- Last week I bought a small sports card collection full of basketball, baseball, football and hockey cards. To my surprise, there are tons of rookie cards, autos/relics and parallels.

Just one time, I want to find a collection like this for cheap..great find
The 2 Mahomes Prestige base RCs are about $40-50 each.. the Prestige Passport RC insert is $40-50.. the Contenders Mahomes Passing Grade RC insert is $20-30.. Contenders Mahomes Game Day ticket RC insert is $20-30.. The Kobe Lucky 13 goes for $80-90 raw, the 8.5 grade would make it around $120... the 6.5 Jordan Sticker is around $100.. T.J. Watt Absolute Rookie Reflex RC insert Auto is $60-80.. 2017 Prizm Tyreek Hill Red Power Prizm /49 is about $20.. 2017 National Treasures Albert Pujols Bat /49 is about $10.. The shoes are called Under Armour Curry 1 FlowTro Sour Patch Kids and they go anywhere from $70 up to $120 if you're lucky. Great pick up!

Even after that there were a bunch of $5-$20 cards. There were like 6 TJ Watt Silver Prizm RCs and they sell on average for about $20+
Tyreek Hill prizm probably worth more than 20.
You should triple your money. I was thinking a Mahomes silver was gonna come out w all that 2017.

I know that cards like that 2017 Prizm TJ Watt rookie still maintain $10-$20 values That was ONE FO THE very best weekly pickups that you’ve had in quite a few years!
Hey bud! I'm here watching this recovering from heart surgery. I love the MaHomes rookies, kobe (Black mamba) cards! It's always fun to buy a collection, and just see if you can fine a one of a kind card, or that magic (ty cobb) rookie 😀 with in it. For $200 you really got your money wroth! loved the longer video, could watch for hours.

Great find, man! I bought one of those Jordans when I was getting back in. Bought it on mercari along with like 3 star jordans from 85 and 86. All fakes. Lesson learned. Im glad yours is good. Nice kobe and Robinson too
That second Bregman is the image variation and it's about a $50 card. Very nice find! Lots of gamble but the money is there if you were breaking this out and selling through it. Thanks for sharing.

You got $200 at least in value from the basketball cards in the first box. Looks like fodder for a future auction night.
A couple of Jack Eichel rookies for hockey. Just won the Cup for Vegas. Box is at least $500-$800 in value.
That's how he spelled n said his name u til like 1990-91 I think. I have older Hakeem cards with his name spelled like that.
Jon the Star Wars cards you have there might be something good. I know that they are sought after and can be valuable. Those are originals from 1977

Dude, you got like a thousand bucks from that collection. The Mahomes rookie prestige go for 50 each easy. Check on all those Brady cards. The starwars cards are 1-5 bucks each, could make some nice money on those selling those in lots
Seems like everyone's collection has a few unexpected decent hits. The Mahomes RCs and the TJ Watt rookie auto were some of them out of this collection. 😎👍✌️
Agree, the 2 Mahomes rookies alone, are between 45-60 raw. Was a pretty good deal imo.

Jon you have 4 Mahomes rookie cards. He is THE big name in football...Think Ohtani but for football. The normal Prestige ones are $50-$60+ each and the "passport" rc is $40-$50+ , @26:18 in the video you had another Mahomes rc it's the one that says "Gameday Ticket" Raw that card goes for $25+ BUT! if you get it slabbed and it's centered and a 9 or better it's anywhere from $90 to $125....Just the Mahomes cards you have paid for your box and then some

The Luke skyWalker and Han Solo stickers have some pretty significant value in tip top shape. Especially in high grades. That original Star Wars Sticker set was miscut, not always sticky and just a disaster in general, so finding the main characters in even decent shape is a nice pickup!!! Also that Bergman Bowman Chrome rookie (where he was on the bench) was the image variation. I think those are/were like 1 or 2 per case in Bowman Chrome over the past several years.

those team bags are most likely break winners, and i would make sure and go back and see if there are Connor McDavid rookies. You had a bunch of cards from his rookie year
You went by the KP rookie fast, he played a big role in Boston winning the NBA this year. I would take his cards any day.
Man you skimmed past a bunch of Mahomes rookies and tj watts and I love the 88 fleet basketball cards I’m trying to get the all star set. Good score!
My friend just on the Tyreek Hill you got all your money back you got some great football cards in there you can actually quadruple your money on this by you have incredible cards your brother should be with you scroll through this you can look up the prices
💥 I had a plumber once show up to my house and he was wearing lime green Nikes ….. long story short - he told me each and every time he wears them out in public women come up to him and tell him they love his lime green sneakers !! And this dude was no Brad Pitt !! so I challenge you wear those under Armour sneakers out in public for one Saturday afternoon and see if my plumber was right !!!

Seems like a great buy for $200. Some of those blue bordered (and maybe other colored borders) Star Wars cards may be worth getting graded if they are 8s or better, as well as that Luke Skywalker sticker.
Yoo you passed right over that Christian Mccafrey rush week card. That's atleast $20. He's injured rn, I'd wait until he comes back and has a big game which he eventually will. He's the $1 fantast pick the last couple years probably a future HOF'er if can stay health. Sick Mahomes RC's too.

Man there are like 4-5 cards you should get you $ back on or a profit. This is why I worry about marketplace. I feel like so many of these are picked over. Just scooped up a $50 box from marketplace on Tuesday that the dude was asking $250 for. Scraped a 61' Whitey Ford in good condition and a 64' Tony Oliva RC out of it that should get me my $ back, but the 3rd best card was probably your standard Topps McGwire rookie. Was first time doing that, and not sure if I'd do it again, feel like you are better off just buying the cards you like individually or a few at a time. It is fun as hell looking through it for gold though.
I have that jordan sticker in a beckett 8 and the original in a graded 8 wife bought them both in 2019 for 200 at a comic book store
id like to have that bregman rookie sp. the one sitting on the bench. there's only one on ebay that is graded psa10 for 175. id like to have the raw card for my collection. hadnt seen that card before. i had to stop the video and go look that one up.
Love triangle sports collection. Great price. Too bad about the screwdowns, they damage the integrity of the card by smashing the card thinner.
Fouts Staubach looks like a good card and of course the Jordan. Mahomes are highly desirable.

I remember when Ryan Spooner came to the Oilers. He was a highly touted prospect but didn't turn into much.Pretty bad trade for Oilers as Ryan Strome was the enter player.

That was a good buy for sure, mahomes, tj watt rookies should get you $25 each during football season. Tom brady's, 80s basketball my least favorite but people like it for some reason lol

Some of those showdown cards are worth some coin (not sure on the NFL ones). Found a sealed MLB box (even before the boom) years ago at the thrift and had an ebay bidding war on it. Some of them are either rare or there is a group that plays those games or something.
Those Joe Thomas rookies are pretty valuable if they grade well

If those are shoes are Under Armour SC1's (Steph Curry) "Candy Reign" colorway and they're "dead stock" IE never worn...then he certainly wasn't far off saying they sell for that much. Could definitely get $200 if they're the original 2015 shoe and not the 2022 retro. Used one's sell for about $100 on Ebay.
Interesting tidbit: That Brad Kaaya RC Auto. Did you ever see the movie Friday with Ice Cube and Chris Tucker? Brad Kaaya is the son of the "Crackhead" lady in that movie, actress Angela Means, the one that spawned the meme "Bye Felicia".
