    A new learner with resin and silicone, I made my first mold in my silicone mold and no difficulty getting it out.

    Thanks for sharing your ideas. Try spraying the glass/resin round with mold release. That should help the silicone come off it easier. I’m definitely going to try this.

    Thanks, Michelle. I will definitely try this. I also want to make a mold of crystals in drusy. Wish I could tolerate the heat, but I can't due to COPD. I would love your lifestyle. Many friends have moved to FL.

    Hi Michelle, I love your videos and experiments; this time I’m wondering if you could do a druzzy edge coaster, for some people is so easy but I cant do it😖 I prefer male my own coasters and trays, because I cant spend lot of money to purchase.. so I hope you can do a demostration for that druzzy edge please??!thank you so much! Hug for you🌷✨💐🙏🥰👏👏👏👏👏

      I wish I knew how to make that as a mold. I’ll do some research and if I figure it out I’ll definitely share to help save people money! Thanks for watching 😊

      I’m not sure this was my first time making them. I do know the surface you want to mild has to be shiny. Maybe a mold release would work.

    Wait did you mix part B to part A before adding the broken glass?

    • @glitznglitterbymichelle1
      @glitznglitterbymichelle1  Год назад +1

      I don’t pay attention to which part I pour first to be honest. I do however pay close attention to my lines so I have the exact amount of each. In doing this step looking at eye level my resin cure’s perfect every time.

    I'm so sorry all that bad damage happened to y'all, I love the little animals. I've been making mine from Borax crystals I grew. I was going to try it the way you made your's but I just love growing them from Borax. Next time use a clear spray sealer and they will come right off for you.

    • @glitznglitterbymichelle1

      I wish I knew how she made them! I can’t find a tutorial on that anywhere. People are holding that info hostage 🤣 not everyone can afford to pay that much for molds. I do have one of hers and it’s really nice but for the $75 I only used it twice 😑

    I just ran across your video.... What is druzies and what is it used for?? Anyone??

    • @glitznglitterbymichelle1
      @glitznglitterbymichelle1  Год назад +1

      Sure! You will put this little insert into a project and when the resin cures and you pull the insert out it gives a crystal affect in the piece. Fast forward to the end of this video where I use it to show you exactly what it does. Thank you so much for watching and I’m happy to answer anything I can! 😊
