Is anyone still listening to this PV in April 2024? When I first heard this song as a kid, I didn't understand the English lyrics, but I loved the melody. Years passed after I studied English, and here I am listening to it again. I still absolutely adore this song.

That's good that there's Metal and Rock bands spreading the message to God because there's too many bands influencing children to worship Satan and commit murder. We need more bands like Stryper. To hell with the Devil.

Beautiful song, we were blasting Stryper on our three hour road trip a week or so ago, and I had to hold back tears when this song came on, and I'm 17 years old. Who cares if he has a feminine voice, its amazingly beautiful, he can also shred flames with that voice if you listen to some of their other songs. hoping to catch them on their world tour God Bless Stryper!!
Just got home from the Stryper concert tonight here in Portland,OR. The last time I seen these guys was the summer of 1983ish at Magic Mountain down in Cali. I will say this. These guys have not missed a beat! Just absolutely spot on and Michael's voices hit every single high pitch note still after 25 years. I had front row next to Tim, We chatted between songs. If they come to your town. You have to see them live. So worth it and I would go again and again.

I woke up early this morning and the melody started to float in my head as I opened my eyes. Don't know why. I supposed I am to find out an employment somewhere else outside US where the pasture is greener. Also to maintain equilibrium people have to leave if you bring others.
My mother is much more desperate than I am that she tells me to leave to work somewhere. I don't think someone with associate in Music can do anything but scheme!
Friends like that aren't so easy to come by. If you are fortunate enough to have a friend like that, hold on and don't let go. And try to be the best friend to them that you can be too. Love, love, love this song.

Admit it, Stryper was ragged on because they are Christians. If they didn't openly put it in their songs I can guarantee you wouldn't hate them as much.
While we are speaking frankly here, the reason that Christians are ragged on quite a bit is because of their "turn or burn" approach to proselytizing people. I mean, who really wants to be told that they are going to Hell because they are living their lives differently from the way the bible thumpers deem acceptable to their standards? THAT'S what drew me away from the Christian faith to begin with. I mean, come on, how often do you hear about people being "saved" through the fire and brimstone style of preaching? If there IS a truly loving God, then He wouldn't send people to Hell for either holding some measure of skepticism about His existence or denying it altogether. That doesn't sound like a loving God that people portray Him to be. As long as you are a genuinely good person, it shouldn't matter what your views are in terms of religion. Not to say that I don't respect Stryper's Freedom of Religion (I believe that they have every right to incorporate their religious beliefs into their music and I personally applaud them for doing so), but all I am saying is who cares what their religion is if they are playing music that you like?

And then I find the feed loaded with comments by one man in particular who thinks he is the most self righteous follower . Not everyone chooses to live exactly the way you do! not everyone chooses to fill a church every sunday! heres a news flash for you and you know its true.... The most loyal and straight forward people are covered with tattoos and piercings and the most judgmental are in church every sunday.
Not all people who fill up churches every sunday are judgemental, and not all people with tattoos are loyal perfect people either. Just be a good person, and if you choose to be a Christian (like I am) the best thing you can do is be strong in your faith and treat others like Jesus would want you to.
