People voice usually get deeper when they get older. Especially when she is a light soprano, this voice type usually has a lot of change when they aging throughout the time.
It’s like asking a retired gymnast to go back and do the same skills they did when they were 15-16 years old. It’s basic biology. People don’t understand.
@@hyun808 She never lost mixed belting bc there is no such thing like mixed belting and besides Mariah never mix in her prime..they are all chest dominant...She only mixed 2000's which is her comebacks.
@@hyun808 unfortunately, I think there’s probably a large nodule there. It’s always the same grainy pressurized sound that she struggles to get out. Like a snap up and then grain and strain. I wonder how awful it must feel want to hit those notes and try and just have your vocals fail you. Love her dearly and I really empathize. It must feel awful to have this awful condition.
Well, Mariah understands the importance of resonance together with amazing technique in singing. Most singers don't. She is not unusually powerful for a lyric voice, she simply has the best technique there ever was in her prime.
chosentenore well in 1996 she kinda had breath problems pitch problems ....... besides that she was fine. but basically she always had pitch problems because of her nod's so its normally but in 1990 untill 1995 she had good breath support mostly
Her voice was very resonant in early 90's especially during Emotions and Music Box eras. Also, she had pitch problems during daydream era, but her voice gets more resonant during Butterfly and #1's era.
White Paper definitely 100% agree with you. Emotions was her most free vocal era her voice literally soared. 1992 is what her actual natural voice sounds like, I think. I mean she literally just exhaled her high notes and I mean her belted high notes. The other eras she tried to change up her style completely. It was pretty but wasn’t 100% her. Then butterfly brought her back to normal. After that her voice had more bad days that it had before
*man... this woman.. i just... i just cant... there will NEVER be another one of her! that voice is beyond amazing.. the technique, the tone.. the power & the uniqueness.. I've NEVER heard any other voice like mariahs.. just incredible to say the least.. wow*
Imaging going this hard & singing like this daily on tour for years and years on out and people having the audacity to complain about your voice not sounding the same as it did when you first debuted? 😭
You forgot the absolute most resonant note. "The wayyy" in Hero Spain in 94. Never heard anything at that level, and also the belts in Vanishing MSG in 93 are out of this world!
Ella perfectamente pudo hacer A5 Bb5 haciendo su voz más ligera, pero priorizó la resonancia y el soporte en las notas B4-G5... El resultado es un sonido penetrante y hermoso!!
BET performance, America the Beautiful, Daydream and the Emotion at Connor was the most resonant voice I have ever heard of her. So heavenly and soft yet piercing and powerful.
Daydream had the most high larynx and nasality of her prime. What the hell are you talking about..? You are definitely not trained to know about these things lol
You’re correct and anyone watching her throat then can see it’s an a neutral position like the 100’s of vocal coaches who have analyzed it. Not sure what these other morons are shouting about 🙄
I can't believe people expect her to sound the same after 27 years when she delivered these fucking amazing vocals.
But this video could contain the intro of Joy to the World in the Christmas Show of 2015.

She could sound even better, if her voice didn't have nodules, and she actually TRAINED & DEVELOPED it properly tho!
Her mid belts are even more resonate now.
Erick Freiria They're still resonant madam
Right .she lost high mixed belting. But her mid belts are so strong and resonant

1:09 resonance through the roof omg
Early 90's didn't sound very resonant but mid 90's was daaaaaaamnnnnnnnn RESONANT QUEENT
EJJohnson01 If its over, america the beautiful, vanishing and emotions were amazing resonant though, before 1993.
Whitney fan yea she had her moments in early 90's but mid 90's it was resonance galore!!!!! Every song, every high note, was just flawless.
EJJohnson01 true...

2.05 I think it was her most resonant ever
wadah itil I'm thinking of it too. But her resonance on If Its Over Grammy is too scary 😂

Queen of Belting and of Resonance.
Yes
Queen of Belting is Aretha Franklin...yea..she is a Queen tho but she is the least belter in the Trinity
@@bestvocalsbyvocalists849 Aretha is not the best belter out there

Great vid! She was extremely resonant in the Charmbracelet era aswell. Such an underrated era in my opinion
Liam Prest sure is! her msg 1995 resonant might be unmatched though
Daydream tour was the most resonant. Specially in her upper belts
that era was one of her best vocal..
daydream is fucking unreal
I love forever and the tone in that clip.
1:34 F5 like nothing XD.
F#5* 😁
Really? Then wow.
Celine dion
tHIS Video is like 3% of Mariah's compilation of resonant Vocals. #QUEEN #LEGEND #GreatestVocalist
True, there are countless of resonant belts of Mariah.
3.13 minutes of slayage
Her voice makes me emotional 😥 It's so beautiful
Ella perfectamente pudo hacer A5 Bb5 haciendo su voz más ligera, pero priorizó la resonancia y el soporte en las notas B4-G5... El resultado es un sonido penetrante y hermoso!!
1993-1994 midbelts from perfs like Hero, Without You, & others were very resonant
sustained note at intro joy to the world 2014 amazing too
ondy andra I will check it,thank you
If it’s over is such a vocal suicide like she phrased 11 F#5’s in under 2 minutes and added in a whistle for fun as well I wish she performed it more
I finally found something she lacks.... Struggle
Yes she did all of these with ease.
@@bestvocalsbyvocalists849 idk about all of them lol
In part two you should add the C5 in ABMB from the AA tour she's wearing a long black dress
Raping Bagels yesss that belt is a master piece
BET performance, America the Beautiful, Daydream and the Emotion at Connor was the most resonant voice I have ever heard of her. So heavenly and soft yet piercing and powerful.
She's amazing!! Definitely nobody can get near to that perfection!!
The last C5 is REALLY GOOD resonance! It made me ears jump!
That version of Forever, omg. I ran out of breath listening to it.
One and only queen of every vocal ability!!!!!!😙😍
I died because of this
2:02 is my fav❤
She was most resonant during daydream because her larynx was at the most neutral position and she had perfect placement
Daydream had the most high larynx and nasality of her prime. What the hell are you talking about..? You are definitely not trained to know about these things lol
No..daydream belts are actually high larynx..and she is often nasal that era..but yea it was her most resonant era.

Music box was far more resonant
Doesn't her dress at 1:30 remind you of the dress she wore during the Caution tour?
How to put out a resonance vid of Mariah? Just put all of her MSG performance there!
The best!
queen 😭😭😭
Should have included more 2010s vocals. Her belts post 2009 and through the 2010s are her most resonant.
Rainha 👑
Amazing
Great
How about Daydream "Without You"? The one at Tokyo Dome.
Woww

a F#5, it went flat on that performance
G5*
