This procedure is in several YT videos and I followed them closely many times, failing to get into programming mode. Then, i read a comment on a different video mentioning that doing step 4C twice worked. This is the last step to enter programming mode. So, if you are having the same issue, Try insert and turn to on, then off, then repeat before pulling the key out.
Today, I became a real man too by programming a key fob I got from eBay. I followed your instruction exactly and it worked the first time. Thanks for the help. Cheers!
Worked great for me..I just got the FCC number off the back of my broken fob and ordered a couple of used fobs (with the matching FCC number) on eBay. Thank you for all your help!
Your video is better than the other video I saw! My locks we're programmed But I have to figure out the additional steps cause you didn't have to go to the next steps but I have too!! Great video!!

if your toyota doesn’t come with the programming feature from the factory it will never answer you and you have to get a new fob from the dealer…try and put it into programming mode before you buy the replacement fobs!

Curious if you ended up being successful. I notice when going through the steps that the instrument panel blinks a car w/key, the engine immbolizer/theft deterrent system indicator light. I think that is impacting me being able to successfully program. I've done this numerous times with no luck.

Everything worked for me except the end. When I press the lock at the very end nothing happens. Even after I close the door. When I pressed the lock and unlock buttons together it triggered then program mode response. Then I pressed and held lock button but nothing happened and it didn’t work.
How do you turn the beep off? I've been looking all over can't find how to toggle the beeping confirmation off. I don't like the whole neighborhood hearing the beep.
