I use to rent a car in the 90s and early 2000 and for 6 weeks tour all of Jamaica,I stop driving in Jamaica after I almost drove into a river off a damn bridge in Ocho Rios,there were no warnings or gate or chains to keep car from going up there
So I slow down and was asking myself where is the road,all am seeing is a body of water up ahead so I just put the car in park and got out,no damn road,just a sudden drop off,no sah,I was done driving
And these man hole in the road sometimes,they are not pot holes,a whole human can fit into one

I have been a to many countries, and each and every one doesn't compare to Jamaica. Many of us have grown accustom to the rat race AKA fast paced living this amount to numerous jobs , lack of sleep, more stress , which leads to poor health at the end of the day..
