@@DMlTREl HL2 was made by Valve in 2004, just a reminder, 2004 was when the original Nintendo DS was released and was when Shake Shack opened its first resturant. 2004 had poor graphics compared to now and half life 2 changed that forever. Now, in 2024, we have all sorts of incredibly realistic(and mostly free*) game engines, such as unreal engine, unity and construct to make extremely realistic games such as Valdik Brutal. Although i have never played it, i may assume Validik Brutal is at least a pretty decent game but it brought nothing new, as opppsed to half life 2, which brought its new source engine, realistic AI(for the time being) and revolutionized the gaming industry.

this comparison is complete shit. one person developed vladik brutal, and 82 people worked on half-life 2. first of all, the helicopter you tried to destroy was not able to die because it was not scripted to. you cant destroy it in that section because you dont have anything to damage the helicopter. the section you should have compared it in was when it was scripted to die in water hazard after you get the gun mounted to the airboat. and secondly, the fucking glass physics, you arent supposed to destroy the glass in vladik brutal. the second building was a fucking flat image, and you werent supposed to go into the house in the first one.
7:40 The helicopter can be destroyed in HL2, the chopper you were shooting at was not scripted to die in that section, it resets the damage taken there in that specific level so it doesn't softlock it. Also in that chapter you do not have access to the RPG yet, nor enough smg grenades to kill it, a more appropriate demonstration should have been the boss fight with it and the airboat with the mounted gun.

Half Life. they other is severe over kill. The textures look hash to the eye.. I feel like the developers for Vladik never show a gun... i.e. HOT HOLES IN THE SOIL, WALLS, WINDOWS... after you shoot.. Getting a blood shower when you shoot a NPC.. wtf? lol

Oh and if you shoot the hl2 chopper enough times there is a chance the chopper's pilot (a combine soldier) will fall out of it
