All the familiar musical cliches of haunting, evocative exotica of that time period...
This 33and a half l.p seems to be scratch free.Even with two channels the sound is good.
I can imagine that the original buyer got it as a souvenir of the movie, maybe played it a couple times, and then never again!

I just found out tha the sound track was released in mono in 58 .You got the Cd version. reissue 2003.

How did you prevent the record from becoming scratched? ,unless you had just go it as a never before open 33and a half l.p.well preserved for the year it was put out .
I got very lucky! It was a very clean copy of the disc, although there are some small pops on side 2, and light crackle here and there.
Oops I just read that there were two version on disc,mono and stereo .excuse me.
Was this an old CD reissue before the movie was restored?
