QUALITY
The 2021 Wethepeople Crisis is stacked with quality. I really think this is one of the best bikes that I’ve reviewed in 2021. The full chromoly frame has gussets built into it, the bars and Forks are also full chromoly. And the parts are aftermarket. What more could you ask for?
CONCLUSION
This year’s Wethepeople Crysis is a really good bike for someone who needs a bike with amazing quality. The specs are a little more relaxed than some of the other Wethepeople bikes, making it really good for flowing dirt, park, or street. The person who buys this bike is probably doing some pretty cool tricks since they need a bike that will withstand the heavier riding. This person also likes to balance Park Street and dirt because they have fun shredding everything.

Nice coverage of the Crysis, Doug. I thought it was alright for the price, mainly because the frame is of such high quality, but without a lifetime guarantee to back it up like the Battleship, it's hard to have the same confidence in the Crysis. A few things irk me about this ride. For one, you get this extra-wide backend to fit a 2.4", maybe even a 2.5" tire yet it comes with 2.35" width tyres. Seems like an oversight. Secondly, the bottom bracket spindle is an 8-spline, where is a 48 spline would certainly be appreciated at this price. Though, I noticed the Devotion and Cloud you mentioned also have an 8-spline so maybe I'm expecting too much? Finally, any fork that isn't advertised as featuring a 4130 1-piece steer tube, I'd want to shy away from. Cheers!

I got the 2018 Version of the bike and I finally think of buying a new frame in 2023 just cuz I want a new one cuz the crysis frame won't even show any kind of damage except for some scratches!

I picked up this Frame the other day from a local kid, he messaged me and asked me if I had any crank he would trade me a frame. Trade him a set of 48 spline Eastern throttle cranks for this Frame

I'd recommend the Kink Whip, in 20.5" or 21", whatever suits your height better.
The Switch is the best Street bike for under $500!!!

I've got a mongoose R120 ben Wallace signature bike and frame 2016 release a gt fueler bmx bike from 2012 and a haro sdv2 Dennis enderson signature bike and frame from 2015 the mongoose was £440 the gt £750 and the haro was £950 all are complete bmx bikes all 3 bikes are full cro-mo everything do a review on the haro sdv2 Dennis enderson signature bike and frame you've done the frame review of it but i want you to do a full review of the complete bmx bike 😊

Hi great video 👍 I have just purchased a Colony sweet tooth pro BMX the top tube is 20.7 inch and the stand over is 8.5 inch. I am 5 foot 7 inch tall (yes I am short) is this the right size for me ?? 🇦🇺
It all depends how you like it, but it should be fine.
You'll be fine on the Sweet Tooth. I picked up a Colony Premise recently, as it was on sale and was very happy with the build quality given the price. Bugger is damn light compared to my Battleship! Curious to know what Dougster would think of the Colony Premise.

I build my bike around colony frame forks and bars like 4 years ago and all i can say is that im amazed with how well they have been holding up. The only thing to break so far are the forks. Colony is an incredible brand.

How would you compare this to the Street Sweeper?
Personally, I think the 2021 Street Sweeper is the better, higher quality bike. Though, it's more street orientated than the all-rounder that is the Crysis and, unfortunately, in comparison, the Sweeper doesn't come with hub guards. Though, it has a fantastic wheelset, 1-piece steer tube forks and left or right-hand drive options.
Hi Luke, The street sweeper is a little more expensive but it is totally worth that extra money. Sunday include more and higher quality after market parts. The main difference is the geometry. The Street sweeper is very responsive and more for technical street riding.

Weird. You reviewed this bike last year and gave it a really good review (partly why I bought it) saying it was one of the best bikes you tested? Now you say you wouldn't recommend it. Also, it didn't score high on looks because you said it was a bit bland and it's not eye-catching, then at the end of the vid you say "it looks really cool"?

Yeah man it’s kinda hard to say. I’m critical on a lot of bikes and the way the scoring system is designed so higher quality bikes will score higher. If you’re looking at the score sheet, any bike with a quality score over 5 is pretty solid
