@Raj To travel all the way from home town to jalandhar(LPU) and getting a degree from LPU isn't worth it(my opinion about LPU) if you are intended to do PhD abroad......
I passed lpu 2 years ago and the experience was Good. I have done B.sc. Designing and most of the faculties were great at their work. They treated us equally and with respect.

As a LPU alumni, I have been working in Middle East since past 5 years now. It depends on yourself a lot how you utilize the facilities and exposure provided by this University.
I still remember & treasure the wonderful memories of the campus life 2010-14 batch, Mechanical Engineering.

@@madanikanagaraj I cannot disclose that but I work in an Oil and Gas company and the package is in the range of 25-30 Lakhs in Inr.
Middle East has no income tax, so that's a relief for anyone who wants to work in countries like UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar etc.

In 2015 I placed in cognizent that time average package was 3 LPA and I suggest cse students ke liye acche placements hai meanwhile during your study you can learn some courses like machine learning AI data science do some certification and also during study work on some freelance projects it all was not available at my time or I was not aware but it will easily provide you package of 12-15 lpa after 1 year of lpu

Lpu is not so good, they just market themselves like they are the best, but its not a good place to be, Lpu just know how to do bussiness; and they are incredibly good at that. But reality strikes once you spend one semester

I seriously don't understand how people say it is fun in LPU. no doubt the university is good is terms of infrastructure, facilities etc but if we consider the schedule, it is just so busy. We literally have no life other than the academics. Honestly if you are joining thinking that it is all fun, you are so wrong. So please don't take LPU as just a place to enjoy, and simply the thumbnail of this video has no meaning.

No AC , no good furniture, no luxurious mattress

Dekho guys I am pursuing B. Des(bachelor in design) from lpu just because I wasn't able to crack nift so yes lpu wasn't my first preference but the faculty is pretty great and we do work our ass off to maintain our cgpa, but kahi aese bhi bacche hai Jo class mein nahi aata they do the bare minimum but get promoted, the facilities provided are decent and there are mixed personalities in here.
P. S- aap aakar maze karenge to Zindagi bhi apki maze lega, but agar aap saare facilities ka faida uthayenge and be efficient in your college years to sab changa jayega.

What are package in b.des
Trust me it's too much overrated. You'll have a really hectic schedule which will not give you time for self study due to which your chances to crack higher packages will reduce. It's good for those who are satisfied with 3-3.5 lpa job or want to spend time in just co-curricular activities. Expensive hostels, bad food quality in mess, worst management. Their marketing team keeps on removing negative reviews from the Internet.

lpu is very costly only outside scenery is good if anyone want to come here for studies then
you must know there examination system is not good many students who are frustated due to lack of money or some other reasons were forced to quit there studies , there are many events going here which demand money and they are not very worthy ,single seater room cost rupees 1,90,000 ,normal courses fees is rupees 90,000 per semester cost of food in mess is 30000 rupees and quality is not very good ,even if u eat in food court they charge high amount and give poor quality , also the studies here is mainly theory no one knows technical about projects , u have to see you tube for these stuff , personally i have terrible expirience being at lpu , yet if u want to come here its only waste of time and ur parents money , if u are looking for placement then the only thing that will matter is your skill on field like coding ,company are ready to give u the job, better prefer some other collage or graduate with bsc degree and increase ur skill in coding or other subjects regarding to ur field this way u can even land to ur dream company or can build ur own startup

I am 2nd year student of lpu. He told agr life k mje lene ho to lpu jaao but it's wrong. After taking addmission your exams is only mcq based. Study too hard. Fully English environment. All type of skills like soft skills or technical skills lpu gives to every student. If you want to learn a new things then you can come in lpu.Its placement 60 to 70 percent it's right because not every student Learn everything.if you want good package or special package to others so you have to learn skills different from others.

Study is lpu is good but it's depends what course you have opted, placement is not available for all, they don't pay their employees on time ( almost year they don't). And yes some studies pressure is lot.

I am a student of lpu. for placement we get chance to go upto 14lacs but due to mass admission in lpu lots of student have cgpa less than 5 and 7 is minimum requirement. So, I don't know whome to blame. As my lots friends are above 10lpa and some are less than 5 lpa. So.. I am confused.....

Your placement data was right but thing is that few students don't opt for placement they prefer govt jobs and higher studies so that is the thing and for last 2 yrs I as an alumni and few of my juniors got 2 3 offers so it's not like it is boosted totally , yes ofcourse few are but highest we have seen 60 lpa and many of friends got more that 6lpa and many of 15 to 20 lpa
Bro I need a suggestion, I didn't do well in Jee mains and I don't want to drop for 2nd year now. I'm considering LPU as some of my friends suggested me to join. I want CSE branch. I estimated about 16 lakh for 4 years(including hostel+mess). Is it worth ? Also I checked other private universities they are charging way more than LPU and also admissions for this year are about to close so I need to decide very soon. Can you help me ?

LPU mail came to me on August 25 showing highest package 3 crore( Matlab sari iits aur bits,javapur,dtu,nsut/nsit,nit trichy(top nits) sab fail😄🤣😂 ye private colleges bhi acha joke marte Hai( mujhe iiest shibpur aerospace, nit durgapur ee aur dtu mein mechanical mil rhi Hai jee advanced ka result aane do iit mein mechanical bhi milegi. But after seeing mail I thought 😕 we all students who are getting iits,iiits,nits,bits,nsit, dtu should take admission into lpu( just joking but seriously the way these private colleges advertise they think that we are donkeys that will believe their fake advertisements.
He got off campus placement and he is in Germany so 3cr in Germany is like 1cr in India
