I don't even have a motorcycle... What am I doing here?
+Mason Ohara because we want one, and then, want to do a wheelie.
me too lol
how to do a whellie
1 DON'T
Mason Ohara lol that made me laugh. It's a sign. You need a motorcycle
see that kids. thats the trues words of a boring normal human beeing!
Dont try impress anyone, do it for yourself. words to live by.
"Even Lamborghini" Yet here I am considering a lambo above all else.
*Moment of silence for those that fallen riders that are no longer with us trying to accomplish this mission*
Do you even ride bro?
Thanks for fixing the economy POTUS.
If they failed, its a sign that they dint deserve to be riders !
ewww
650ib with the help of starting more wars and suffering, yeah thanks o'bomb-them!
Thank you very much double T. Because of your awesome videos, I learned how to wheelie on my R6! I did my first wheelie last week and I'm getting better :)
That's amazing! I'm glad to have helped =)
What do you think of r bikes? should i buy one or should i buy a enduro type bike
For who wants to learn to wheelie, NEVER learn at very low speeds. Reason being... go about 17-22 mph starting. At these speeds, your wheels will act as gyro effect. Keeping a balance. At low speeds you only have body position to maintain your balance. You want them wheels spinning. A quarter won't stand upright on a table. But if you roll that bitch, it'll stand up till it slows below the gyro effect it needs to balance it's own weight. Good luck.
MrLeon - Competitive CS:GO & more get a dual sport if you want to ride trails and gravel roads. if you aren't going to be riding those get a street bike

I wonder what people in these houses there are thinking when see a biker siting on the bike and talking to himself while showing with hands and nobody else is there...
Bluetooth
+VictorSeedorsky They probably don't care.
Or think - wtf? is that guy mental? Are all bikers mental..? That would work - as You have to be a bit mental to sit and ride on bicycle with engine. Like I do:D But I am mental.
VictorSeedorsky I assume they are talking on the phone , Bluetooth inside the helmet is very affordable, everyone should have one.
😂😂😂
Thank you all for watching my videos! Part 2 and Part 3 are available through my channel. You guys are awesome! If you have any specific questions please message me through my facebook page. =)
what to do exactly with the rev break? Do you instantly touch it when your front wheel went off the ground or earlier or later?
Exactly the way I started. And I appreciate that he's conscientious of other drivers on the road. Wheelies are distracting and frightening to other drivers. That creates uncertainty, and you're already in a vulnerable situation doing this. Kudos.
Preferably a hospital parking lot.

Or in your case, just sell the bike....
Lol doing 😂😂😂
4:41 to 4:52 that what she said.
kurayami893 - HAHAHAHA! Best comment. Nice spot. :-)

finally, an explanation that I can understand. The clutch and brake demos you did with your hands in the air was perfect.
Good stuff! I used to wheelie all the time with my '06 CBR1000RR. Hurt my back in 2010 and literally haven't wheelied since then, but want to get back into it. Took the CBR out a few weeks ago and forgot everything I knew, so here I am. Nice instructional video, thanks.
That " bust ya shit all up" is funny every time lol
Almost shitted myself when I tried to do it in first gear 😂. My gsxr 600 went so high up that the only thing I saw was the sky. Didn't think it was going to launch so high up going so slow. Had the biggest smile on my face after the experience. Have done it in first gear. Really wish I would be able to do it in second. Handling the throttle in first gear makes the hairs on my back standup. Lol barely have hair on my back though.
Lmao
TheJoseef17 Slower you go, higher it would come up, because then the engine has more room to rev up till you have disengaged the clutch.
+TheJoseef17 You're funny :)
Please be careful
+TheJoseef17 Hahahh! That's funny. How's the wheeling going =^_^= ?
Great video. I have a pretty hefty modified and tuned R6 and I can power wheelie 1st gear around 30mph and 2nd pretty much whenever I give it a full twist over 4k rpms. This video helped me control those wheelies. It was an eye opener a week after I bought the bike and I finally gave it a good twist and almost 12 o clocked it. Working on some decent wheelies now. thanks for the video
Thanks for the video. I can finally do a wheelie. Went out today (18 May 2014) for like two hours constantly trying and finally got it up about 6 inches with about two or three close calls. You are right when you say it is violent. Thanks again and I'll be out practicing getting better and then getting higher.
This video is responsible for at least 609 gixxer owners having to go on ebay and buy new fairings. hahah
lol
lol, as a new gixxer owner I am slightly troubled by your comment! i'll let you know how it turns out....
That's funny my friend! Ebay is blowing up! lol
How did it turn out?
Everytime I see a gixxer bro now, I'm scared they've seen my video and have looped their shit.
So how do I get both wheels off the ground? 😂
Jump
how do I tail flip?
There are some stunters that can bunny hop their motorcycles, it's pretty sweet
diamond Williams its called a J-A-C-K!
stand on pegs jump down on bike as doing that clutch up a wheelie and jump up kind of like you jump up doing bunny hop on bicycle
Thank you so much for taking the time to walk it out like you're doing. I ride a Harley touring that I put a much stronger engine upgrade & it started pulling the front wheel a few inches when I shift from 1st to 2nd full out. I was not prepared for that & it still is melting my stomach when I do it. I was needing an experienced wheelie rider to help me with some basic 1-2-3 stuff. Thanks again
VERY Nicely Done, Sir!!! Thank you - That last part was CRAAAZAAAAY!!! I'm a 38-year rider, still learning about my fun R3 - my 4th bike. For instance, I *JUST* learned recently that holding the bike tight with the legs makes shifting near-seamless! Oh, the wasted years!!! ;)
That feeling when you first time get that long wheelie, It is something amazing!:)
:that's feeling of *confidence, thinking you survived and harnessed an out of control Manufacturer..
"that's how it starts..."
Lord I'm scared....gonna be the only girl in my city poppin wheelies soon!
Hazel Eyez how are the wheelies?

Thanks for this video. I tried for about an hour now, after i heard what many others said and it didnt work. With your video i came up in the second try :)
The wheelie at the 11 min mark had my palms sweating. You’re nuts dude love the video!!
seeing this video after learning to wheelie years ago, Id say you did a great job helping thy fellow man lol
Thanks alot! =)
u doin all kinds of wheelies...all kinds
lol hodge twins reference
Just do whatever the FUCK! you wanna do.
I appreciate the video boss!
I’m picking up a bike this week, I have a long drive way so I’m gonna learn for next season.
I’ve done a very power wheelies on accident on my old triumph 955i scared the living shit out of me the first couple times!
Your my first motovlogger that i watch DOUBLET90T The True Legendary.
So basically what your sayin is, clutch in - accelerate - clutch out as quick as possible
And use the rear brake if I over accelerate and about to fall backward?
Let me know man
exactly
Use the rear brake during the wheelie to keep it balanced so you don’t have to let of the throttle and hammer it to get it further up that’s dangerous you want to be smooth
I wasn’t understanding the whole clutch throttle clutch either
if you get a 600 around 9k RMPS, let off the throttle, then immediately get back on the throttle hard, you'll power wheelie. it's scary as fuck but it's how I'm learning
Great video! I have had my 2012 ZX6R for a year now (after advancing from a Ninja 250R) and finally decided to try wheelies after accidently doing one in 3rd gear at 75 kmh when I slipped the clutch and gunned it. I have watched a few videos for tips, but not until after watching this have I finally popped my first clutch wheelies in 1st today! The best one I got was about a foot high, but only for about 5 or 6 meters. I'm getting a cam soon, so will post some videos when I have that. Cheers!
My under bone could do 2 feet wheelies for just about a second or two. And I will have to practice more, thanks for the video man. I haven't popped wheelies in like about a month since I had crashed.
Yessir!
Very helpful dude, will be trying this out. Make sure my go pro charged :)
justin wells #minimum coverage
Great video for someone like me who is still in the beginner phase. I was practicing roll-on wheelies in 2nd gear because I felt that was less 'violent' when the bike comes up, but it doesn't come up high enough or I don't have enough power to get it higher once it's up (trying at around 30-40 mph in second gear, 2006 Yamaha R6). But I guess I'll get back to 1st gear wheelies and try to get comfortable with those first before moving onto second gear. Again, great video and thanks for the info!
Nice video and good explanation, picking my gsxr 600 k1 up this weekend, may try just a little one when i have got a feel for the bike, but really liked your video thanks!
10/10 hodgetwins starting line, nice one :D
Making a motorcycle crash compilation. Send your future vids to me 😆
Your the first guy that's mentioned what gear to be in. Thanks.
I started with wheelies over hills, I was a little nervous at first but I've been getting better. You have to find a spot you know though, otherwise it can be dangerous. Once you get real good...it's a blast doing 120mph wheelies over hills.
2 questions
Do you lean forward?
Do you hold the clutch like halfway in during wheeli
I really want to learn this for my own pleasure not to showoff
***** You don't do either of those things.
DoubleT90T then during the wheelie you just keep balance using throttle?
***** you use the rear brake and throttle to keep the front end up. Once you hit the balance point, it is easier to keep it up...just takes practice and nerves to reach the balance point.
TexasRedneck makes sense, thanks buddy!
I'm just happy you referenced the hodgetwins and admitted it! LMAO
Watch this vedio a week ago and now I can finally do a wheelie!! Thanks man
thanks doublet90t. I'm going to try this on my cbr125. I've done a couple by accident but I rather know what I'm doing
Wow, you sound like Jake The Garden Snake
CherryAppIeJuice lmfaooo i love that guy
I came to this video thinking it would be another shit upload. then I heard "Y'all wanna do some wheelies? Thats good, thats reveal good" and I knew I had to stay purely for the fact you did a HodgeTwin parody haha.
Making ALL KINDS OF WHEELIE GAINS!
Andrew_EP_Photography exactly I stayed for the same reason
Just pulling my first power wheelies the last 2 weeks on my 600. Now that I'm getting used to the front wheel coming up I think I'm gonna try some clutch ups now. I haven't got them to work yet but hopefully I can figure it out. Great video 👍🏼
Thanks! I'm glad you found it informative!
DoubleT90T been getting it up with the clutch the past two days now, feels a lot more controlled than power wheelies lol still practicing the clutch ups but making progress 👍🏼
I just started trying to pop the front. Not for weelies but for power take offs. I did do my first 1inch and caught it on vid. So thanks for the input
i always wanna do this, but i'm too scared. my hand wont let go the clutch when i hear the engine screaming..hahaha
then don't do it.
Once you know how to wheelie, stop doing wheelies. Wheelies are like Russian roulette. You get caught and you lose your licence. You crash and you destroy your bike. You crash and you really hurt yourself or you die. Or you do a perfect wheelie and.... Well really nobody gives a shit.
so who cares?
enh3nd I second that

I rather die tomorrow and live this day absolutely 100% than be sorry when I'm old for that I didn't live my life when I have a change.
I just love the sound when u lift the bike man that's the best sound. that's why I love riding be safe out there nice video
First video I've seen that actually helped
i always had an issue with holding wheelies recently i found a new trick hahah i have yet to see a youtube video about it so im gona mention it. rpm shift power wheelies?...i recently met a guy who used to be a pro racer and oneday after hearing him speed away on his hp4 i listened to the sound noting the absence of the rpm drop off which would indicate a clutch shift curious i made a note to try shifting without disengaging the clutch. so here i was on a long stretch of highway accelerating in first gear hard hitting 12k rmp i ignored the clutch paddle and flicked my left foot up...the result was fuckin insane rpms droped and flew right back up so hard that i actually felt the rear suspension depress and spring right back forcing the front wheel up into a 10 o'clock position i held it for a good 1km playing out the 2nd gear rpms...i think its worth mentioning that this was played out between 100-160km/hr. but ye..clutchless shifting..does wheelies too and fuck is it fun.
Hopefully most people riding a sportbike would know that you can power shift, or shift without the clutch, while letting slightly off the throttle and shifting up, you can do the the same down shifting if you rev match... and it makes for a much smoother shift. even in street riding, you can shift without clutch it you blip tht throttle first, especially handy for drag racing.
although doing what you said is awful for the clutch, shifting up at full throttle... does the same job but at twice the "pay"
Joseph Hudson ye i have a class 1/6 licience here in canada it means i can drive just about anything on land i know in semi tractors rev matching makes shifting 18gears a breeze . as double clutching can become a pain especially when you're trying to gain speed relatively fast. i dunno just never really thought about applying it to a bike until i heard my buddy take off. that being said besides the fact that it is definitely bad for the clutch it is also incredibly dangerous. cause that front wheel doesnt fuck around when it starts comming up...then again it all depends on what rpm u do it at i guess
Also very true, if you shift at high rpm it can get messy lol but if you shift at a low enough rpm (maybe 4-9k) the change in power is much less noticable than shifting at, say, 10-12k..

What do you mean by "cover your rear break"? Are you saying just make sure to have your foot ready to hit it?
Joshua Howland yep
okay i thought so ty
When I say cover your rear brake I really mean use it. When you get up to balance point start feeling it out and you will see how important it is. Save your ass from looping
Practiced a good bit today, I've learned the average range of throttle needed and positioning on my bike to pop wheelies, no more accidental wheelies for now on lol.
That's good! That's really important. It all comes with time and soon becomes reflex
Thanks for the video, great tips, can't wait to try now.
you make it look so easy haha! i have an 05 RR that i've been practicing on, I dont want to dump my new 636
So I accidently popped a wheelie in first today, Kawasaki Vulcan S 650, scared the living crap out of me. I honestly didn't think my bike had the power. Just gunned it off a green light. I recovered although not gracefully. Any advice on how to recover from accidental wheelies?
Chandler LeBoeuf
Lmaoooo 😂😂😂 that reply cracked me up man!
I guess to just finish it as a normal wheelie since it already happened which is by increasing throttle and slowly back breaking
Hit that back break
the comment i was waiting for
I practiced while watching spongebob
MyLifeOnEarth 365 the best time to wear a stripe sweater is wheelie time
Just started watching this video, so far so good! I've been riding for 5 years (started a a ninja 250).
Thanks for this video! Very good advice. I got the front wheel up a lot easier than I have done for a long time. I did it 2 or 3 times as the bike was warming up. The engine would have been about 60 degrees. I tried it again when the engine got to 80 degrees and it just didn't want to come up. I kept doing it until my wrists were aching. There seems to be poor throttle response when I let the throttle and wind it up again before letting the clutch out. Or it could be the clutch slipping. I think I have a problem with engine valve adjustment, engine wear, bad oil causing clutch slip, throttle position sensor out of alignment or something else. I have adjusted the tick over, throttle cable, clutch to try to make things better but it hasn't. Fed up with this! Years of being able to get the front wheel up but lack of torque to allow me to move on to keeping it up. Any ideas what it could of be anyone? It's a Suzuki GSXR 600 k5 2005. Action needed I think!
I tried practising while playing modern warfare but found it easier to do while watching spongebob...
I tried practicing, but got carried away....
Lmao he said practice while watching sponge bob...that's me while eating a bowl of cereal
😂😂😂😂
the best wheelie tutorial video i've seen thankss!!
I pulled several accidental wheelies. but that might be because I ride a big V-twin (KTM). scared the crap out of me when I noticed... but all these tips are helpfull, so thanks a bunch!! :)
What bike is that?
+CallMehDustyNinja 07 cbr600rr
+DoubleT90T can I do it on a 120cc Yamaha ?
you can even do it ona bicycle so yep
You can easily power wheelie on a 600 or a 750. No idea why you said "if you have anything less than a 1000 then its hard to power wheelie"
Papii Chuloo ... power wheelie the yamaha fz07 in 1st. 2nd. and 3rd. gear... and its a 2 cylinder 689cc bike.. i remember my first power wheelie coming off a red lite and gave it just a little to much throttle... when that front wheel came up accidentally i almost pooped my pants.. so unexpected.
Sweet Daddy Haha exactly man. I remember the first time i rode an r6. All my buddies are like dont give it to much throttle coming off a stop or dont give it too much throttle when you're speeding up because it won't seem like much at first but then it gets to those mid-high rpms its gonna fly on you. Safe to say i did the exact opposite by mistake and shit my pants twice haha.
Papii Chuloo ino lol my yz125 power wheelies
I can power wheelie on my 400
Hey today is my second day of riding, I bought a 2014 Ducati Panigale 899, can I start doing wheelies?
I love that area where you're riding. It used to be like that around here.
Might want to explain(if you haven't done so already) what to do if you land with your front wheel NOT straight...
Shit your pants?
AviatorDashie hahah. most likely.
Start slapping your tank
Save your testicles
If you land with your wheel not straight, you wanna put all your gear on as quickly as possible because your about to go down
Just gotta be real quick putting on the gear
were you copying the hodgetwins at the start of this video haha?
my first wheelie was a clutch-up because of this video. scared the shit outta me but it went well and made learning less scary.
As soon I heard the "That's good, that's real good", I knew this was going to be a great video lol. Love the Hodgetwins.
Jesus christ people that are asking that can you do a wheelie with like +250cc motorcycles, i can do wheelies with my 50cc that goes 60kmh...
It all depends on the rider tbh, it took me a while to learn on my r125
freakbyparkour 50s are waayyyy lighter than actual motorcycles (not a roast, anything under 150ccs is legally a motor driven cycle). You can wheelie pocket bikes and small displacement dirt bikes easily due to their weight, it's significantly harder if you have a 600 pound bike that isnt a sportbike. It is dumb to ask if they can, because they obviously can, but this comparison is apples and oranges.
Oh yah blame it on the wind
Dude i learned a lot , and thanks to you, my first wheelie !!! Wheelie cbr F4i
I did the coolest wheelie you can do .. you pull out from the gas station as you x the road you open up a little and tickle the clutch lifting the front a foot while spinning the rear tire putting down a little rubber while the bike side strafe on the spinning rear, in to your intended lane. I only did it once by accident as I did not intend to side strafe, never thought about doing much wheelies after that, just not my thing.
The bike was a Honda VF 1100 c, back in the 90ies lol Now I drive a Honda 125 xr and want to learn, just for the hell of it.
So thanks for sharing :)
This is how to wheelie on a 600cc, 300cc, or 250 sport bikes.
On a 1000cc you need to:
Step 1: shift to a lower gear (About 10,000 RPM is good)
Step 2: twist 25% of the throttle as quick as possible
You're welcome
Ruined my bike thanks to you
how so?
how so?
He didn't crash it lol
You ruined your bike thanks to yourself. Take all the responsibility.
.
Totally agree with that. Gear, abandoned road, "KEEP SLOW". I'll recommend that next time someone asks me how to pop a wheelie. Keep it up brother.
Firstly great video... I like it how you explain things in details... I have an 08 zx10.. I use to power wheelie my 05 zx10 In first at about 40-50 mph...
My question is I've always wanted to learn clutch ups... would you recommend 2nd gear maybe 30-40 mph.. 1st can be alittle twitchy..
Thank you very much. I learn my wheelie on my ninja HR2! I did it last week
I just bought a 2015 KTM 1190 RC8 R and im so anxious to try a wheelie. thanks for the video. Do you roll the throttle forward when you come down?
Nice video dude, perfect detailed description, going to try that when the season starts :) Now I'll check yourpart 2 vid...
Great video the best one I've seen on wheelies cool man
Hey DoubleT90T,
I have a few questions for you:
1) On a Ducati Diavel (1198cc), in which gear would you recommend doing the "clutch-throttle-clutch" wheelie?
2) Should I adjust my rear suspension or front forks to a certain setting?
3) In your video, what did you mean by "riding the rear break"? Does it mean that I have to shift my weight to my left peg and keep my right foot on the rear brake - during the wheelie? - - -kinda like pushing down with my LEFT FOOT whilst pushing down with my RIGHT ARM?
Thanks.
You explained it the best on RUclips and it works I ride a GSXR 750 2002 best video ever
@ 9:45 "Just want to keep getting higher and higher." My answer to life's most complicated questions.
Awesome video dude... Thanks! Lots of info unlike some other guys who just tell u 2 things and say try it out for urself!!
ive got an 02 dyna super glide with a belt drive. 1500 ccs. any suggestions on what needs to be done differently/mods the need to be made. Or is the idea generally the same as explained in the video?
just picked up my gixxer 600 2 months back, its a custom track bike pushing 140hp.
pretty confident riding it at high speed but wheelies scare me.
scared to loop the bike.
hopefully this will work my only concern is my last ride pushing 140kmph the rear end slid sideways upon pushing the higher rev ranges.
my tyres might just tail out when i push the clutch.
Hey I have some questions. I have a 93 home cbr600. I know its older and has less power then the newer bikes. Will it still be able to pop a wheelie? And will it hurt my bike? I really want to do them but I feel bad just dropping the clutch. And since its older I would drop the clutch at a higher rpm? Or no?
Thanks!
This is the coolest shit I've seen this week.
when clutch-throttle-clutch do i need to lift my bike up a bit?
hi im just wondering why you think 1000cc bike should do this in 2nd gear? i got a yamaha fz1 naked bike. i have tried in 1st but doesn't work :( maybe need more parctice i guess
guys thnx for uploading this video , its of gr8 help, as i already crashed my bike once, but will follow ur intructions , hope i learn it quickly
Is it possible to make wheeli in 150 cc bike
cant wait to try this. buddy is letting me use his beat up old bike to try it.
Will this work for a KLR 650? I was told to pull on the handlebars and sit back further on the seat to do a clutchless wheelie in first. It works but it's nerve wracking!
Is it easier to wheelie on lighter bikes? I plan to learn wheelie on KTM Duke 200 (136 kg kerb/wet weight) - is that a good bike to learn wheelies?
