Yet my pap smears and hpv screening always came back negative for all hpv they test for and still do. How did this virus get in my nose!!! But no where else ! I also learned quite about the other stds as well in high school. But they really didn't tell us much about HPV. Before I educated myself on HPV, I though it was just another STD like Herpes because I thought it basically caused genital warts. Which of course I am wrong since there are various strains of the virus.

Your relationship life doesn’t necessarily have to be over, at least from my point of view… I found out that I had it around September last year, I met the lady I was dating back then around March I think and it was dormant for the whole duration, only contacted it once she had a breakout, we then agreed that she’d go for a Pap test and that’s when she found out… I then went and got tested, found nothing and thought I was clean, until I got a breakout and went and tested again, my doctor said I had it but still got clean results so I didn’t understand, this was before knowing the situation we have as men regarding this virus, I then ended the relationship and quickly got into another one, dumb I know. I was using aldara for warts and it said not to have sex when you on the medication and that you have to bath/shower before sex so that’s what I did, a few weeks later my girlfriend found out she had it, long story short, I went and got the warts surgically removed and the doctor told me that we shouldn’t have sex when there are breakouts, or at least practice safe sex during that time, he even said it’s possible to even fall pregnant and have healthy children, as long as you don’t get involved with people when the symptoms are clearly showing, just practice safe sex always, I hope this helps

I ended up not clearing HPV....and I was diagnosed with stage 2b cervical cancer last year....I had 5 weeks radiotherapy, with concurrent chemotherapy, and 4 brachytherapy treatments. I am doing well, but I can't have any children, Doctors didn't /wouldn't perform a hysterectomy, because the MRI indicated possible tumor involvement on the right side wall...I am so thankful that I responded well to treatment. did you just wait it out when you got the abnormal pap? that's why it turned into stage 2? I got an abnormal pap in september 2022 then just tested again in march 2023 and my pap is still abnormal with HPV positive. i think i shouldve waited one year to test not after 6 months. any advice :(

Ok Ok Ok, am I the only one who is confused here? Im in my mid 30's and the only type of HPV I was taught about in sex education was warts. So here I am years later and now there are over a 100 strains of HPV? REALLY?? BUT then most of those strains are cured naturally by your immune system so your test may not even pick up on it? @xavierzsada I'm not quite sure what gential warts are, but if you're referring to genital warts, the fact, is Gardasil protects again four types of HPV, two of which cause genital warts: types 6 and 11. It also protects against two oncogenic types, 16 and 18. You ARE correct that the types of HPV that cause cancer are not the types that cause warts. But Gardasil provides protection against some of each. I don't really see how anyone is better off getting the warts. They don't do anyone any good.

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and just got a positive result for both hpv and abnormal low grade cells. I have to wait till six weeks after my baby is born to get further tests. It terrifies me that i have to wait so long.

German Doctors have Different opinions about hpv. Some says i dont know, some says Its for life time, some doctors i have been to says it will go away on its own, and also some doctors here dont allow me to ask questions because they are in hurry, and some also Doesnt explain What Hpv really is. The is no technical reason why test for HPV for men couldn't be developed. The question is economic. How much would it cost to develop such a test and would there be enough demand for the test to cover the cost of development.

You immune system can only suppress it so if the pap is good and clear, it only means at the time of your pap, your immune system is strong enough to suppress it. But you don't have that kind of immune system all the time and forever, when you ages or if you get other diseases that drains your immune system, then your HPV acts up....Don't have sex. The skin warts type is the most harmless type but the cancer causing type is the one that gets transmitted during sex... Condom can't stop it....Oral sex is risky for transmitting STD, and of course tongue kissing also...

Maybe..... My two teenagers have smart phones (so if anything happens at public school,be ause so do not trust public school,they can call me to get them asap) and guess what, they both are not only in the highest advance classes for their grade level,but are gifted,and straight A. And yes, unfortunately they were fully vaccinated until we stopped vaccinating. We stopped because every single one of my kids, had serious reactions to those vaccines (not every time, but at leaat 1-3x the laat being very serious,my daughter was crippled for two weeks) and I had not decided what to do but my 6th sense was to stop until I learned more about them. It wasn't until nearly 9years after stopping poison shots, that I truly understood the side effects, (all of theirs were what was/or is listed on the insertd,unbenost to me yrs prior) and how dangerous they were. Never gonna turn back now. They only got healthier, as time wnt by ,after we stopped those poison shots. But yeah,as for the smart phones, they do use them to watch videos ,go on youtube,etc... and they evrn wait til the laat minute oftentimes to do homework or whatever but they just keep grtting those straight A's. Maybe lucky,mayne blessed, I dont know. Maybe they just don't over do it, like other kids? My neice is an only child, her mom is single mom, and she at only 8hs her own phone and is on that damn thing way too much, and yes she struggles in school. @dawntreader3 Very true. In fact, Gardasil was developed for 3rd world countries who couldn't afford conventional medicine (I think it's safe to say 90% of pharmaceuticals are bad for you anyway.) The vaccine was never really tested, never had peer review and was pushed out the door without research trials. I believe there were even cases in Somalia where women's brains became vegetable states. It's very sad :( How dare they push this on people, even forcing some to get it.

Don't listen to a diagnosis on RUclips! Go to the doctor and go get checked. You need your families support AND don't tell everyone your business. Go to the doctor and let THEM properly diagnosis you. They can remove the warts and you will be fine. Practice safe sex OR abstinence at all times. Just because someone looks good on the outside doesn't mean they are clean. If you give/receive oral sex get a dental dam. You are torturing yourself by not going to the doctor. I've very well-informed on penile cancer. That's why I wasn't arguing with you about the fact that it is rare, although the incidence may increase, much as the incidence of oropharyngeal cancer associated with HPV infection has increased in the last decade. But even Stage I penile cancer may be treated by a partial or total penectomy. If you think that's an "easy treatment," I'm surprised. I think it sounds rather distressing.
A friend died from head and neck cancer and she was in a study group for HPV! She was in her sixties! She had it from her teens! She suffered for years and it never went away! Every time she got better it came back worse the next time!

I have it had a hysterectomy 10 years ago but they left my cervix. I recently had a kidney transplant so now they want to take my cervix & stump out because the anti rejection drugs I take for my kidney can cause cancer. I also learned quite about the other stds as well in high school. But they really didn't tell us much about HPV. Before I educated myself on HPV, I though it was just another STD like Herpes because I thought it basically caused genital warts. For me it was confusing and no one knew about hpv. I had an ex get a pap done and never showed hpv. I had a dr apt and a two phone calls one saying I have warts and the other saying I am clean. With my ex and the clean phone call I thought it was a mistake for the warts call. Your relationship life doesn’t necessarily have to be over, at least from my point of view… I found out that I had it around September last year, I met the lady I was dating back then around March I think and it was dormant for the whole duration, only contacted it once she had a breakout, we then agreed that she’d go for a Pap test and that’s when she found out… I then went and got tested, found nothing and thought I was clean, until I got a breakout and went and tested again, my doctor said I had it but still got clean results so I didn’t understand, this was before knowing the situation we have as men regarding this virus, I then ended the relationship and quickly got into another one, dumb I know. I was using aldara for warts and it said not to have sex when you on the medication and that you have to bath/shower before sex so that’s what I did, a few weeks later my girlfriend found out she had it, long story short, I went and got the warts surgically removed and the doctor told me that we shouldn’t have sex when there are breakouts, or at least practice safe sex during that time, he even said it’s possible to even fall pregnant and have healthy children, as long as you don’t get involved with people when the symptoms are clearly showing, just practice safe sex always, I hope this helps

I ended up not clearing HPV....and I was diagnosed with stage 2b cervical cancer last year....I had 5 weeks radiotherapy, with concurrent chemotherapy, and 4 brachytherapy treatments. I am doing well, but I can't have any children, Doctors didn't /wouldn't perform a hysterectomy, because the MRI indicated possible tumor involvement on the right side wall...I am so thankful that I responded well to treatment. I feel traumatized from the experience, because although Cervical cancer is common, there aren't many women that talk about their experience with Cervical cancer.😥

did you just wait it out when you got the abnormal pap? that's why it turned into stage 2? I got an abnormal pap in september 2022 then just tested again in march 2023 and my pap is still abnormal with HPV positive. i think i shouldve waited one year to test not after 6 months. any advice :(

Ok Ok Ok, am I the only one who is confused here? Im in my mid 30's and the only type of HPV I was taught about in sex education was warts. So here I am years later and now there are over a 100 strains of HPV? REALLY?? BUT then most of those strains are cured naturally by your immune system so your test may not even pick up on it? @xavierzsada I'm not quite sure what gential warts are, but if you're referring to genital warts, the fact, is Gardasil protects again four types of HPV, two of which cause genital warts: types 6 and 11. It also protects against two oncogenic types, 16 and 18. You ARE correct that the types of HPV that cause cancer are not the types that cause warts. But Gardasil provides protection against some of each. I don't really see how anyone is better off getting the warts. They don't do anyone any good.

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and just got a positive result for both hpv and abnormal low grade cells. I have to wait till six weeks after my baby is born to get further tests. It terrifies me that i have to wait so long.

Some says i dont know, some says Its for life time, some doctors i have been to says it will go away on its own, and also some doctors here dont allow me to ask questions because they are in hurry, and some also Doesnt explain What Hpv really is. The is no technical reason why test for HPV for men couldn't be developed. The question is economic. How much would it cost to develop such a test and would there be enough demand for the test to cover the cost of development.

They make it sound like HPV is nothing..which is not true. I have a doctor in my family so I know. HPV always will be in the body once you get it. You immune system can only suppress it so if the pap is good and clear, it only means at the time of your pap, your immune system is strong enough to suppress it. But you don't have that kind of immune system all the time and forever, when you ages or if you get other diseases that drains your immune system, then your HPV acts up....Don't have sex. The skin warts type is the most harmless type but the cancer causing type is the one that gets transmitted during sex... Condom can't stop it....Oral sex is risky for transmitting STD, and of course tongue kissing also...

My two teenagers have smart phones (so if anything happens at public school,be ause so do not trust public school,they can call me to get them asap) and guess what, they both are not only in the highest advance classes for their grade level,but are gifted,and straight A. And yes, unfortunately they were fully vaccinated until we stopped vaccinating. We stopped because every single one of my kids, had serious reactions to those vaccines (not every time, but at leaat 1-3x the laat being very serious,my daughter was crippled for two weeks) and I had not decided what to do but my 6th sense was to stop until I learned more about them. It wasn't until nearly 9years after stopping poison shots, that I truly understood the side effects, (all of theirs were what was/or is listed on the insertd,unbenost to me yrs prior) and how dangerous they were. Never gonna turn back now. They only got healthier, as time wnt by ,after we stopped those poison shots. But yeah,as for the smart phones, they do use them to watch videos ,go on youtube,etc... and they evrn wait til the laat minute oftentimes to do homework or whatever but they just keep grtting those straight A's. Maybe lucky,mayne blessed, I dont know. Maybe they just don't over do it, like other kids? My neice is an only child, her mom is single mom, and she at only 8hs her own phone and is on that damn thing way too much, and yes she struggles in school. But my kids have two patents, and siblings to interact with, they are older, have a social life too, so who knows.... different factors at play here I guess.

The vaccine was never really tested, never had peer review and was pushed out the door without research trials. I believe there were even cases in Somalia where women's brains became vegetable states. It's very sad :( How dare they push this on people, even forcing some to get it.

Don't listen to a diagnosis on RUclips! Go to the doctor and go get checked. You need your families support AND don't tell everyone your business. Go to the doctor and let THEM properly diagnosis you. They can remove the warts and you will be fine. Practice safe sex OR abstinence at all times. Just because someone looks good on the outside doesn't mean they are clean. If you give/receive oral sex get a dental dam. You are torturing yourself by not going to the doctor. No HPV is very easily avoidable. Cancer is a big deal since 85% of the many cancers are caused by this particular infection. It's a lot more than flu.

A friend died from head and neck cancer and she was in a study group for HPV! She was in her sixties! She had it from her teens! She suffered for years and it never went away! Every time she got better it came back worse the next time!

The strain with warts is low risk and the body can usually rid of it within a few years.
I have it had a hysterectomy 10 years ago but they left my cervix. I recently had a kidney transplant so now they want to take my cervix & stump out because the anti rejection drugs I take for my kidney can cause cancer. Just found out I had it when I tried getting a kidney transplant, I am 55 years old. Paps always come back abnormal the coposcopy & I had a leep procedure last year. So it doesn't go away on its own. Oh I haven't had sex in over 10 years due to kidney failure.
