Good job Steve I have a FedEx truck then I bought last year I keep it fully stocked with whatever I need just like you do let me say this about sleep apnea lot of people think that it's nothing I almost died two times I got my weight off I have been good ever since
In manufacturing, when the line goes down as a result, youll have 4 managers standing over you demanding to know what the problem is and how long will it take to fix. A customer would be nothing.
I would always check myself to be sure the power is cut off visually and with a meter. Chk, chk, double check. Just sayin........good job Steve. Love your videos keeping it real 😎
We stuck in a time waarp here July 3rd was a busy day! Tha van was quiet in the beginning now everything is rattled in! U the man Steve! Have a couple beers and do a coffee chat! Hey by chance the supply house ever call you !
If a tech doesnt like a helicopter then the owner can tell them Good bye. Too many shady hvac ripoffs out there. And paying 200$ for a 30 minute fix is disgusting
Thanks for the entertaining videos Steve ! I keep trying to talk my wife into driving from NJ here to visit you up there on a "short vacation " but she says "No". I told her we could follow you around on a couple of calls. It would be fun ! 😅
Don't worry guys - I'm not really going up there. It was supposed to be funny ( apparently failed ) BUT if I can get 5 or 6 others, we could hire a van.
The only way a unit would lose oil is if it had a major leak such as blowing a line drier or a compresser failure. New compressors come filled with proper amount of oil. The rest of the system would be chemically cleaned to flush iut contaminates and residual oil. If a unit did blow a line drier and immediately lost all the charge, the oil loss would be minimal. Too much oil is a major issue, it can cause TXV issues and clog pistons. Adding oil usually will not quiet a noisy compressorand not too common of a practice. It's not like when your car is low on oil and making noise.
Mmm i like that how much lets figure it out 2 guys 1 screw 1 capassor 1 connector 2 times switch on/ off 3 cover screws 1trip gas work time 15 mins conversion 15 mins plus trip $350 plus tax plus parts
Always use a digital multimeter to test for power. Never ever deviate. And wear gloves. Those black nirilite gloves do not offer much protection. Wear leather!!😮😮😮😮
Famous last words, “It’s off, right?”
Next set of last words, "Steve was such a nice guy".
Crazy he doesn't do a check himself. No voltmeter verification either... Maybe he did off camera. Oh well, who wants to live forever?!
lol

The majority of guys couldn't make a repair with the homeowner hovering 🚁. Steve is unique. 👍

Yes maybe that's why he doesn't brush out the lint and dead bugs while changing the cap.
Ya get used to it. I was in for 37yrs., didn't use knee pads, forced me to retire.
@10:42 best advice to give homeowner. Can't keep trying to reset a breaker
You can't stop a Goodman! Another cap'n'go mamma, cha-ching! 😊
An absolute legend. Straight up old school
Yes, that's some nutdriver he has. Steve is tighter than 2 coats of paint.

Nice job Stever, happy customer. Steve, I’ve been using a CPAP machine for 18 years and it really makes your life much better.

So just before I sa forced to retire from 2 strokes. I used that plastic stick down shit to cover the carpet. Still love your vids. Thank you
It’s like every customer Steve get is a helicopter
There is nothing wrong with that.
If a tech doesnt like a helicopter then the owner can tell them Good bye. Too many shady hvac ripoffs out there. And paying 200$ for a 30 minute fix is disgusting
With the capacitor upside down it's obviously been replaced. I'd question that a 80-5 cap is the correct size. Could be, but seems rare.
Good job Steve, She's a big one, Mr Grinch.
Enjoyed the Video today!!! 😉🇺🇸 👍👍
That ole 5 ton has had some hot suppers! lol
Circuit breaker is off right?
Customer: Of course, Customer is never wrong....Zappppppp 😢😢
Gotta love the easy jobs 👍
All the electrons run out when you mount caps upside down :)
A master at his craft 👏 and also hilarious 😂.
Always test for power… trust NO one
Or just pull the outside disconnect.
How’s the truck? A few months in now right?
Great job!
Thanks for the entertaining videos Steve !
I keep trying to talk my wife into driving from NJ here to visit you up there on a "short vacation " but she says "No".

PS we should be together too

Getting 2 video a day love it
And he's still 2 weeks behind. God bless him. When its hot I don't wanna even look at my phone and this guy is filming every job
Howdy Steve and Molly
Hello Steve!
Running another red light. 🚦
Working again momaaaa
With that kind of damage I would suggest to not be touching the cabinet when the power is turned on.
80/5 is a "How you doing" capacitor.
That compressor sounded rough. The lineset was sweating, but could it have been low, needling the oil more than the actual refrigerant?
It's a Goodman, you're not supposed to be able to hear yourself think while it's running!

"turn on the breaker! If the breaker trips right away, don't keep playin' with it" Steve Lav

What's that at the end of the video? Looks like a bunch of carpenter ants. You don't want those things around your house!!
Steve's using black gloves y'all. Watch out!
Steve is on a roll
It's July 3rd again! I think this might be the 7th video from July 3rd.
i am a working man guy .. some days i have a lot of jobs to do...

Untangle those wires... :(
It’s a crusty one
Another Goodman.
Because it's a goodman
You’ll find burned wires on every brand of condensing unit. That’s why it’s important to inspect the electrical wiring in the Spring.
Another famous last words - “watch this”
Hi Steven you Good Vire k I'm interested for you Video

Hello Steve!
