Think it's funny, next time you get your insurance bill and it's been raised, laugh then insurance companies use the information concerning the number of tickets and accidents in your area to decide your premiums. I do believe that in the area that I live in, that the majority of individuals who run from the law don't really have the intelligence to do that. Couldn't agree more! There's been NO car-motorcycle accidents at what is probably the largest and most dangerous unsanctioned ride, the Ride of the Century. The only accidents every at ROC were motorcycle-motorcycle and single motorcycle accidents!
Cars are pretty much safe from bikes!

I wanted to go into law enforcement as a teenager but changed my mind after my senior project involving a tour of the local county jail and personally working with a family member who was a private investigator for the county and had been in law enforcement for over 60 years. Your assumption of me has nothing to do with what I said but has everything to do with your hatred for authority. These bikers ride in groups and suddenly feel unstoppable, yet when someone or something goes down you scatter like the roaches that you are. Choose to ride choose to die.

I hope you motorcycle riders understand, we driver of cars or "cages" as you like to call them actually don't mind you guys group riding and enjoying yourselves. It's when you guys get way too many people and then bunch up for what seem like miles, and not allowing other road users to get to where they want that annoys people.

Just so you know, the guys in this video don't represent all motorcycles. Just like some asshole in an SUV who freaks out and kills some bikers in a road rage incident isn't representative of all car drivers.

That's one example I guess, but not the one I'm talking about. All in all, just show some consideration to other road users. Imagine how long the train of riders are if there are 100 riders in that group and how inconvenient it would be if you need to get to the right lane to exit and this train rolls by you and you miss your exit. This was an awesome video! The part where that bike on the highway was toying with the cop was priceless and then at the end he tried to take out the bike and wiped! The guy on the bike must have loved that ending especially on film. I got to admit these videos are fun to watch I can relate to these chases it was what we would do for fun when I was growing up.

If I ever did get the chance to get one, what would your recommendation be? I'm a beginner and the bike couldn't be outrageous in price...

My first street bike was an R6. Of course I'd ridden dirtbikes for years before that, including 450s which have way more snappy power than an R6. But I'd definitely recommend a 600cc supersport, whereas everyone else recommends 250s. If not a 600cc supersport then I would recommend a factory supermoto. Those are just the bikes that are best for the price as far as: fuel mileage, reliability, fun, and potential.
They have the potential to teach you a TON about riding, they have the potential to make anyone from a beginner rider to an experienced rider happy while riding (whereas most experienced riders would be unhappy on a 250 unless it's on a super tight track) and they have the potential to retain value far longer than a 250cc. Usually, nobody will buy a 250 used for more than 1-2 thousand dollars, no matter how much you take care of it, whereas a 600cc bike will retain value for a very long time as long as you take care of it.
Insurgent Outcast Lol You haven't even driven a car before.. I'm not trying to be mean, but get a 250 if you're going to get a bike and go against your parents' wishes. You will NOT understand the full potential a 600 has unless you have previous riding experience on a 250, or super moto. I can almost guarantee you something bad will happen if you start on a 600 with 0 riding or driving experience. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
Insurgent Outcast I say get a Supermoto before anything else! Fun as anything! Off road AND on road, decent power & can easily get away from cops through parks, fields, forests etc;) AND not too expensive either... I recommend a Suzuki DRZ400 sm or a Yamaha WR450x
Insurgent Outcast Just start out with a Ninja 250 and get all of your safety gear, helmet, leather, etc. The Ninja 250 is a good choice because it holds its value if you get it to just learn how to ride.

This is a tactic commonly used by CHP called a “Highway Brake”. Mostly used for slowing down traffic for various reasons.
a few years ago I was on vacation out in the southwest, I had my truck and fifth wheel camper. a cop came up behind me with his lights on, as he passed he motioned for me to slow down. I did. a group of bikers chose to ignore him and speed up. he had been trying to warn of a heat fracture where a road connected with a bridge. all of the bikers went down. 3 dead

The police officer uses the tactic of weaving across the highway to get people to slow down and then stop. Especially when theres a major crash or some road work.
... No. This was at a big riding event organized online and some people who didn't want to respect the law (not saying they were WRONG, just saying they didn't follow the law, don't get pissed off) and were doing wheelies and such and weren't stopping when cops lit them up got into the group ride. So nobody was stopping for cops and they were SEVERELY unprepared for the thousands of bikers that "invaded" the city (ROC, look it up) and they weren't able to make many arrests (I think they made one or maybe two) and nobody was stopping. So this overzealous cop thought he would stop thousands of bikers by weaving around. That's why it's hilarious. The bikers just blew by him as soon as the "leader" of the group signaled them to do so.
Pretty badass, overall, nobody was hurt and no lives were really risked, maybe a couple of people were inconvenienced but that was because of the police roadblocks.
FailsAndFights You gatta give it up for the crown vic though. He fucking took off! Even when he was stopped at an angle too, he gunned it, and kept up with the bikers near in the front.
Bill Hicks Yeah, that was crazy, didn't think those little V6s had it in 'em. Well, if it's not your car it's pretty easy to stomp the pedal, but I can't believe how fast that crown vic took off. It kept up with the bikes (they weren't gunning it, but still)
Police interceptor Crown Vic is a V-8, pumping about 250-300 at the crank. No V-6. But I am wondering why in the second clip the police blocked off all traffic on the freeway? Honestly I think the police should just stop trying to chase a motorbike if they don't pull over...they don't have the pure acceleration or the agility of a sport bike at all. It's just not worth it. Call in the plate if you can and send a unit to their home. Problem solved.

The Police have a duty of care too other road users though - if they call off the pursuit and allow these people to continue to drive and they then kill a pedestrian or another driver, the individual Officers could be criticised/face disciplinary action/civil proceedings/or prosecution for neglect of duty by not dealing with them and standing down from the pursuit - damned if you do and damned if you don't - we have the right to use the roads without being put at risk by people whose intelligence level runs to baiting and putting at risk our already heavily depleted and over stretched Emergency Services.

I mean come on, I am all for upholding the "law" but seriously this cop continued to pursue making the biker drive more erratic causing more danger to innocent people on the road. Unless you have the right to run a biker off the road or stop them by means of force (which YOU DONT) then let it go. OMG this is why cops have a bad reputation. The thing is he did something he knows is illegal, then taunts the people we expect to uphold the law.......then they are expected to remain indifferent to all these people and allow them to go because they continue to do illegal activities in front of them that might harm an innocent person if they continue to chase them? So, your logic dictates that anyone committing a crime that may endanger others should be allowed to go, so really not allowing the police to do their job and giving the impression we don't have to listen to them in turn leaving them unable to do their job. Blowing things out of proportion saying this but...... Marshall law is the next step and none of us want that.
the first clip was amazing, I did this one time(no video unfortunately) with a group of friends about 5 years ago on I-95, best fun we had in awhile, we still talk about it today how we had all those cops chasing us😂 They ended up dropping the charges on us because one of the cops swerved into one our guys and injured him. While I don't condone this, I must admit it was fun.

ROC (Ride of the Century) it's an annual riding event that goes on in St. Louis where thousands of bikers show up and ride on the highway, look it up there's a bunch of videos

I mean, fair play, it's a laugh and all (me and my mates used to ride a lot when we were younger, but nothing on this level), it just seems like for the cost of a few bucks you could have a totally closed track, no cars, few obstacles to wipe you out, track free of debris, no getting chased by police, no fines, no getting your bike confiscated or losing your licence, no hiked insurance premiums,...
...you get the drift, lol
