Eugenia is a 28-year-old woman looking and dressing like a Monster Mash doll. And acting like a child. And having a child's room. She denied having anorexia nervosa, a deadly mental health disorder. Her real friend Jaclyn intervened and got her a psyche eval that she failed and was put on a 5150 hold through the police, then mental health professionals took over and involuntarily committed her, and she went into rehab for thirty days. Although she came out admitting she had an eating disorder she back slid and ended up losing even more weight. Eugenia started out looking normal and was at a healthy weight. If you care about her and want her to live, stop subscribing, stop viewing, and stop liking, what she represents because its harming her, she isn't a positive role model, and come on moms, would you let your children hang out with a 28-year-old woman child and let her influence them? The message she needs to get is people won't support her being self-destructive. Most likely her periods stopped. And eventually, she will have organ failure, a heart attack and even die if she keeps this up. Her mother Debbie is her enabler and they have an unhealthy co-dependent relationship. The mother is often told she has Munchausen by proxy.
she's pushing 30 and is having her mom bake her own birthday cookies as she stands around bewildered at literally everything going on around her and constantly body checking herself as she talks like a 7-year-old.
it's the effect of her mind deteriorating with her body, and a sign of nearing death. this could also be partially from her upbringing and such, but i'm not saying she isn't responsible for quite a big chunk of her problems though.
Like they say the apples don't fall far from the tree. I personally think they all have stubborn and mental problems but puts up an act. The dad is probably more normal and stays away or don't give af.
@@Gaibreel what's irritating is people like you assuming how people are when you don't even know them in person.. also just because someone is happy on camera doesn't mean they are like that behind closed doors .. she's hardly gonna upload a video of her mother crying and begging her for help. we don't know wtf goes on. you can't force someone to get help who does not want it. i suffered with mental health for over 5 years ago and my mum tried desperately to get me help but i would not get it. so she threw me out and i moved in with my dad and he had a softer touch and left me to do what ever i wanted but it didn't mean he doesn't care about me... it took another 6 years for me to realize by my own self that i need to get help and then i got it, alone.
It’s just so bizarre. She doesn’t touch anything. She doesn’t move really. She just looks at herself while her mom does everything and strangely narrates. If someone was doing that next to me, I’d be like “can you go sit down somewhere?”

I remember in treatment we made chocolate chip cookies and one of my friends who was really serious about recovering said she'd eat the biggest one so I had a bigger one too and the nutritionist cried. I've always loved baking and cooking. So many things I enjoyed dropped out of my life as I started spending every second obsessing. I truly hope everyone struggling can get the support they need.
I love baking. Baking is more complicated than cooking. One wrong small step will mess up everything. That's why I feel so accomplished when I succeed. I made my first pound cake yesterday. Don't even like pound cake but I wanted to see if I could and I did! Congrats on your recovery.

She's being held hostage. Watch the Shane Dawson documentary. The family placed extremely heavy bars on the doors to prevent her from leaving and forced her to lie about them being for another purpose. Eugenia nervously opens up about her disorder as if it had all been a personal choice/problem to distract from the fact that she is in serious danger if she does not comply. I genuinely don't think she's allowed to eat. Anyone who has gone a significant amount of time without eating knows it's difficult to start again because the stomach shrinks. Her mother is a sick manipulator; who knows what else she allows, and films, in the house. Seriously. You can see the trauma on this terrified, sweet woman's face and sense the perversion from behind the camera. And then take a look at the bullying she endures online. She's so oblivious-seeming, joyful, and child-like because she is making the best of what little life she has. Years of abuse can result in brainwashing as well. I want to see her monster of a mother behind bars forever. You can even tell which posts she captioned herself and which are actually Eugenia. I'm outraged and so saddened. We should all be.

you can not only see her deteriorating but also her mind. After she got back from rehab she not only looked healthy but sounded so so healthy and spoke clearly. I’m sad we didn’t get to see her fully blossom. I hope she finds the will to try again and become healthy before there is any irreversible damage. She wasn’t healthy though. I think people assume if someone with an ED eats they’ll be all better. But clearly rehab didn’t even begin to tackle her psychological issues. She never truly got better hence the relapse.
Notice that Eugenia rarely adds her own input- mostly she speaks response mode to her mother. It’s automatic, robotic, instinct- to agree enthusiastically, with everything she says. She watches and responds, her mother leads. Her mother is absorbed in her own reality, seeming to expect this attentive affirming stream of energy from Eugenia and has likely conditioned her unintentionally. I relate so much, when I’m around my own mother I go into autopilot, watching carefully her every move and responding accordingly. I had to exist aligned with her reality, and not mine - exactly the dynamic shown here. Never intentional, she was just self absorbed and highly anxious, seeking my affirming comfort, me to be the pacifying agreeable validation she couldn’t give herself. I wish so badly to step in and mother her like she needs, give her my undivided attention and comfort and energy. She is depleted, poor sweet angel.
Her mom isn’t to blame but I agree that her mom probably loves having Eugenia rely on her and be like a toddler. Some moms love to keep their children and never let them grow up and be independent.

I wonder if she dresses and acts younger, because her mom gave her more attention when she was little? I kinda did that with my dad, dressed and acted like a boy, because he preffered my brother over us 3 girls. Didn't work obviously.
A woman her age (almost 30) should have at least even just experienced living on her own; driving, grocery shopping, cooking, etc. it’s as though she has not done any of the normal day to day things an adult has to do. It’s very odd and honestly sad that she’s completely dependent on her mother at this age.

As someone who has recovered from anorexia, at my worse I baked all the time for other people but never let myself have any. I hope she gets help, so much better when you get to eat what you baked 😅
@amybelovedtree1346 Sure, but to not take into consideration how long it has been and that they live together speaks volumes. Mothers can be completely innocent of their child's decisions but to not get them help or report it has its own faults and consequences.

If the mother was any mother at all, she wouldn't let her daughter self destruct in front of her eyes. If she were my daughter, she wouldn't be allowed to be RUclips promoting her unhealthy lifestyle, I think she should be taken down until she gets healthy, then she would beallowed to make videos about getting better. I used to be part of pronana websites in the late 90s. I was a teen. Anyway. They see cooking meals for others as a sense of power and control. They were able to cook foods they love without eating them. It makes her feel good about her self and that she has self control.
I sure knew there was an oven at age 28. My mother was unwell and I took over cooking the family dinner every night when I was a teenager. I also heard of an invention called a washing machine.
Right!!! I was aware of what an oven was when I was a really young kid. I even started cooking at like 10 years old. The way she was so shocked by literally EVERYTHING just blew my mind. It's like she's never been in a kitchen in her entire 28 years

When I was 12-13 I developed an eating disorder but it had nothing to do with body image. I had an irrational fear of getting sick to my stomach to the point that I avoided eating. I was misdiagnosed and placed into an outpatient ED recovery group. There was one for adults and one for kids/teens. I’ll never forget one of the therapists one day telling us about a woman from the adult clinic who was so deep in her disorder that no hospital would take her. She was a liability for dying on the unit and they wanted to save the space for someone with a better survival rate. I remember choking back tears and being so angry. I wondered how they could preach about loving ourselves and yet turn around and allow someone to die, not from cancer, but from their own behavior. I never knew or saw the woman but I look at Eugenia and I wonder if it is the same scenario. 10 years later the memory still stabs me in the heart. I wish we weren’t so quick to give up on others, even if they’ve given up on themselves. 💔
It’s really sad because if you remember the video with the Collab with Shane Dawson if you’ve watched it, she helped herself and got healthy and was working on her health and came off social media and everything. Was the best thing she did and now she’s fell in the trap again she just needs support like she’s just in denial about it but she needs to do something about it because it’s getting dangerous bless her
I'm a mother of 2 adult children (19 and 23 yrs old) and they can both cook and bake. This is the most bizarre video of Eugenia I've ever seen. She literally makes one ball and has no idea what she's doing or knows that cookies are baked in the oven. That awkward hug at the end tells all about their relationship. It's just sad.

It’s so odd how she checks the camera / focus with her head facing to the side and one eye.. no one naturally does that. She is the most self conscious person I’ve ever seen. Which I guess is evident and likely the reason for her current state.. and very sad. There are so many sad things about this but the more she checks herself out in the camera and only faces one direction, the more I realize why she is the way she is and how self conscious she is. And not that what I say matters or changes anything but I think she is truly and naturally gorgeous.. I won’t say more than that because I know things can be triggering but let’s just say she was MOST gorgeous several years back. I hate that someone or multiple people made a stupid comment when she tried out modeling because it affected her WAY too much. (But, if she was that sensitive she never would have made it as a model to begin with either).
No matter if my adult child had any sort of physical, mental or emotional disorder...I would NEVER be 'uncomfortable' to be in public with my child. It's called unconditional love...it's called being a mother.
I can say that while you’re actively in something, you are either in denial, you’re used to it or it becomes something you accept. When my father was starving himself to death, we knew it was bad and we knew he looked unhealthy but it wasn’t until he had passed away and we were looking back at the photos that we were really hit by just how awful he had looked. I was 13 and I knew it was bad and it hurt him to be hugged and that single thing broke my heart over and over. It got to where I couldn’t even hug him. It was like he was dead before he was even gone. Anyway, my point is that she is probably aware but our brains like to lie to us a little to protect us. I don’t like speculating what other people think when I don’t know them. Even when I do know someone I know it’s not safe to speculate.
Ugh I lived with my mum during my anorexia. I can easily imagine her reaction if, back then, I’d asked her to bake cookies with my near-death self for an internet video. She would’ve flat out refused and reminded me that I needed help, and my behaviour wasn’t healthy or normal. She wouldn’t have acted like this mother. A parent dealing with a mentally unwell child may not be able to cure their kid or force them to change/get help.. but playing along with seriously warped things like this is cruel and dysfunctional. That’s the most disturbing part about Eugenia’s illness. Her mother.

I just said the same thing! I was disturbed when she asked Eugenia "Are you excited?!" when she knows full well Eugenia isn't going to eat any of the food. What a strange comment to make to a person with a severe eating disorder.

Like with any eating disorder, the problem isn’t the food and nourishment, but the amount of control and the withholding of food. This control is usually centred around some degree of trauma.

My mother was literally bulimic and anorexic. And this is exactly how she acted around food. She never even really cooked when I went to visit her and her husband (I was raised by my grandma) My mother's husband did all the cooking 💀 She would drink lemon water throughout the entire day and then eat dinner That was it

i remember deep in my ed, when i would ask my mom/whoever i was baking with EXACTLY how much of an ingredient was going in. “that’s a lot of butter” or the other comments she made about the sugar, i remember feeling the need to ask that. the fear of those minuscule things. i truly hope she wakes up out of this deadly illness and makes things right for herself, and those she has hurt through posting this behavior.
When I started baking, I was shocked how much sugar, butter etc went into the recipes. My mom had warned me once. I think many people who don't have any kind of ed can be suprised too at first when they see the recipes. So baking can be kinda an eye opening experience in that matter.

I have nearly the same accent as EC, which is very different from the rest of my family. I attribute it to being constantly online and hearing a multitude of different accents, as I've only heard the exact accent from other chronically online people. Man, I need to go touch grass.
Well Eugenia acts a lot. She puts on a baby voice. She breaks it sometimes if she is talking for a while straight in a video you can hear the moments where she slightly drops the act.

I've never seen anything so painful. You can tell that mother has never baked. When you cream butter and sugar, you cream the butter first and gradually add the sugar so it gets dissolved. Never heard of domino sugar. It’s “crazy” to use a mixer. My daughter has her own stand mixer, mixing bowls & measuring tools. And she just turned 16 but knew her way around a kitchen by 10
I know the Domino sugar since I emigrated to the USA. I rarely use this sugar though. I typically make my own rock sugar from sugarcane, or I buy raw sugar. The white refined sugar I reserve for certain candymaking recipes that require a high glycemic sugar for the proper yield. I rarely add sugar to much. It just doesn't play a huge role in my cooking, other than a tablespoon of honey to cut down on spicy dishes.

I used to throw up all my food when I was in my late twenties. I was little I wore kids clothes. Hurt my teeth badly. Throwing up at least ten times a day. I was running miles every day living on one cup of yogurt and tinny hamburger patty. The Lord and the love of my son pulled me back to reality. Thank you Lord Jesus for saving me. Her real friend Jaclyn intervened and got her a psyche eval that she failed and was put on a 5150 hold through the police, then mental health professionals took over and involuntarily committed her, and she went into rehab for thirty days. Although she came out admitting she had an eating disorder she back slid and ended up losing even more weight. Eugenia started out looking normal and was at a healthy weight. If you care about her and want her to live, stop subscribing, stop viewing, and stop liking, what she represents because its harming her, she isn't a positive role model, and come on moms, would you let your children hang out with a 28-year-old woman child and let her influence them? The message she needs to get is people won't support her being self-destructive. Most likely her periods stopped. And eventually, she will have organ failure, a heart attack and even die if she keeps this up. Her mother Debbie is her enabler and they have an unhealthy co-dependent relationship. The mother is often told she has Munchausen by proxy.

I remember in treatment we made chocolate chip cookies and one of my friends who was really serious about recovering said she'd eat the biggest one so I had a bigger one too and the nutritionist cried. I've always loved baking and cooking. So many things I enjoyed dropped out of my life as I started spending every second obsessing. I truly hope everyone struggling can get the support they need.

The family placed extremely heavy bars on the doors to prevent her from leaving and forced her to lie about them being for another purpose. Eugenia nervously opens up about her disorder as if it had all been a personal choice/problem to distract from the fact that she is in serious danger if she does not comply. I genuinely don't think she's allowed to eat. Anyone who has gone a significant amount of time without eating knows it's difficult to start again because the stomach shrinks. Her mother is a sick manipulator; who knows what else she allows, and films, in the house. Seriously. You can see the trauma on this terrified, sweet woman's face and sense the perversion from behind the camera. And then take a look at the bullying she endures online. She's so oblivious-seeming, joyful, and child-like because she is making the best of what little life she has. Years of abuse can result in brainwashing as well. I want to see her monster of a mother behind bars forever. You can even tell which posts she captioned herself and which are actually Eugenia. I'm outraged and so saddened. We should all be.

Notice that Eugenia rarely adds her own input- mostly she speaks response mode to her mother. It’s automatic, robotic, instinct- to agree enthusiastically, with everything she says. She watches and responds, her mother leads. Her mother is absorbed in her own reality, seeming to expect this attentive affirming stream of energy from Eugenia and has likely conditioned her unintentionally. I relate so much, when I’m around my own mother I go into autopilot, watching carefully her every move and responding accordingly. I had to exist aligned with her reality, and not mine - exactly the dynamic shown here. Never intentional, she was just self absorbed and highly anxious, seeking my affirming comfort, me to be the pacifying agreeable validation she couldn’t give herself. I wish so badly to step in and mother her like she needs, give her my undivided attention and comfort and energy. She is depleted, poor sweet angel.

When I was 12-13 I developed an eating disorder but it had nothing to do with body image. I had an irrational fear of getting sick to my stomach to the point that I avoided eating. I was misdiagnosed and placed into an outpatient ED recovery group. There was one for adults and one for kids/teens. I’ll never forget one of the therapists one day telling us about a woman from the adult clinic who was so deep in her disorder that no hospital would take her. She was a liability for dying on the unit and they wanted to save the space for someone with a better survival rate. I remember choking back tears and being so angry. I wondered how they could preach about loving ourselves and yet turn around and allow someone to die, not from cancer, but from their own behavior. I never knew or saw the woman but I look at Eugenia and I wonder if it is the same scenario. 10 years later the memory still stabs me in the heart. I wish we weren’t so quick to give up on others, even if they’ve given up on themselves. 💔

It’s so odd how she checks the camera / focus with her head facing to the side and one eye.. no one naturally does that. She is the most self conscious person I’ve ever seen. Which I guess is evident and likely the reason for her current state.. and very sad. There are so many sad things about this but the more she checks herself out in the camera and only faces one direction, the more I realize why she is the way she is and how self conscious she is. And not that what I say matters or changes anything but I think she is truly and naturally gorgeous.. I won’t say more than that because I know things can be triggering but let’s just say she was MOST gorgeous several years back. I hate that someone or multiple people made a stupid comment when she tried out modeling because it affected her WAY too much. (But, if she was that sensitive she never would have made it as a model to begin with either).

I can say that while you’re actively in something, you are either in denial, you’re used to it or it becomes something you accept. When my father was starving himself to death, we knew it was bad and we knew he looked unhealthy but it wasn’t until he had passed away and we were looking back at the photos that we were really hit by just how awful he had looked. I was 13 and I knew it was bad and it hurt him to be hugged and that single thing broke my heart over and over. It got to where I couldn’t even hug him. It was like he was dead before he was even gone.
Anyway, my point is that she is probably aware but our brains like to lie to us a little to protect us. I don’t like speculating what other people think when I don’t know them. Even when I do know someone I know it’s not safe to speculate.

I've never seen anything so painful. You can tell that mother has never baked. When you cream butter and sugar, you cream the butter first and gradually add the sugar so it gets dissolved. Those are the weirdest measuring cups I've ever seen. Whatever happened to ordinary ones that you just level off? Then they chuck in 2 cups of flour and put the mixer on high. Duh. I've never used watermelon in cookies... don't think it would end well given just how watery and finicky watermelon is... but one of my summer specialties was a chilled watermelon mint gazpacho. I realize this is cooking, not baking, (technically, it's not even COOKING per se) but still. Watermelon, INCLUDING the rinds, has some amazing culinary applications.

She was like a support to her mom for the cookie making while at the same time being in charge all by herself for the video making. And sorry to make you aware of that fact, but you are consuming the video as we speak, meaning she did produce it for you to consume. Making your “she doesn’t do ANYTHING productive” comment completely invalid.

Never heard of domino sugar. It’s “crazy” to use a mixer. My daughter has her own stand mixer, mixing bowls & measuring tools. And she just turned 16 but knew her way around a kitchen by 10

I know the Domino sugar since I emigrated to the USA. I rarely use this sugar though. I typically make my own rock sugar from sugarcane, or I buy raw sugar. The white refined sugar I reserve for certain candymaking recipes that require a high glycemic sugar for the proper yield. I rarely add sugar to much. It just doesn't play a huge role in my cooking, other than a tablespoon of honey to cut down on spicy dishes.
I live in sweden so i dont know this "domino sugar" but i assume its like household name that most people should know, i imagine how crazy it would be for a swedish person to not know ikea for example,

I used to throw up all my food when I was in my late twenties. I was little I wore kids clothes. Hurt my teeth badly. Throwing up at least ten times a day. I was running miles every day living on one cup of yogurt and tinny hamburger patty. The Lord and the love of my son pulled me back to reality. Thank you Lord Jesus for saving me.
