You missed to say one more important point about BITS that is Practice School (PS) system. Here students are required to do 2 internships compulsorily as part of the curriculum which has credits. While the first internship (PS-1) which is during the summer break after 4th semester is just a namesake internship for 5 credits and ppl just do it because it is pre-requisite for the second internship (PS-2), the PS-2 is a game changer for many students here. PS-2 is done by students during 4th year as a 20 credit course (either in 7th or 8th semester as per wish of the student), and ppl get to do actual internships in good roles in good companies. The major catch here is students don't have to give any interviews for getting these internships, we just get the companies allotted according to our interests and profile (we should provide preference order for each company and according to our relevant courses, overall profile and CGPA, our PS division allots company for us). Here in these internships, BITS students who got internship through the PS system has likely chances of getting a PPO as any other college student. The PPO conversion chances have also been really high over the years. If the student wants to do higher studies only and not interested in internship/placement, then also BITS gives provision for these students to convert the PS into a Thesis course where student is allowed to do research projects under a professor either within campus or any other university in the world (most students taking thesis go for off-campus thesis in foreign universities). But the problem is you have to find the thesis opportunity by yourself by mailing/ reaching out to different professors.

I am from BITS Pilani, very well spoken but here are couple of corrections: 1. BITSOM (Mumbai) isn't considered part of the BITS Pilani chain, same for Dubai campus (you don't get the same degree as Pilani, Goa, Hyd). 2. Fees calculation is fine, but actually BITS inflates even more than they say (have analysed past 5 year trends), Single will come to 30L and Dual close to 35L instead. 3. Scholarship isn't that hard honestly, I was constantly in 80% scholarship, last semesters dropped to 40% (because I didn't care about scholarships as had side hustles). 4. Highest package ka data galat hai kyunki BITS directly nahi btata hai, its above 1cr+ (offshore), and average 2023 (22 graduating batch) mein bohot zyada tha, around 24-26L expect krskte ho in general (wo bhi only CSE mein), ye saal its bad actually!

There appears to be a huge difference in the median package between 22 and 23 because the 23 stats are only for semester 1, only 50% of students have been placed and mostly high paying companies appear in semester 1. After combining results of semesters 1 and 2 the median will be close to last year's one or lower due to recession around the globe.

Being from a financially challenged family, not being a child of a BITS staff member (who gets admission but not guaranteed branch of study), and this was the only institute I applied to, I consider myself lucky to have been selected for admission. Hi Ritik sir, I have the SRMJEEE exam and got a good rank (2.5k) and on 29th April was the choice filling, I chose CSE in the main KTR campus and from your older video I remember seeing the fee would be 2.5 Lakhs per year (excluding hostel) and I would get 25% scholarship according to the screenshot you put in that video but I was quoted 4.5 Lakhs per year without any scholarship. Is it worth it considering that I am from a middle class family.... 6 lakhs per year for CSE from srm KTR is it worth it? please reply soon as I have only 4 more days to pay for the registration fee before I lose my seat
Bro don’t take SRM . It has 10000 + students in CSE branch only . During Placements…. All the students from all campuses of SRM sit in the main KTR campus . So it’s average package is 4-5 LPA only . I suggest try in AKTU Lucknow counselling and GGSIPU Delhi counselling. Their top 5 private colleges are very very good and are located in Delhi -NCR So they have location advantage.

Hi I am studying at Bits HYD, Scholarships are easy to get if your income lies below 12LPA, if you study decently you will end up getting 40% scholarship.Also the mess and hostel fees is cheaper than NITS.This years placement stats of Bits HYD are really good. even during recession AVG OF -CSE ~30,ECE~28.7,EEE~26.5,ENI~26 its actually better than top NITS and Alot IITS so its great ROI.

I am in BITS Goa now what I want to say after watching u r video is that anyone can have scholarship in bits it's really easy and actually merit cum need scholarship is easiest and best to claim it's just one criteria that u r income shld be below 12lpa and if u want loan process is toooo easy sbi is official partner of bits and taking a loan of 30Lpa even if u don't have any property is no prblm almost eveeryone takes a loan irrespective of their branch so bits is worth it

Hi Ritik sir, I have the SRMJEEE exam and got a good rank (2.5k) and on 29th April was the choice filling, I chose CSE in the main KTR campus and from your older video I remember seeing the fee would be 2.5 Lakhs per year (excluding hostel) and I would get 25% scholarship according to the screenshot you put in that video but I was quoted 4.5 Lakhs per year without any scholarship. Is it worth it considering that I am from a middle class family.... 6 lakhs per year for CSE from srm KTR is it worth it? please reply soon as I have only 4 more days to pay for the registration fee before I lose my seat
Bro don’t take SRM . It has 10000 + students in CSE branch only . During Placements…. All the students from all campuses of SRM sit in the main KTR campus . So it’s average package is 4-5 LPA only . I suggest try in AKTU Lucknow counselling and GGSIPU Delhi counselling. Their top 5 private colleges are very very good and are located in Delhi -NCR So they have location advantage.
