dire you can do vampirism without becoming a vampire again, you can play through vampirism without becoming a vampire. you never need to become a vampire throughout one of the progressions in vampirism. you can become a vampire hunter instead

Sleep in a coffin to make it night time :) The molten heart is part of introduction quest line for lava cows...It works well with the Rancher for infinite lava. I have been using Mystical Ag for cobble/stone/sand/dirt...etc.. Look at black hole storage, it is cheap.
i loved betweenlands but i'm really afraid you'll miss one of the coolest parts of it; the alchemy system (herblore), please research about it because it's somewhat like thaumcraft but for potions, it's just amazing and you will miss it if you don't research a bit about it

Do you know what mod has an op crop growth tool that is really easy to use and he has even already used? Mystical agriculture. I don't care what he does but when i see him starting a mod he has done heavily 3 times in the last 5 pack now making it 4 in 6... its not even that he has never done the crop growth before. I just want to see something new not something we just saw. Can he please just make a ton of the growth blocks from mystical and be done with it rather than going 5 episodes deep into astral seeing the same thing we see every time he does astral. Dire at 38:01 there is literally some of the astral starlight field on your house. You can't see it from the sky you have to roam near the ground to see it.
Do yourself a favour, it will take 5 mins. Get the amulet slot from betweenlands in your hand, right click it twice to open up another 2 slots & put it in your inventory. Then make 3 amulets with the socket & reed rope & combine them with the 3 middle gems, RGB. Hit the amulet slot hotkey, think it's divide by default & equip them, if you have the ring of power equip that also, the ring uses xp not the amulet, that's it, you can see at the side of your hotbar if there all equipped & hit f5 to see them rotatating around you, lasts untill death, then rinse & repeat, doesn't affect your armour it's a personal buff.
36:30 -- There was the PERFECT spot right by your base with dense starlight and you flew right over it, haha. It was right at the bottom of the screen juuust as you pulled up the Fosic Resonator.

I find the automated user from Cyclic is the best harvester. It doesn't collect (Ranged/Vacuum of your choice works), but it will harvest a 19x19 area instantly.
Tbh I'm more concerned about you enjoying what you're doing anyway. I loved watching you explore the Betweenlands, but it was so clear that you were really enjoying yourself, and watching a Minecrafter have fun is delightful in itself

It's a nasty spiral that I've seen happen to several content creators throughout the years. #1 Content Creator does something some viewers want but CC is not having fun doing it. #2 Most viewers sense it, which in turn cause them to not enjoy the content. #3 Viewers leave, causing CC to do more things some of his viewers want but doesn't necessarily enjoy himself. #4 Repeat #2 and #3. The good thing is that Dire knows this in his almost a decade of experience of doing RUclips stuff so I'm not worried.

Dire, you can use cyclic's anvils ( magma and diamond iirc ) to repair items using lava and energy respectively, you can also use them to repair that cyclic charm you have. Also there's one of those Astral Sorcery blue mist things next to that structure at 36:34 :)
a quick thing get yourself a golden heart, it constantly repairs your gear so you only need to repair a single item ... it will never fully break as well
There is always the option of becoming a vampire and using a coffin to turn the day into night- and if you want to undo the vampirism you could find and “borrow” a cleansing ritual and undo the effects after you are done with being a vampire.
hey dire, for part of the cobbleworks - you know liquid starlight, when it meets with lava, makes sand, right? you can use that with a block-breaker or similar to get unlimited sand (and occasionally aquamarines!)
Please for the love of all that is holy, go into a test world and at least try the Cyclic Inventory and Crafting Upgrades and THEN tell us exactly why you do or do not like them. Should take you 5 minutes. Or you know, do a Mod Spotlight on Cyclic like you have been saying for actual YEARS now. Your Mod Spotlights was one of the reasons that I started following you to begin with but you have not done one in so so long. And no, your own mod doesn't count.
The inventory one isn't the greatest since there are Backpacks, Enderpacks, EnderChest, Bags of Holding, and etc. But the crafting table cookie and the step apple are both amazingly useful. Really he should at least try those since he has the resources and can just revert by eating another. Then there is the charm from Cyclic that adds speed.
@@roberthill5805 I actually like the Inventory one the best as it maintains inventory even after you die. With the tombstone mod in this pack allowing you to teleport to your grave, it is not as important. But I normally keep things like a jetpack and the like in there as it allows you to get back quickly.

But I do have to agree, it is incredibly useful especially with the rapid swap of hotbars for building, exploration, and so on. I think he should try it as it isn't a bad thing at all and just adds more space to use. I'm just stating that there are other options. My current play through I actually found the cookie right off the bat and then the cake in a dungeon tower.
@@roberthill5805 The step one is good on its own. However, this pack has Construct's Armory, which allows you to step up 2 blocks, and the step apple conflicts with it. Also, the leveling system in inventory also has a step up skill you can use.

The way I've been farming for rediculous amounts of mystical agriculture drops is 1. 9x9 farm using actually additions worms to till and hydrate soil 2. Actually additions farmer with speed upgraded enderio conduit pumping into a crate 3. agricraft crop sticks 4. maxed out crop tick acceleration in both LevelUp Reloaded and whatever mod adds the skill tree found in your inventory 5. supremium watering can In the time it takes me to get a single seed to spread across the 9x9, I get about 6-7 stacks of essence. I can afk there and let passive tick acceleration do its thing, or use the watering can and time in a bottle the farmer for faster production. Even leaving it alone it took maybe 3 hours or so to fill up a double crate of inferium essence

You might want to get the 3 amulets and the Lurker Skin Pouch from the Betweenlands. Decent buffs and an upgradable little pack that can be worn on your player to not take inventory space.
I liked the last few episodes. I enjoy seeing the progression through a new or buggy mod and hearing your thoughts and reasons(Dire always has reasons) why it's buggy and how to resolve the issue . I don't like heavily edited video (Yes even mining and derping and rehashing,especially complicated mods,). Don't forget we have been here for years, the ones who are easily bored went to other games. The yogscast has another mostly unedited raw stream channels (Jingle Jam , D&D type games,Civ., general Twitch streams, etc.) You could just throw them raw or slightly edited with a disclaimer that its unedited. If you put your Twitch content on you would only have to worry about music copyrights. Well that's my 3 1/2¢s (inflation) keep up the good work most of us know,and appreciate, how much effort you put in your content. P. S. the direct contact and content with mod authors (even Soaryn) is informative, entertaining and insightful . Thanks.
Without Blood Magic, you can sleep in a Coffin until nightfall. However, you can only sleep in a Coffin as a Vampire, so be sure you want to go down that route before taking it.
You should find a stymphalian bird, from ice and fire i believe, and capture it with a mob imprisonment tool, they drop copper, iron and bronze when killed, so you can make a copper, iron and bronze farm with the mob duplicator

45 minute episode, watch it in 3 minutes because every time I move forward it's pitch black. I'm considering dropping this series. If it gonna look into mine colonies then you should have a large(like a large area) dedicated to it cuz most of the builds are super big when upgraded to lvl 5 building
39:45 Dire, you are supposed to flatten the curve of the spread of the Corona Virus and not the terrain. Seriously every time you make it flat like earth ánd it looks soo incredibly ugly and boring. I know Astral needs quite some space, but other places also have good and high spaces.
I have a question not about the videos but about the pack. I'm playing MC Eternal too. I made a mob spawning area with cursed earth. Vampires and rats were spawning and having their drops collected but nothing else. I put in a Foregoing mob spawner with a blaze mob capture thing, and no blaze rods or powder collected. I tried an EnderIO powered spawner with a Tuba Enderman - no ender pearls. So I stood around and watched. What I saw was regular mobs like creepers and zombies and endermens spawning, but they all disappeared immediately - within a frame or two. They just flashed and were gone, without being killed by the mob collector. Does anyone have any ideas why? Biome? Some weird setting? Something the pack does that I didn't read about? How does Direwolf have his cursed earth working with a Foregoing mob collector and spawner, but mine doesn't? I spent an hour googling and found nothing about this.
day 2 of telling dire that the only change the inventory cake is a small button along the top of his inventory (not unlike the chest sorting buttons from cyclic), and nothing that really afffects the ui as it is or anything that is at all in trusive
@@TheDarkKillerGR you dont know that. like really, its impossible to know whether or not he'd see any individual comment. like it or not, comments are our main way of communicating with him what we want to see. perhaps one comment might go missed, one time, but multiple comments (ideally by multiple people) will be seen. it costs me nothing, and theres a chance dire would see it and do something that would be really neat to see, so theres not much reason not to do it
Just saying you could make a aquamarine/sand generator... Make a cobble Gen but instead of water use starlight.... You could even put a 2 deep whole under it with a vacuum hopper and it will just fall and break.

He’s definitely flying too fast. Also, there’s a component of confirmation bias, he only remembers ghasts not spawning when he’s trying to find ghasts.

The way I've been farming for rediculous amounts of mystical agriculture drops is
1. 9x9 farm using actually additions worms to till and hydrate soil
2. Actually additions farmer with speed upgraded enderio conduit pumping into a crate
3. agricraft crop sticks
4. maxed out crop tick acceleration in both LevelUp Reloaded and whatever mod adds the skill tree found in your inventory
5. supremium watering can
In the time it takes me to get a single seed to spread across the 9x9, I get about 6-7 stacks of essence. I can afk there and let passive tick acceleration do its thing, or use the watering can and time in a bottle the farmer for faster production. Even leaving it alone it took maybe 3 hours or so to fill up a double crate of inferium essence
That looks fun. Have you tried doing it with the creative watering can? I wonder if it would be faster.
@@macwinux4787 havent unlocked that one yet, unfortunately. Never got a mob farm up so no good way to pump in the Exp. Only had so much thanks to a triple xp gain enchanted pick +mining xp gain skilltree
You should make an inverted pyramid above your base for Astral sorcery

Decent buffs and an upgradable little pack that can be worn on your player to not take inventory space.

My big issue with Astral, at least for me personally, is that I can't pick out the star patterns with my eyesight. So it's kind of impossible

I liked the last few episodes. I enjoy seeing the progression through a new or buggy mod and hearing your thoughts and reasons(Dire always has reasons) why it's buggy and how to resolve the issue . I don't like heavily edited video (Yes even mining and derping and rehashing,especially complicated mods,).

The yogscast has another mostly unedited raw stream channels (Jingle Jam , D&D type games,Civ., general Twitch streams, etc.)
You could just throw them raw or slightly edited with a disclaimer that its unedited.
If you put your Twitch content on you would only have to worry about music copyrights.

2 things, make a diamond anvil repairer, it uses Ed and only Ed to repair items and it’s much faster, also, make superior or supremium armor and tools

Without Blood Magic, you can sleep in a Coffin until nightfall. However, you can only sleep in a Coffin as a Vampire, so be sure you want to go down that route before taking it.

You should find a stymphalian bird, from ice and fire i believe, and capture it with a mob imprisonment tool, they drop copper, iron and bronze when killed, so you can make a copper, iron and bronze farm with the mob duplicator

Rock crystal ore flowers are worth it to feed rock crystal to your lightwells.
You can't automate the proecess of getting the crystak out of the ore

45 minute episode, watch it in 3 minutes because every time I move forward it's pitch black. I'm considering dropping this series. Betweenlands was kinda fun even if frustrating thanks to youtuber blindness, but I'm tired of having a black screen on. Also I don't feel like watching his badly semi-automated crystal grower for the n-th time.

You can get instant damage arrows from the Old Quivers that drop from mobs, and those will do even more damage with your bow!
I have a question not about the videos but about the pack. I'm playing MC
Eternal too. I made a mob spawning area with cursed earth. Vampires and rats were spawning and having their drops collected but nothing else. I put in a Foregoing mob spawner with a blaze mob capture thing, and no blaze rods or powder collected. I tried an EnderIO powered spawner with a Tuba Enderman - no ender pearls. So I stood around and watched. What I saw was regular mobs like creepers and zombies and endermens spawning, but they all disappeared immediately - within a frame or two. They just flashed and were gone, without being killed by the mob collector.
Does anyone have any ideas why? Biome? Some weird setting? Something the pack does that I didn't read about? How does Direwolf have his cursed earth working with a Foregoing mob collector and spawner, but mine doesn't? I spent an hour googling and found nothing about this.
That's weird, I haven't encountered that myself. Have you tried creating a test world and see if that happens there?
day 2 of telling dire that the only change the inventory cake is a small button along the top of his inventory (not unlike the chest sorting buttons from cyclic), and nothing that really afffects the ui as it is or anything that is at all in trusive

like it or not, comments are our main way of communicating with him what we want to see. perhaps one comment might go missed, one time, but multiple comments (ideally by multiple people) will be seen.

Just saying you could make a aquamarine/sand generator... Make a cobble Gen but instead of water use starlight.... You could even put a 2 deep whole under it with a vacuum hopper and it will just fall and break.
