"I'm not waving, I'm drowning."
Damn.
not gonna disagree that it's a great line, but they didn't write it
honestly that line changed something in me the first time i heard it. the poem it comes from is great too
Loyle Carner
The full band rendition of Bloodhound is so pure and beautiful. Foxing is something else entirely now, but I really appreciate their freshman years.
Completely agree
Agree
That first album is just beautiful
Sorry to reply to this so late but i think its the Strokes effect, where you can't keep up these types of vocals forever because they're so damaging so you pursue different genres/avenues that are less physically detrimental.
@@biggerdarrel692 I can understand how they wouldn’t be able to keep up the sound
I havent heard such pure emo since the original movement back in the 90's. Amazing band, almost addictive.
The guitar work sounds insane on the record, but seeing it actually happen is even more intense than I thought. Seriously, so much talent!
Yeah that Asian dood gets shred nasty
for anyone who doesn't know the lyrics to Foxing Inuit here.
oh, pure heart's peer caught me gawking / your hair in the wind such small lonesome hands / i think i was meant to keep you warm / it was bigger than me / it was bigger than the sea / and i'm not waving i'm drowning / i felt your waves calming comely / lights on as is angles casting sides / infinity and all watered the moon / it was more than i could care / i felt your weights crushing contours / and i felt cascades ripping right through me / my brightest love sent from tundras / your arctic touch / my brightest love it was more than i shared / it was more than you cared
Inuit at 3:30
(lyrics in specific order)
oh pure heart's peer caught me gawking
your hair in the wind such small lonesome hands
i think i was meant to keep you warm
it was bigger than me it was bigger than the sea
and I’m not waving I’m drowning
I felt your waves calming comely
lights on as is angles casting sides
infinity and all watered the moon
it was more than i could care
I felt your waves calming comely
lights on as is angles casting sides
infinity and all watered the moon
and I’m not waving I’m drowning
i felt your weights crushing contours
and i felt cascades rippling right through me
my brightest love sent from tundras
youre arctic touch as my brightest love
it was more than I shared
it was more than you cared
I felt your waves calming comely
lights on as is angles casting sides
infinity and all watered the moon
and I’m not waving I’m drowning
Everyone in this band is so talented, I'm absolutely blown away.
That guitar tap rhythm toward the end blows my mind every time.
Marcus Martinez yeh that is some fancy guitar 🎸 work man. I have fallin in Love with this band.. You should check out my music video on my channel it’s indie genre as well. You might like it
I just noticed it now and have been listening to this song so much lately. A lot of the time I don’t notice stuff until I watch their Audiotree sessions as there is so much going on sonically
10 years past so fast.
Best audiotree session I've ever seen. This is incredible.
That's the best bass performance I've seen out of Zach Galifianakis. He's getting good, man.
I'm dyingggggg
And by far the best sing performance from the professor from Money Heist.
LOL
The last two minutes of this video are as good as anything you will find in music.
naahh
Best thing I have ever heard in my life. Omg like fucking crying.
6:01 Can we just take a moment to appreciate the drummer right now
+Wayne Walker fuuuuuuuuuck!!!!!
+Tyler G Out of the whole video THAT is what you point out? That moment belonged to the guitarists.
im a drummer so i appreciate how hard that is, so its my opinion?
+Tyler G You must not be that good, because that's like the easiest thing he did in the video.
im gonna ignore your comments because youre a negative person and foxing probably wouldnt like you
Man I can never get over how hard this drummer crushes it in every live video I see of him playing . Wish I could jam with him.
These two songs blend so perfect together
foxing is like a midwest emo post-rock band
I want to know about their writing process. The sound and emotion put out by these dudes is something else... I'm so stoked to be seeing them in November.
Marcos A how was the show?
How was the show?
How was the show
How was the show?
How did the show go?
The second part is goosebmp inducing, so wonderful
goosebumps from start to finish. this is beautiful.
I saw these dudes live they put on the craziest show
They're still becoming better
Saw them this year in a French festival, I couldn't avoid to drop a tear. They are just amazing.
Recently started listening to a lot of this band and I'm in love. They are like a lowkey bit like brand new and like Sigur ros. But in the end you can't compare because they have their own amazing sound and personality
Kia 225 I just got into them too. Their music sounds so full of passion! It kinda reminds me of American Football :o
Found this while browsing my youtube on ps4 and ever since I heard Indica, I was so thankful I found them. Nothing has resonated in me like this since I found Deftones in 95'
man this band has one of the tightest most beautifully ambient sounds out right now.
WHO ELSE PUMPED FOR THE NEW ALBUM!?!?!?!
Was supposed to see them on the 4th of July but someone stole all their shit. Hope they're doing better now. Some people a fucking assholes. Great band.
I always come back to this Audiotree session
This could be one of the best performances on youtube to date.
Goosebump inducing, wonderful
Best non "live" sounding band I've ever heard. So much talent!
I just discovered foxing kind of recently and I am so fucking glad I did.
This live performance was mind blowing.
Every individual in the band is extremely talented by far; they deserve some recognition.
you guys are the most talented emo band that ever heard !!!!!!!!!! max respect !!!!
you should go check out a video of tiny moving parts
im a big fan of tiny moving parts man!
I wasn't really that much of a fan of foxing until like just now i think
I heard this song everyday and still gives me goosebumps
This band inspires us so much :')
Gives me chills, every time
I saw them live, and Inuit live made me feel something. I was in awe. So good.
Never heard these guys before. Wow wasn't expecting this
and I FELT cascades ripping right through meeeeeee
First vid that got me hooked, glad to see them doing good
never enough of this
The beginning sampling reminds me of sleepyhead by passion pit.
This is one of my favorite videos on the internet.
Still one of my favorite videos on the internet.
Insane... they're so talented
Sarah Ozgun you are really pretty ..just saying lol
...make my day .................. great
your music is what I need sometimes
went to their show in STL.. these guys are going to be big.
Foxing is the best band literally ever and absolutely no one on this planet can change my mind on that.
He hits the note at 5:38 perfectly.
Mike Zittritsch made me shudder
I lost my shit when they panned over and my mans was just suddenly on trumpet.
Bloodhound on repeat
this is the best.
3:56 if u don't post this performance to Spotify immediately I will riot.
Inuit is one of the best songs ever
absolutely fucking amazing

Tons of feel
out-cold with that trumpet
can't believe this was 8 years ago.
just realized the singer looks like that salty teacher from the incredibles
HAHA! YES 😂😂😂. Dash is probably the motivation behind Foxing's music
HAHA! YES 😂😂😂. Dash is probably the motivation behind Foxing's music
Cam Adams lol that's perfect I'm watching this as the Incredibles is on t.v. !!
Coincidence? I THINK NOT!!
crazy
that Spirited Away shirt fuck
Saw them open for Brand New in 2014. In all the shows I’ve been to over the years , Foxing is the only opening band I’ve actually really enjoyed.
SAVAGE!
Those vocals thoooooooo
This session isn't on Spotify... 😞
in the beginning late entrance with the vocals, compared to the original approach on the album messed me up for a bit lol still amazing
sweet but strong. yum yum.8 minute.not too long.
Good lord....
those piano chords are beautiful what are they
cantremember late but G, B minor, F# minor, and D
what genre would this be considered?
indie-rock/ Emo/Post rock is what i would say but idk
You got all those right
spirited away t-shirt?
what's the singer holding...some kind of sampler? like which one?
Yeah its a drum pad/pre-recorded mixer he uses to play the samples. Watch a live performance of the medic
Can someone tell me what guitar the one in glasses is using?
julian zamora that's a Fender Mustang, looks to be the American Special
This might be a stupid question but what kind of drum set is he playing?
C&C. They're the best of the best
Met a few of the guys in VA when they played at the norva with manchester and tigers jaw last year. talked with eric for a bit after their set. he seemed stoked I had actually flew up from Texas to catch them. i dunno it was surreal. and awesome. /end lame ass comment
posting for me 3:29
Is it me or does the bass player look like Zach galafinakis or how ever you spell his last name?
Great band! Kinda remind me of Death Cab for Cutie, i'm not sure why haha
Uhg
Bloodhound ruins me.. too much to handle
e
This is what emo should be not suicidal 12 year olds who listen to twenty one pilots
Please don't. We don't need 12 year olds at their shows
7:19 drumming is fucked
I just wish they weren;t so post rocky-ish, then i feel like id like em better. still great though, not amazing, but great
Zachary Duke Same here the post rock brings a lot to the music
