6:40 fun fact: most loader mods (I think including krastorio 2) don't use the vanilla loader and instead use a very fast inserter, because somehow that performs better than the vanilla loader. This is also why it's only 1 block tall instead of 2.

Lathland makes videos like this for Stellaris runs and I always try to like and interact with them so youtube rates them just that little bit higher. Great video! I hope you do more in the future.
Be prepared for long games. My games typically last 2-3 days until I get the rocket launched and consider that game done. That's 2-3 days of play-time, spread over a week or two of real time.
Great work! I played through the 1st KRASTORIO and loved it as well as a few others, finally finishing it up with a full play through of pyanodons alien life + high-tech pack. Took about 10 months(server had ~4K hours) and I was a little burned out. Might have to give this one a try.
Good facorio players are one of my favorite things to watch. Plus you have a good sense of humor and voice for this. Very enjoyable, happily waiting for your next! :)

I didn't know about Shazam back then, and had since long forgotten about that song, but you helped me actually find what it was beyond a distant memory
Your dunning kruger is showing. Matter is not constrained by state but by existence. Fluids are simply matter that expands to fill the system they are constrained in. Matter =/= fluid. Fluid is simply a state of being. If your "brain is wrecked" by a goofy comment, maybe study better subjects that are more in line with your... acumen.
@@JgHaverty "this wrecked my brain" was just hyperbole, the statement was just contradictory in a unique way. but i appreciate your input! it's good to help try and explain things to people who don't get it. though, i'd hope you'd be more kind to strangers in the future.
The Biolab is underrated. If you're running the Ruins mod, plus its Krastorio expansion, you can actually get a very small amount of creep just by exploring, without having to fight. If you, like me, love exploring but hate fighting, you can eventually explore enough to get the creep needed for your first biolab, and play a whole game without having to fight!
There is a setting for Krastorio to change the Military Science Card ingredients require no biomass, so you can still research everything with biters turned off.
Holy shit the quality of this video for such a small channel is insane. You definitely deserve more views, likes, comments, subs, etc., seriously talented!
This is a pretty cool mod, maybe it would be fun to see it alongside some mods that add more biters and threats so you can use those new weapons. Good video mate, love your voice
Loving the videos, they've got me back into playing both Factorio and Dyson Sphere Program which I heavily reccomend and would love to see you play because its 3d element leads to some completely insane setups that have led to me building a 3x3 conveyor bus that I'm probably gonna have to make even taller by the end of it.
Well technichally 3x3xlength of bus. Basically a 3 wide row of conveyors since thats how far inserters can reach that then has another two rows of three on top of it, whenever I need something from the upper parts I have an inserter take it off and then place it onto a spiral conveyor that brings in to the ground for my assemblers. I really wish the game had more planetary logistics than conveyors and really simple drones, maybe theres a mod for that but for the time being the triple decker bus is serving me well.
You’re doin real good with the content, just gotta keep it churning. The long form is so nice to just be able to sit with and watch for an hour or so. Keep it up!
I fricking love your videos, keep up the work and I hope the best for you and your channel. I watched every one of them to the last minute, you're the factorio youtube I was looking for
Found your factorio vids only a day or two ago. But instantly got hooked on how you do things. Thoroughly enjoying the videos even if all the numbers become gibbrish to me at some point. Keep up the good work.
The reason why most recipes in Krastorio2 are set up to craft in large batches is to save on UPS. The K2 devs knew they would be forcing players to build a significantly bigger factory than the vanilla game, including much more use of fluids, so they made it a point to reduce the amount activity each entity has to do. This is also part of why they included Loaders, which are more calculations-efficient efficient than Inserters, as well as making Warehouses (6x6 chests, to match sizes with Cargo Wagons), among other optimization tricks.
This is god tier content, My man is easily one of the most underrated channels out there. Only if most people nowadays actually had the brains to play these types of games for them to be even recommended to by the algorithm.
I've watched all of your Factorio vids and I just love them I'm a huge fan of Factorio but I don't want to watch 900 hours of let's plays that never end This is just the perfect amount of funny, content and actual Factorio, literally perfect!
after coming back to this video after rewatching it multiple times, i realize the quote at 15:07 "you can use any bad design as long as you call it your starter base" has been a core factor whenever I make decisions in games. So I've gotten pretty good at building starter bases, and struggling to do much besides building starter bases, thanks dosh!
I’m playing space exploration right now, 250 hours in and you just taught me for the first time that you can shift right click the recipes in from an assembly machine to a logistics chest.

Also I didn't know you could copy recipe inputs into requester chests that would've saved me so much effort 😭
Lathland makes videos like this for Stellaris runs and I always try to like and interact with them so youtube rates them just that little bit higher. Great video! I hope you do more in the future.
Used to watch all of his videos then he just stopped showing up one day thank you for reminding me about him
Haven't actually played Factorio yet but watching these videos absolutely makes me want to play
Tbh I've never played factorio or any other similar game nor were ever really interested in them but I still watched the whole video. I understood about 5% yet still was entertained :) keep it up!
The design of your base displays a frighteningly staggering amount of genius and madness
You have single handedly reinvigorated my love for this game and I can’t help but binge your content! Even with them so long they’re just that good. I think you’ve got a great thing going and I hope you for the absolute best and get bigger an bigger you deserve it
In case you missed the BIGGEST tip ever...@33:55 he said to Shift+Right-Click the Assemblers, and Shift+Left-Click into the chest and it will automatically select the ingredients they need for the bots....my mind is blown.
Your videos are the most fun Ive had watching factorio for a while! Thanks for posting these.
I started a save last week with Krastorio 2 and Space Exploration. It's going great.
Absolutely brilliant. Only factorio playthroughs I actually watch. Your voice is relaxing and fits the content wonderfully, and you actually got me back into the game. Keep going you magnificent bastard.
I seriously dont understand how this is so much more entertaining to watch than all the other stuff on RUclips. This is one of those video formats that is simply perfect for no apperant reason
I thank you for putting the name of the kusic you use in your videos. Was able to find an old chiptune from a trainer i used for some game back in like 2007.
Carter - Dead Feelings. I didn't know about Shazam back then, and had since long forgotten about that song, but you helped me actually find what it was beyond a distant memory

"matter is a fluid"
this wrecked my brain from how physics stuff i consume on the internet
Your videos are the only Factorio content I enjoy watching. Heavily edited and digestible, not boring and slow. Great job!
I don't even play this game but damn it that dry humor keeps me coming back
That was surprisingly little suffering. (Py or pure angels + overhauls would be straight up not worth it, I think)
This is, by far, the best advertisement for a mod I've seen in ANY game. I'll be installing it this weekend to try what i've seen. Thank you.
Keep it up!
Quality content, quality effort, long videos and competency on full display. Love your shit, keep going. t. anon
I fricking love your videos, keep up the work and I hope the best for you and your channel. I watched every one of them to the last minute, you're the factorio youtube I was looking for
You have a very "how its made male narrator" voice and it makes this entire video feel incredibly chill.
Great work
Wow this is one of the best factorio gameplay and channel I have discovered so pls aploud more factorio game play
Found your factorio vids only a day or two ago. But instantly got hooked on how you do things. Thoroughly enjoying the videos even if all the numbers become gibbrish to me at some point. Keep up the good work.
This video was great!
Love the dry humor and your voice over. You really condescend the gameplay into interesting chunks. Nice.
Dude, your shit is awesome. Id be down to see you play all sorts of engineering based games. Thanks for the content.
Also, for an easter egg, put a raw fish in the cargo slot of a rocket and then check the item description for the item that comes out as a result.
First Pronunciation of Mechanicus is Low Gothic, Second is High Gothic
I found your channel watched all your Factorio videos and am now addicted to the game again. Thanks
Keep up the great content
This is god tier content, My man is easily one of the most underrated channels out there.
Only if most people nowadays actually had the brains to play these types of games for them to be even recommended to by the algorithm.
I've watched all of your Factorio vids and I just love them
I'm a huge fan of Factorio but I don't want to watch 900 hours of let's plays that never end
This is just the perfect amount of funny, content and actual Factorio, literally perfect!
This man combining the feel of the How It's Made videos with some dry humor and Factorio. Keep it up King.
after coming back to this video after rewatching it multiple times, i realize the quote at 15:07 "you can use any bad design as long as you call it your starter base" has been a core factor whenever I make decisions in games. So I've gotten pretty good at building starter bases, and struggling to do much besides building starter bases, thanks dosh!
you are like a professor who likes teaching but hates school
this is the video that continues to make me want to improve at this game because this type of base building looks so fun to partake in
why am i here again this is my 3rd rewatch
Only your 3rd?
I’m playing space exploration right now, 250 hours in and you just taught me for the first time that you can shift right click the recipes in from an assembly machine to a logistics chest.
can you give us the blueprints used for the train network?
No fucking way. I stumbled upon your channel yesterday and literally watched all 3 of your factorio videos completely through and was wondering when the next one will be. You're a blessing. Love these type of videos.
Keep it up!
I don't know what it is about these Factorio vids. My brain is too mush to understand a lot of the process but its just so damn...hypnotizing to watch.
this has to be your best video, i have watched this multiple times, really enjoyed it. plus i keep comming back to this video multiple times as i am playing K2 + SE rn
It was an incredible quality, Im very very surprised. I was about to recommend you Nullius, but since you mentionned it, it means you know it already. Thanks !
Love the content! Glad the algorithm sent me your way. Good luck growing the channel. Excited to see what’s next!
This is the 3rd vid of yours i have watched, i have been really impressed with your knowledge, dry wit and skill. Thank you x
Got recommended this video and I am loving it. I've watched through the previous videos and I am now subscribed. Good luck on further videos. I am look forward to them.
Krastorio + Space Exploration + Rampant sounds like true pain
deep voices have something so relaxing .. maybe because it was noon and its summer .. but i dozed off 3 times xD
still .. loved the video! it's always a joy to watch people doing something, they're skilled in, especially when you're interested in that thing anyways
You are the only channel I have found that does factorio in this style and I love it. Keep up the good work
You sound like you genuinely had more fun with this pack than most of the other brutal challenge runs I've seen of yours. I struggle with base factorio but watching your runs, I feel like I just need to expand wayyyy more than I typically do
There's a reason "the factory must grow" is the unofficial tagline. If you're trying to play "tall" instead of "wide" in Factorio, you're fucking up.
Watched your last video when it came out some weeks ago and saw this on my recommended. Honestly the sky is the limit for you :) keep producing intriguing and interesting content (so far you're doing phenomenal) and you'll make it!
Just started playing factorio and your base design with all the trains is just… I like it a lot
Wow, great job man! Found your channel recently and really enjoyed all your Factorio videos keep it up!
Can't wait to see what you come out with next. Maybe i'l get to see you destroy angels mod, which i kept trying to pick up when the normal game became a little to easy.
i've been binge watching all your videos, factorio and non-factorio, and i really likre your channel. keep up the really cool work and congrats on 100k
Can't wait to see you hit 100k subs, I am sure you will eventually since these videos are fantastic. The editing, the humour, and the amount of effort you put into every playthrough deserve respect and recognition.
I dont usually watch hour long videos nor comment but have to say this is one of the best factorio vids i have ever seen! And i havent played the game since forever (like 2-3 years back so not really forever but still lol) really looking forward to some more awesome factorio content! I binged watched all the vids and now i need more!
You’re a masterpiece, the videos too but your dedication is beyond me . Please more and PLEASE make a community discord baby
I’m having a very Jousis feel from your narration and I like the way you play! I’m really looking forward to whatever next challenge you tackle in factorio! I loved the previous ones as well!
Love the techpriest skin. Didn't know it existed, and now it's all I'm gonna play with.
pretty sure I subscribed like 2 days ago at 5k, looking back again at this video and you're now at 13k, the algorithm has blessed you. Congratulations
