I was in law enforcement for 12 years and can say w/out hesitation, the best policy is to let a speeder go. It's never worth the risk placed on the public unless you're chasing a felony suspect.

It'll cruise highway speeds easy and delivers enough power that you won't be super bored when you get more comfortable on a bike. Keep the shiny side up my friend!

The problem with hauling ass is how much ground you cover. A lot of these guys picked up 4 or 5 new cops along the way. As soon as they gain some distance, they pass another cop, resetting their progress. It seems unpredictable directional changes in tight areas is what gets em off your ass. I watch all of these types of vids I can for scenario training

I'm pro cop, but they really oughta just mind their own damn business and focus on real crimes. Speeding, running stop signs, etc... aren't real crimes. If a cop tries to enforce a speed limit when the guy is doing 20 or less over the speed limit, I hope that car bricks. Speed limits in the US are retarded. Should be 20mph higher every road except residential communities, in which it should only be 10 higher.

Some of these cops are willing to drive so recklessly that they could kill innocent people, or themselves, just to catch their suspect. It could be a rookie cop who's trying to prove himself, or just a hard ass, you never know. That's why some states don't allow officers to chase like this. Killing someone is not worth catching a reckless driver!
