- My conversation today is relevant for entrepreneurs lookign toraise funding.
My questions focus on the expectations which VCs have when meeting entrepreneurs & listening to pitches. I asked Bedy Yang, Managing Partner 500 Startups (500.co/team/bedy-yang), who is based in San Francisco to join me. She is responsible for 500 Startup’s investments in Brazil and MENA.
We cover the mistakes founders make and highlight some of the ‘red flags’ during pitching that may turn your potential investors off.

Will VC still be interested to fund your startup? If product market fit,MVP and execution are already in place even if you haven't attended any accelerator like YC?
Absolutely - 'VC' is a broad term especially nowadays. Tose funds invest in different stages of companies. From pre-product (i.e. early stage), to pre-revenue and also pre-profit (which would be companies with a product in place and revenue in place, but interested in scaling further.
