I always loved the shape of MM guitars, especially that headstock - beautiful. But I haven't touched any of their guitars in reality and not very confident with spending a bunch of money on them, having a lot of alternatives for less price. One thing I don't really like in MM - they have a lot of proprietary hardware: different bridges, tuners and locking tuners. And the main concern for me - what to do when I will want to replace the bridge or some broken parts, how hard can it be.. But maybe some of their bridges have some drop-in replacements from known brands, don't know :)
The narrow spacing is a huge deal breaker for me, i have very large hands and struggle to play certain chords on those. I also have similar issue as you with hand bumping into controls. Otherwise I like the guitar, just not for myself.
Fair enough. I don’t think I can really get used to those super close controls either. I’m sure others have mentioned it to them. Strange setup
