I didn't believe in god for the longest time. I never really felt that he gave me signs so I lost faith. Up until I became severely depressed, one night of horrible thoughts I layed in bed and spoke to him from the heart I told him to help me out of this place. The next day I woke up tired but hopeful, I drove myself up to a clinic & asked for the help I needed. I didn't even have to wait much they took me right in. And to me that was God's answer to my prayer.. he gave me the strength to do what I couldn't do for the longest time.

I'm a believer but with depression you end up losing yourself and your faith weakens. The Word of God says "I will never leave you" and best believe he doesn't. But we do! We leave Him when we down and feeling lost and then start doubting ourselves if you think you not worth His love caused you messed up and you probably also condemn yourself coz of past transgressions. Forgive yourself and know that God will forgive you everyday if he has to for you to be back in his presence. Go to the clinic and ask for help and be grateful that you still here and now you've taken your power back, it's time to do big things❤

Just know Jesus sided cuz he loves us and covers all our mistakes with what He did on the cross for real. If you knew me and seen me crying out and depressed and isolated and was left behind by many God made me new and my heart filled with joy now!! He gives all of us a new start . Hes that light that may be dim at first but He draws close to those who draw near to Him and watch that light shine like never before.
