Still the most accurate depiction of depression I’ve ever seen. Not sadness or an emotion, its desperation. To dance, to drown, to move, to love something or to protect the worst parts of you. Why it’s terrifying to consider getting better when it’s an intimate part of who you are.
This band is greatly underrated
100%
He needs the plant for companionship, but the plant needs his blood to live. They need each other, even it kills them both. No one likes being alone.
Little Shop of Horrors
@@Ggallinismydad influenced by Alien and the Thing
@MarrowEternal little shop of horror is what I thought of as well lol
This one’s got a firm grasp of the obvious
Y'all rly got me crying over plants for the third time today
We don't have to talk about that, I just really love plants, okay?
You must have an awesome meat based diet then.
this is such a mood lmao
I'll never not believe conner is the kid from moonrise kingdom grown up.
conor dancing is everything i ever needed
its just as amazing live!
Im glad josh coll was a part of this.
I'M SHAKING.
IM IN A DISCORD SERVER WITH THIS MAN
AND I JUST NOW FIGURED OUT HE'S AMAZING.
That's how to do it right there.
Showed this to my film class as we've been discussing how lighting, color, and camera angles/shots create a mood and establish a character. They enjoyed it! Thank you Foxing for a great video!
"Mesmerizing" is the only word I can think of to describe this
Saw Foxing open for Manchester Orchestra & we were all blown away!! Ned Flanders with the voice of an angel...entire crew was over the top talented!! These guys need some exposure they deserve it!!
Damn, that's just about the definition of a perfect show.
I haven't even listened to this yet but I know it's going to completely captive me.
I listened to both of their first albums while DEEP into a psychadelic trip, listened to BOTH of them twice all the way through, and I can't explain how heavily their music changed my entire existence. How it formed my opinion on music, how it convincing to start playing guitar again after years of absence, how it reignited my passion for music production. This fucking band changed my life in the span of one crazy night and I've been waiting for this new album for what feels like a decade.
I'm fully aware this will get buried, but if it doesn't and Foxing sees this...just. Thank you. Thank you so much for being around. Thank you for Den Mother, thank you for Indica, thank you for Smidley (I know, but still). It won't be the same without their bassist, he was without a doubt the first musician to get me to reconsider the power that instrument has and what it can do in the hands of an expert.
I know, I'm rambling, but when your life has been altered by a group of people you've never met, but hope to one day, it's impossible to find the exact words to represent their impact. As far as I'm concerned, this band is one of the greatest of all time, and only rivaled by DanceGavinDance for the title of "my favorite".
Thank you, for being Foxing.
Someone gets it 👍
Wanna add the third ingredient to the music triangle. Foxing, DGD, and Watsky
captivate?
Hope you're still creating my brother. I'm with you in feeling Foxing give me creative juices!
WOW NOT ACCEPTABLE LOL FOXING IS ANOTHER LEVEL DGD PUKES
That's how you raise a Demogorgon.
demogorgon origin story

Me: Gets up. Hugs 2 year-old son. Holds indefinitely.
When is Conner just gonna start acting in indie films already!?
I feel like this video is about co dependence. The plant is literally bleeding him dry but he loves it so much he can’t let go, because he knows it will die without him. But he’s dying while he’s with it. So he’s trying everything he can to keep them afloat but the demand is too much. Not to mention him and his plant are isolated away from everyone else as it often is the case in codependent relationships.
I see a Foxing release, I click.
Are you a simple duck? Actually a dope duck
quack. (°)>
The video is somewhat unsettling, but I'm living for the song.
I've listened to this like 20 times today. I heard their new stuff the last two times I've seen them. So excited for the new album. Glad to see they still stand as my favorite band.
i swear i won't dedicate the songs in this new album to any cold-hearted girl no more...
Oscaracer ugh truth!
Oscaracer Lol too late
It's always how it goes innit
these guys make me proud to be from st louis
Can't stop watching. Josh Coll...keep doing what you're doing!
To not all men suits them well to grow a mustache. To this guy it does suit well.
Always loved Foxing. Me personally, I got a major Death Cab vibe from this. And I’m not mad at all.
I heard rumblings that Chris Walla produced it.
Michael Hershock Chris Walla influence manggg
"Produced by former Death Cab For Cutie guitarist Chris Walla and the band’s own Eric Hudson, with help from Hop Along’s Joe Reinhart, the new album is a huge step up and a significant change in direction from anything they’ve done before, while still sounding unmistakably like Foxing."

this will always be my favorite music video. something about it is beautiful and sad. i always get cold chills when conor is singing at 3:17. forever a favorite. i have listened to this song everyday since it came out and it still gives me the same feeling. it’s just incredible. ugh damn
Wow. Beautiful video and song. Such emotional. The vocalist is really good in acting. Great
He makes me question my sexuality high-key
This song and these late night thundershowers are such a mood
One of my favorite music videos ever.
Best plant dad ever ! (This is like a whole movie holy shit amazing work !)
Also I CAN'T wait for this new album..so excited !! 😭
3:41 - "Would you hold open the door so I can fall in? There's no more sun and no more light shine through.”
These lyrics have always struck a chord with me and has stayed with me for years. It's motivating to know that I'm being heard when I talk to someone about how I'm feeling, hence, the idea of someone holding open the door, so I could fall in which is my concept for the aforementioned lyrics.
But I rarely talk to someone these days; the feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, and lacking the sense of direction are frequently on display, and I'm unsure if it's such a sight to see for someone whom I'm venting to. So yes, for now, There's really no more sun and no more light that shines through.
Just want to say that there are tons of us feeling the same way and it's great to hear from you. I hope the music keeps you going and connecting with people who align with your thoughts here :)
I blast this song as soon as I get in my car Every. Single. Time. Connor dancing is indeed everything we needed.
Love from Brazil
the amount of dedication to pull this off
I remember Foxing playing this song when I went to Manchester Orchestra concert
Excellent album in my collection, thanks for vid
beautiful video & song
I'm loving this. I hope the new record is as good as this. This sounds like a great evolution of Albatross and Dealer.
Wow Fallout 76 looks really good.
Josh Coll awesome !!
Can't wait to see you guys in september.
After meeting Conor in Atlanta this year and have been listening to them for a very long time, all I want is to let them know much their music means to me.
i'm excited to hear the rest of the album.
One of the best live bands I've seen.
I can’t stop crying jeez

I think the plant is his heart. That’s as deep as my interpretation goes.
His voice is improving

tell ricky i say hey. idk if you guys still hear from him or not. caucas_ian wishes you all a wonderful hello. hope to see you again. thanks for all you do for the st. louis music scene.
Album of the year incoming
This video was beautifully drawn by someone who cares; even though I don't quite understand the reasons I feel so uncomfortable just being me sometimes, I see so much more the potency of nature and life in the purest sense
This, and other new age emotional music artists, actually care about music, about life....this is so much more beauty to what it portrays than I could even tell; but having raised my own, naturally created, life, I know that, as a parent, I need to be well, and this goes beyond where I normally would show someone else how beautiful the universe is. So big, more than 12.7 billion light years worth of potential, and of life.
Stuck on repeat
FOXING never disappoints.
Couldn't believe when I realized this was shot at Cape May Point
Watching this on mushrooms is not ideal lol
Nice!
amo 💕
The feeling when you see something new by a loved band and your heart beats weird for a few seconds. I think I even peed a little, wich is not good, cause I'm at work. Yeah, I'm on RUclips while working. I'm an outlaw, mom.
hallelujah!!!
AWESOMEEEEE
Holy shit, best one yet
Much love from Russia! Another timeless masterpiece!
That was super different but really good
I live this i love this i love this 💕
It doesn't get me like the other records; but we'll see how the rest of the album goes.
Still excited about this.
Alex Gunn. You should hear gameshark live.
Foxing confirms Portal 3
donus! 😱😱😱
Come to Brazil
dang, it shocks me how nobody listens to this band. truly talented musicians and a singer with amazing poetic lyrics.
The lack of recognition of Foxing is criminal .. they are f’ing amazing! What is wrong with the world. How could they consume all of the talentless garbage mainstream music when they could be listening to this?!?
So damn good.
Gotta save baby Groot obviously.
I actually really dig this song.
why is everything you make an absolute fucking masterpiece
