This movie's always been special to me because I actually know the artist who drew the monsters for not only this movie, but both live action Scooby Doo movies, too. He moved in across the street from me when I was in Kindergarten.
This basically put a different twist on a lot of the universal monsters, the wolf man, the frankenstein, monster, dracula and even going as far as going to doc jekyll and mr hyde. It's a fun movie and I do. Enjoy It. What I love about it? The most is the music the music was great.
Can't recall if you guys have watched the original Frankenstein (1931) but it is a must-watch to see where all the tropes of today came from in the genre. Also my personal favorite from those very early films was The Wolf Man (1941) and then there is Dracula (1931), those, for me, are the Unholy Trinity of early horror.
Great Movie. I usually don't like vampire or werewolf movies but I really to my surprise like this one. Van Helsin is like the James Bond of the horror movies. Another vampire movie is Interview with the Vampire with Brad Pit and Tom Cruise.
*One of my favorite Hugh Jackman movies. It really blew my mind to learn that Robbie Coltrane (AKA Harry Potter's Rubeus Hagrid) did the voice and facial motion capture modeling for Mr. Hyde.* *I love the brides, the lore of Count Dracula, Van Helsing's werewolf form and the look of Frankenstein's Monster.*
My favorite reactors! Another super enjoyable movie with you! According to the Bible, Gabriel is an Archangel, but he isn't the War Angel. That's Michael. In the Book of Daniel (Old Testament) Daniel complains that God didn't answer his prayer. Finally, Gabriel came to him and said he was delayed, because the Prince of Persia fought him for 21 days. Then Michael came, and took over the battle, so Gabriel could continue his mission. Some say the Prince of Persia was just another name for Satan. Anyways, Gabriel is a messenger, Michael fights the wars. The Left Hand of God is a movie from the 1950's, but some religious scholars say that since Jesus is seated on the Right Hand of God, Gabriel is on His Left. So, now you know as much as I do about the Left Hand of God! Marian is right, most of the stuff in this movie isn't Canonical. But Vampires do make a good story! Thanks so much for letting us watch with you! God bless you and yours!
For more movies with Van Helsing, plz watch "Dracula, dead and loving it" ( By M. Brooks ) And for Frankenstein, watch "Young Frankenstein" ( Also by M. Brooks ) Both are awesome comedies
The beginning Werewolf scene always drove me nuts. Every gun there should've had silver bullets in them and that Werewolf would've been hit about 20 times without even trying hard. 🤣
only in this movie are the werewolves really alive, like vampires unlike other movies. And the brides of fire, each of them is incredibly attractive, with their own character. And of course Hugh and Kate are in my heart forever, they look great together, as I have enough of such films. Without subpoenas and actors with huge egos.
@@enadegheeghaghe6369 I'm talking about modern films that are being shot: Lousy actors and actresses who can't even give out one emotion, with rare exceptions weak scripts, no original ideas, eternal sequels and remakes.
@@НадяЕлаева-к6м stop propagating the fallacy that modern movies are bad and old movies are good. We have had lousy actors and bad scripts since the beginning of cinema and even before then since the creation of plays and theatre. Do you have any idea how many hundreds of terrible films were created between 1900 and the year 2000? Sequels and remakes have also existed in theatre since ancient Greece. Both good and bad films have always coexisted.
@@enadegheeghaghe6369 Apparently, I am not making myself clear, now all films have a big drawback: Most of them are rewritten under the dictation of modern ideas, they cannot be watched. Actors are lazy, they have no core, charisma, individuality. I can count on my fingers the new films that have been released and have not failed at the global box office. And rewriting the main character by skin color, gender does not mean a new cool character. Otherwise, I agree with you, but keep in mind that most of these remakes and sequels were shot back in the golden age of Hollywood.
@НадяЕлаева-к6м you are still repeating the same fallacies. Lazy actors have been around forever. Thousands of movies flopped at the box office last century including during the "golden age of cinema". For every popular old movie like Wizard of Oz there are dozens more movies that no cared about or remembers. For every successful old movie like Casablanca, there are dozens more that flopped during that time period. Not every movie made in the past was a huge success. Stories and plots have been rewritten since time began. You may hate modern ideas but none of the stuff you complained about are new or recent developments. You are also wrong about the counting modern successful movies on your fingers, We have had more movies make a billion dollars or more in the last 20 years than the previous 200 years put together. You just have bias against things that are recent because you romanticise the past.
God is understood to be equal parts justice and mercy. So these are His two arms. And so it is common to call someone His left hand who is carrying out God's justice

In the original book the monster's name isn't Frankenstein, Frankenstein is the scientist who created the monster. Frankenstein is a normal human

In this movie Van Helsing is actually the archangel Gabriel - the left hand of God

Van Helsing has the coolest looking werewolves in any movie.

I thought Marian would be more excited to watch a movie about his ancestors. 😂
MJoy4Fun the voice for Mr Hyde is the late Robbie Coltrane who also plays Hagrid from Harry Potter
The beginning Werewolf scene always drove me nuts. Every gun there should've had silver bullets in them and that Werewolf would've been hit about 20 times without even trying hard. 🤣
Count Dracula is also called.......VLAD THE IMAPLER
Yes the dreaded IMAPLER 😂

Van Helsing bit Dracula's finger and took his ring. Kinky.
Archangel Gabriel enjoy

Marian is Romanian.

Movie volume low
Funny how you don't mention how bad the effects are.
Probably because they're not.
