My 5th year head was a vindictive piece of shit and because of him, I left when I was 15 as he was on my case all the fucking time and tried his hardest to make me fail my GCSEs (this was in 1988, the first year of GCSEs) by disrupting lessons to have me standing in corridors rather than learning anything important in the months leading up to my GCSEs. At the start there was a degree of mutual respect between Bronson and Kendall, a pity that wasn't explored further. Kendall was a twat unwilling to adapt or even honour the efforts others made for him.

Bronson was tame compared with one complete Hitler at my school called Gibson who used to hit pupils with a wooden paddle for next to nothing. Thing is, though, some lads on their last day used to go and hit him or have a go in the street. In real life Kendall would have probably smacked Bronson one.

As kids, it was perfectly acceptable for adults - not necessarily parents, guardians, babysitters or teachers - to hit kids with the flats of their hands, clenched fists, slippers, plimsolls, shoes, sticks, whatever - they could do so with impunity - kid hits back - it's assault - my generation of kids, the adults thought that we were second class citizens!
I was in boarding schools that felt it appropriate to force-feed kids all kinds of food - without considering the consequences of eating it - then they wondered how kids kept collapsing in the playground or whatever, because they had been force-fed cabbage or sprouts or whatever!

That bronco is one heck of a psycho. if he beaved like that to the kray twins or darth vader he would have been murdered. he is such a bastard teacher. i wouldnt have put it past danny to bonk bronco one. he is too strict and very harsh. i think danny would be in a whole lot of serious trouble if he laid bronson out and would proberly have a criminal record. would proberly be expelled from grange hill and possibly detained if he laid bronson out. such a bastard that bronson. good old michael sheard for portraying him.
