I didn't care I still thought they were RAD with a capital R A D!!!

I saw the video for "Calling On You" and wondered who the heck that was but also realized the song was going to be a hit. fast forward a few months and "Honestly" was all over radio and Dial MTV. now in 2019 the band is still on fire and they deserve all their success
It's miserable that he lost his voice. It happened to John Bon Jovi too. When you work on show biz, you will abuse your voice too much and don't save and take care enough like a classical singer because you want to make money as much as you want. That makes singer short life.

I saw Stryper live in 1986 in Oxnard, Ca. on the Soldiers Under Command tour. It was great.
Saw them in D.C.that year and still probably one of the best sounding shows I've ever seen. They were cool!
