You know when the video is titled "How to make something" - then the line "it is very simple" is not enough, you got actually explain how to make the stuff)

This is not a DIY video , but a "how to" explanation. Manual tube droppers require an extra person to drop balls, and auto droppers (like in the video) are way more expensive than $5. Here is how you make it: take a box, fill it with balls, pick a ball out of the box with your off hand, drop it on the table and hit it. You can even spin the ball with your fingers to practice with a little topspin. Setting up a tube dropper is not worth the effort, don't bother.

you can not make this robot with 5$. because you need a machine that can control the interval.

there are many videos on youtube to build an easy robot yourself. you could even build something simple which refills itself and attaches spin to the ball for like 30€ i guess

Although this DIY robot is good, it is not like a conventional robot which shoots the ball at you like an opponent. The DIY robot only drops the ball in front of you and does not shoot the ball at you, so the training will be different.

The aliexpress product is different than the one in the video. The one in the video throws balls automatically, which would be useful to train by yourself, the aliexpress product you'll need someone else to put the balls on the robot manually, basically making it impossible to use it just by yourself
