The DRC would be a superpower if it would implement the same strategy Norway did back in the 1960s. Back then, the Labour Party mandated that all oil and gas companies operating in Norway be at least 50% owned by the government, and profits be taxed at 78%. With the natural resources the DRC has, specifically cobalt, there is no reason why you can't do this too.
@YungBoiNeverBaldAgain If foreign companies wanted to operate in the country, they had to pay the 78% corporate tax rate for oil and gas companies, and the Norwegian government either bought 50% of existing O/G companies in the country or established a 50/50 joint venture with outside companies when new entities were established in Norway.
@@firefox39693 bro you dont think well 😂. You think companies will pay 78% for oil and gas in congo whe they can get it for a low tax in the middle east. The policies people like you support are just going to make Africa poorer
@@shalyfemusic Norway is the richest country in Europe *because* of its resource wealth, high taxes on incomes, companies, and government ownership of key companies. Leftist ideas like the ones I subscribe to make people and countries richer, not poorer.
@@firefox39693 No they make people poorer. Scandavian income taxes are the highest in Sweden (57%) and the lowest in norway(38%). If you look at sweden it actually has had way more economic problems than norway and denamrk. High taxes drive bussiness and income down and thats a fact. In scandavia high taxes are to pay for public services which is less of a problem since they have a few people. They have so much money and just have around 5 million people. The opposite is true for Congo. I am begging you Im anAfrican I do not like the condition Africa is in. Please leave your good intentioned destructive ideas away from Africa we have had so much of it.
@@shalyfemusic You're clearly a conservative. You don't know what you're talking about *because* you're a conservative. The DRC would have a lot more money if it had a democratic government, more government transparency, much higher taxes, and also unionized labour. Come to think of it, I think I might bring my ideas to Africa. That would pull a lot of people out of hunger and people like you learning a thing or two about politics and economics.
May those countryside wars end, and Dr Congo will level up to South Africa's level.. Love from Kampala, Uganda... I love Congo for supporting our tiny economy

It is incredible how much Africa has solved its intractable problems and improved a lot in recent years. It has gotten over the wreckage of colonialism and moved forward. Job well done Africa.
I thought the whole of Congo was full of tall trees, always raining, with groups of armed young boys mining here and there. Every now and then you hear bullets rattle through the woods. Women with babies on their backs working on the mining sites. Every so often army trucks pass through the muddy roads in the woods. The soldiers are ruthless and harass the locals at every encounter, eat their food, and carry away their small herd of goats. I never thought there was single tarmacked road, let alone a city. Men, I need to travel the world. Thanks for the video.
You are welcome. Many people are still confused even me. I believe by being empathetic and fearless you can see the other side that was hidden from you. The world is not a fair place my friend.

Is a Beautiful country with a wonderful people, I worked there one year!!! The population need peace and stability!!!
May those countryside wars end, and Dr Congo will level up to South Africa's level.. Love from Kampala, Uganda... I love Congo for supporting our tiny economy

If congo stands and prosper.. The whole of africa will prosper
So is it possible for other African countries to put external pressure on the DRC government to stop their stupidity ( letting themselves being influenced by the west / those superpowers country ) and actually focus on growing their country and African as a whole?
Coz DRC's situation is getting more ridiculous

It’s great to see this development, still there’s lot of work to be done to ensure the life and safety of the 80 Million citizens of this country ❤️👍🏻🇨🇩
Omar Al Kayal the 80 million figure is probably by now an old news. That figure was done in 2000 or 2010 it’s old skool. By now your looking near 100 million inhabitants in Congo and still growing in fast rate

Come to INDIA, dear AFRICANS.
It is incredible how much Africa has solved its intractable problems and improved a lot in recent years. It has gotten over the wreckage of colonialism and moved forward. Job well done Africa.
Wow love from S.A That's the Africa I want to see
Eloko ya makasi 🇨🇩❤️❤️
Very beautiful city, regards from México.
THAT'S WHY MEDIAS IS A GREET TOOL OF PROPAGANDA
