I was super ecstatic to see what the chef would be preparing in his outdoor kitchen at Katawud Village, after having dinner the night before. Especially when he mentioned he'd be making coco tea. Trust me, they didn't disappoint on this traditionally done dish.

I just subbed after watching this. I’m from the states and have visited your beautiful country about a dozen times. First few we didn’t try the Jamaican food at the resorts. But now we love it. I adore steamed veg with fish escovitch at breakfast. And my family is from the south. My grannies and aunties used to make cornmeal dodgers in pot likkor to stretch out the meal. Those dumplings looked just like my grannie’s dodgers. Hope to be back soon to Jamaica. Respect and love.

Hey Steven. Another great video. The cocoa reminds me of the drink my late mother-in-law used to make. She was Haitian and I believe the process of making this drink is pretty much the same with probably only a few variations. Your surroundings help set the mood and seeing Tiffany doesn’t hurt. 🤣 All in all a feast for the senses. Thanks again for all you do.
