The Hero's Shade feels more depressing when you realise that in that timeline, Link returned to live as a child after OoT, so no one knows that he saved them, and in MJ he breaks the timeloop and, presumably, restarts the 3 days with no one knowing he saved them as well. In the eyes of history, he was a failure of a Link, but to the actual events, he was one of the greatest heroes.
The number one spot is so well deserved - I played trough this as a child and had nightmares for years about this Majoras Mask final hours... the earthquake getting stronger, darkness, the creepy looking moon, the disturbing music, the countdown... I honestly never dared to let the time run out completely as a child... but I love that game.
You're braver than me. As a kid, I turned off the game after playing it for a week, terrified of the clock running out. Couple of years later, I finally went back and beat it.
@@patrickdabson3650 I don't know about that. I dared to watch the footage of time running out completely in Majoras Mask a couple years ago on RUclips to see it for the first time as an adult, but never in the game. My friends were a lot braver back then :D
I always felt for the postman in those last few hours, he has such a visceral reaction. He was just a dedicated man who prized duty above himself. Even in those last few hours you can see how much he is committed to a job that the mayors wife easily forgets. Seeing him all around clock town working hard and then realizing how much he was helping Kafei you realize how important the writers wanted to make him. You can get two heart pieces and a mask from him.
All the public employees seem to be forgotten during the last hours. The guards clearly want to leave town but have to stay to uphold their duty. The postman wallows in fear in his house, lamenting the fact that leaving town isn't on the schedule. The mayor of Clock Town is wishy washy and indecisive, and his lack of leadership indirectly causes the deaths of his staff, who are clearly more dedicated to their duties than their boss. Really sad when you think about it.
I remember coming out of the Temple of Time as adult Link and being absolutely stunned by the desolation. The heck of it was, I was a grown man by that time. Good job, Nintendo.
Are you talking about the legend of Zelda ocarina of time because he does got locked 🔒 out for 7 years wich time passes by and link is grown up over 7 years locked in the temple of time at least until he restored the first temple🤔🙏
OoT Link is the most tragic version of Link. Even though Adult Zelda have her good intentions to send him back to regain his childhood. But the events of Ocarina of Time not only have consequently split into two separate timelines. Thus, Link is never get praised as the hero after two established victories and sacrifices he has made for Hyrule. We need a Zelda game on how he became the Hero's Shade.
the dead Deku butler's son hit me the most...poor little boy at the wrong time, at the wrong place. 😔 the ending of Link's Awakening, gave me mixed feelings - i mean, you wake up and get back, but the whole island + inhabitants just disappear... in Majora's Mask, there are many dark/sad/creepy moments... One of the saddest for me, is when Anju and Kafei finally meet again and build the Lovers Mask.. But after that, they decide to welcome the morning, which means they stay together, while the moon is going to devour everything, including them 😢
That thumbnail! Oh my! That reminds me of that jumpscare before that boss fight, it caught me off guard the first time I watched it, made me jump to my seat.
In my case, I was really traumatized. Even if I defeated her, I couldn't sleep at night for 2 weeks and I was afraid of looking at a mirror because I though Blizzeta's reflection was going to appear instead of my own.
Link’s Awakening’s ending is like waking from an awesome dream. Link is mutual dreaming with the wind fish and in order to escape from his comatose dream (the lightning could have easily put Link into a coma), he has to get help from the wind fish. When he realizes he is in a dream rather than an actual island, it hits him hard knowing once he awakens the wind fish, he will also wake up. It is always hard waking from an awesome dream. Marin was actually a seagull also mutual dreaming with the 2. In some games, seagulls are guides for Link. If you play the remake, they make it very obvious with which is the real world and which is the dream world. The real world is anime which the dream world is toy like.
I've played thourgh Ocarina of time and Majoras mask and there were indeed dark elements in them, I'm already in Twilight Princess and I can tell it's already darker
#1 Darkest Zelda moments... Back then having to return the game to the rental store before completing the game... I'm looking at you Blockbuster and Hollywood Video!
If you go to one of the bridges in botw you go on the edge and if a traveler sees you about to jump in the water he’ll tell you “stop you have so much to live for “
'So many pathetic creatures, scattered across a handful of islands, drifting on this sea like fallen leaves on a forgotten pool... What they can possibly hope to achieve? Don't you see? All of you... YOUR GODS DESTROYED YOU!' -Ganondorf, Wind Waker
God finding them in the forest temple and shadow temple u have no idea just where they are that certain noise u hear through when they drop for Any one who's played these games like me your know exactly what i mean even some in the spirit temple
While not the only "kids game" that pulls a jumpscare out of nowhere, I found Blizzeta to be a bit too much. As an adult, the jumpscare was somewhat expected due to the camera close-up, the darkening, and the music stoping, but even then I got caught by surprise. Now imagine children who are not expecting it at all and usualy get scared by "soft" jumpscares.
Twilight princess has always been my fav game since 2006 on the gcn not just my fav zelda game but fav game of all time and it always will be Oracle of ages is my 2nd lol And ever since the HD version came out skyward sword is my 3rd...hd remake was so much better than the original
For me one of the darkest moments was Kakariko Village in Twilight Princess Just Getting there and listening to Barnes talk and realizing you were too late to save the village Like damn that’s dark Also the whole thing with the zora queen being executed in front of her people as “an example”

Yeah Link sacrifices Zelda and hyrule was a whole
We honestly need another zelda game with more dark elements like how they had from twilight princess and majora's mask
Mayors mask, yes the mayor was elected because of his awesome mask
Ah yes The Mayors Mask.
@@rafaynoman1180 it auto corrected the spelling but ty for the laughs loooool
Yes we do!!!!
Okay edgy tweens like games like that. Go play D&D.
ghirahim was hilarious. "i went easy on you last time, but now i'm going to give you a ruddy good thrashing!"
Why do I feel like getting a restraining order against him?😆
@@LunaP1 why? Link's the one following HIM.

I love when Mojo plays talks about Legend of Zelda. The best franchise
They dont know sht about Zelda lol Just highlighting what's already been posted for more than a decade.
There are so many better Zelda centric channels if you want good Zelda material.
Try Zeltic or Monster Maze
@@Savage-- zeltic is 👍, I like more Zelda master

I’d love for Majora or Ghirahim/Demise to make a come back in another game. The Ganon stuff gets repetitive
What about Vaati?
I remember coming out of the Temple of Time as adult Link and being absolutely stunned by the desolation. The heck of it was, I was a grown man by that time.

the sages in wind waker explaining to link how Ganondorf murdered them to disable the master sword's true power is super dark in a pretty light game
Along with finding that Greatfish Isle was destroyed...
I’m surprised those two Age of Calamity scenes weren’t included. The scene where Astor absorbs the souls of the Yiga as well as Astor’s death.
I think it is because age of calamity isn’t Canon
@@Tiiiisslovesyou, I’m still mixed on that.

I literally did the Deku Butlers side-quest yesterday.

Someone has been naughty in that Link's Awakening playtrough 🤣
Yeah lol
I've done that too.😈
@@LunaP1 me too in DX just for the picture 🤣
Twilight Princess is the best game ever made.
Agreed
Not even the best zelda
What’s your favorite?

When Nintendo's biggest franchise, Mario, is a bit scared of going dark, leave it to the next-biggest one, Zelda, to get the job done!
Link’s Awakening’s ending is like waking from an awesome dream. Link is mutual dreaming with the wind fish and in order to escape from his comatose dream (the lightning could have easily put Link into a coma), he has to get help from the wind fish. The kid that plays the flute in “Link to the Past” turning into wood in the Dark World made me sad as a kid.
the number 1 spot always scared me straight! With the popular movies at the time like Armagedón and deep impact
Johnny: Number 2, Yeta’s sickness.
Yeta: sorry…I have sickness.
Can you do the 10 Darkest moments in Sonic Games?
I've played thourgh Ocarina of time and Majoras mask and there were indeed dark elements in them, I'm already in Twilight Princess and I can tell it's already darker
These aren't even dark, I can see them just fine!
Cool Dark Video!
Twilight Princess was literally the darkest. had to adjust the contrast on my TV to see everything 😅
What about ganondorfs literal execution in TP?
Upside down Links in TP takes the win for sure!
#1 Darkest Zelda moments...
Back then having to return the game to the rental store before completing the game... I'm looking at you Blockbuster and Hollywood Video!
Yeta becoming Blizzeta. That jump scare when she says no take mirror, turns around with those hellish red eyes, and creepy smile. Yikes!
If you go to one of the bridges in botw you go on the edge and if a traveler sees you about to jump in the water he’ll tell you “stop you have so much to live for “
In links awakening, Marin makes it out as a seagull if you beat the game without dying
tbh I thought that on number one spot will by "all majoras mask events"
'So many pathetic creatures, scattered across a handful of islands, drifting on this sea like fallen leaves on a forgotten pool... What they can possibly hope to achieve? Don't you see? All of you... YOUR GODS DESTROYED YOU!' -Ganondorf, Wind Waker
You forgot spirit tracks, because the soul of Zelda was brutally extracted from her body.
I would mostly say the ressurection of Malladus. The way he opened his eyes from Zelda's body was a bit creepy.
The Deku Butler gets me every time. It’s just a sting you know.
I had nightmares about the wall masters coming down from the ceiling as a kid.
God finding them in the forest temple and shadow temple u have no idea just where they are that certain noise u hear through when they drop for Any one who's played these games like me your know exactly what i mean even some in the spirit temple

Watching Zelda giving her powers to Midna then seeing her just disappear. Then both Link and Midna just stare at the direction where Zelda once stand.
That’s one terrifying thumbnail you have right there.
Pokémon and legend of Zelda would always have one of the scariest jump scares
Twilight princess has always been my fav game since 2006 on the gcn not just my fav zelda game but fav game of all time and it always will be
Oracle of ages is my 2nd lol

Just
Getting there and listening to Barnes talk and realizing you were too late to save the village
Like damn that’s dark
Also the whole thing with the zora queen being executed in front of her people as “an example”
Also Ganondorf straight up murders a man on screen
Romani ranch is such a depressing place to be at the final hours.
Can't believe that the korok forest was in ocarina of time. Im still trying to find it tho
Yeta reminded me of Bilbo in that one scene from Fellowship of the Ring
One thing about Yeta is the fact that her arms are nowhere.
No, I don't think I will.
hi nice vid
I am playing through the Ocarina of Time for the first time right now.
10 creepiest Zelda enemies plz?
Is this the narrator's first video, could really tell he was reading the whole time.
Guys why did you have to pick THAT thumbnail? It’s already traumatizing enough. 😂😂😂😂
It was traumatizing for me when I was younger, but now I got used to it.
@@samyb4566 Lucky. It still terrifies me.
There is Breath of The Wild with the Blood Moon, mainly the first encounter with it
Good video
Interesting but the only part not explained in ocarina of time(the legend of Zelda)is what happened to his real father🤔
Did you forget about the Great Calamity from Breath of the Wild!?
maybe romani was given alcohol so she passes out into peaceful oblivion in complete ignorance of the literal face of the apocalypse.
The twilight mirror 🪞 is cursed
On what was that majora's mask at the end that is not n64 or the 3ds whattt is ittt
Looks like someone wasnt rich in Link's awakening 😂
1) Cremia and the aliens, 2) girl with her mummy father (Majoras Mask)
Just watch the video with the creepiest moments ;)
I also did a darkest Zelda moments list years ago
How about in Ocarina the guard at Hyrule castle who dies in the alley the day after Ganon's attack
I thought Majoras Mask little girl caring for her Zombie dad would be here.
Ocarina of time remains the creepiest zelda game
End of the World - Majora's Mask
The Great Flood
Romani Ranch Invaders
King Zora and Mido loosing Ruto and Saria
Kefaes appearance
9:29 - Kokiri, not korok forest. Wrong game
We all know that Hilda is best princess
I’m here cause of the creepy thumbnail
0:10 Zelda should definitely file for sexual harassment. Dark!
well.... this was depressing :(
MOJO plays is a good channel
Kokiri not korok 🤔
Yeta jumpscare nightmare Freddy evil link jumpscare from Twilight princess golden Freddy jumpscare
Sweet Sassy Mo-lassey!
3rd!
Thanks for the thumbail dude 👎
Im sorry people.... Im sorry... But there are only two zelda games! Ocarina of Time & Majoras Mask
🤣 hell no, TP is king! Followed by SS and WW.
BOTW literally makes those games fall
