Same. I just make some on occasion in the crock pot. Very easy to do. But i'm spoiled hubby usually does most of the cooking but it's "approved" it's one thing i can do well is the crock pot cooking..lol. Chop the veggies that quick heat up of the chicken thow in noodles and the chicken broth, good to go.
For emergencies I keep Progresso soups on the pantry shelf. I, however, will spend the time to make my own soups and pressure can quarts of them so there is always soup when I need some.
I haven't tried all the brands of soup in the grocery stores, but my FAVORITE since they first came out are the CAMBELLS CHUNKY SOUPS. I just love all those ingredients in good size chunks and a thicker broth instead of few skinny noodles with watery broth. i'll start with the Chunky Sirlon Burger soup that is just like homemade beef stew ,very creamy and beefy tasting broth with a good amount of little beef-burgers. The Chunky Chicken soup is outstanding and the new Chunky CLAM Chowder is now loaded with nice size potatoes in a thick clam broth just oozing with the taste of a New England CLAM BAKE. Needless to say, except for homemade, I'm sold on Cambells Chunky Soups. Now where do I pick-up my check for this testimonial ? Ha !
As an adult, I cant stand any canned soup, no matter what type or brand. All are way too salty, and most taste like a can. When I was a child, Campbell's was the soup we always had.
I'm 52 years old. I used to love chunky soup but now its so watered down, it garbage! When I was younger they had commercials showing if you stuck, a fork or a spoon it would not move. Now chunky soup, is saltwater down it's garbage!
I never add water to a condensed soup. I like hearty flavour. Campbell's Original is just fine with me, although I like the chicken rice better. Campbell's Homestyle and Chunky is also very good. Progresso is fine, but does not have that magic nostalgic character.
@@Glicksman1 Oh I get not eating heathy occasionally. I've just gotten really sensitive to things too salty on my taste buds. Just can't even eat it anymore. Last canned soup i had i literally just poured it down the drain after a couple of bites. Even a lot of chain pizza I can't eat more than a couple of bites anymore because it's so salty.
@@johniii8147 Well, salty is a big part of canned soups and even some home-made soups. If salt is not your thing, then as you say. you're not going to like it. Cheers, mate.
I've never heard of half these Brands I don't know if it's because I'm from Connecticut but I go to several grocery stores and I've barely heard of Annies
This looked like a veiled advertisement for Campbells. You never address the MSG ingredient in Campbells regular red can soups which results in a painful headache. My "go to" chicken soup is Progresso Chickarina. (By the way, no MSG in ANY Progresso, Cento, Amy's, Bar Harbor or Healthy Request soups.)
You couldn't be more wrong. I as many others have a sensitivity to MSG. I know what I can eat and I know what I can't. Campbells knows it as well otherwise why would they create the "Healthy Request" recipe for some of their soups?
@@user-us6ce7me8k It doesn't take that long if choose well. Or like I do I make things in large quantity and have food for a few meals. Takes maybe 30 minutes for me on Sunday and I'm good to go for for easily 3 or 4 days. The other huge time saver is crock pot cooking. Just throw the ingredients in and that's really all you have to do.
They are adequate for the purpose if one is in a hurry, but their is nothing like home made. One of my grandmother's made the best homemade chicken noodle soup, and the other made the best pea soup.
What is your favorite brand of canned chicken noodle soup?
None. They are all too salty.
My email helped; you are finally talking about soups. However, you failed to mention the top brands Chicken Tortilla!
I use a mix from the grocery
Tbh I’ve never met a canned CNS I actually liked. My vote is my mom’s homemade.
Why would you start with CNS that is for little children?
Campbell's chunky classic chicken noodle soup really helped me when I had the covid.
Oh, my gosh. Campbell's chicken noodle soup brings back extremely fond memories!
I love Campbell's Chicken Soup, with no water. Just straight outta the can.
🤔 might want to check blood pressure..
I haven't had canned chicken noodle soup in a long time but when I did, Progresso was my go-to!

I agree. Progresso and Ritz Crackers was my go to.

disgusting

I’ll save you 10 minutes of your life… Get anything Campbells because they own this list.
Thank you lol.
Love Campbell’s still.
Yummy Thank you for sharing. 🤗😊
I use Campbell soup for cooking, but Bear Creek has an awesome line of soups, stews, and the best chili EVER.
FYI Campbell's no longer makes HEALTHY CHOICE SOUP'S MY FAVORITE
Noodle o.is awesome.
Campbell's WELL YES, finally a soup that doesn't taste like every soup out there!
correct, I like this one
As an adult, I cant stand any canned soup, no matter what type or brand. All are way too salty, and most taste like a can. When I was a child, Campbell's was the soup we always had.
Growing up my mother only knew how to make soup and grilled cheese. I ate so much soup that I'll never touch it again 🤢🤮
Campbells well yes soup is a good alternative.
Campbell's chunky soups are good.

Way too salty and processed.
@@johniii8147 Yes, it is. It's certainly not my Grandma's chicken soup, but it is a fond part of my childhood and now of my adulthood as well.

You've never heard of Campbell's and Progresso? What's Connecticut?
Campbell's chunky soup has gotten a lot thinner over the years. You can't stand a spoon like they said, not even a plastic spoon
Yes some of my favorites are no longer good as they were and I no longer eat them
Campbells is always the way to go. Add a little chicken you like to it and you really got something. Was fun to watch. Great video
I love the Walmart brand chicken noodle soup
I like virtually nothing sold in the grocery section at Walmart. I have found virtually everything I have tried to be disappointing.
I'll have progress hands down!
Like new buildings....roads and technology?

MSG does not cause headaches. There are no side effects whatsoever. It's naturally produced by the human body so you must get headaches everyday.

I’ll have to try it to believe it, they’re all pretty bad.
No one makes better chicken noodle soup than Campbell's
Campbells soup 10……….Annie’s 6…….. progresso9……… Wolf gang9……..Amy’s soups 8
Campbell's labels now have the warning of "Contains a Bio-Engineered ingredient". Caveat Emptor.
🍗🍜🥣🍲
Rao's is the the best pasta sauce, but it still really, really sucks. Just throw a chicken in a pot with some mirepoix.
A lot of hard "S"'s in this video.
The healthy request soups suck.
I don't eat anything canned.. what happend to homemade meals?! Processed food is a real menace to our health and everyone should avoid it!
I don't have time to cook!
It's the salt of canned foods that kill it for me. Like eating a mouthful of salt in most cases.

Sorry but whoever said progressive chicken noodle soup is good your are lying it smells like dog food
Campbell's homestyle noodle soup is not superior by any means!
🤮 yuck
Too much sodium, mooshy noodles.
No
No such thing as good, canned soup of any kind, brand, or style.

i much would rather be homeless and starving to death than to have chicken noodle soup i mean that i swear that to Christ!
