@@Kooczsi fear is actually conditioned into us by our environment. children have no fear and will play with a cobra. Can I pet that "dog?" even though it was a bear. Fear is fake and anyone who tells you otherwise is afraid of something that hasn't happened.

You story is clearly a destiny, as you, an independent young man, happened to be exactly ready for such uncertain proposition, and it turned out well, and responsible Japanese helped you smoothly.

You were so brave to travel across the world so far from your family and friends at such a young age. I hope they are all safe and well. I hope that all your dreams come true and that when this terrible war ends you'll have the most wonderful memories of Japan and such stories to tell your loved ones. I think you're a wonderful young man and I've subscribed so I can follow your adventures. Much love and best wishes to you.❤

it's amazing that your dream of living in japan came true - it's just a shame it has occured because of the war. I'm sure you are extremely worried about your family and friends back home -- again you must be torn in two...on the one hand you really want to enjoy this experience, but on the other hand i'm sure you are thinking of home.
When I lived in Japan I was in Miyako-shi in Iwate-ken back in 2011 when the earthquake and tsunami happened - i lost so many friends, neighbours, and students. As much as I love Japan, they are not great with mental health support (maybe that has changed). I eventually moved to Kanagawa-ken in 2013 - i felt so guilty about leaving Miyako-shi as it was still recovering but I also had to consider my needs about moving forward in life. Sadly my mental health worsened and I returned to England in 2018 -- I do regret leaving Japan but I was able to get the mental health support I needed, plus see my family which really helped.
Make sure to take care of yourself and never be afraid to ask for help. Japanese are not always good at talking about emotions but sometimes it is necessary to have good mental health.

Wow! this is a great example of triumph from chaos! Good thing that you were able to see that ad in FB and it was not a scam. I do have several questions though.
    1. Was it a family that "adapted" you from Japan?
    2. So your education is free funded by them?
    3. How about your food and lodging? who pays for it?
    4. How are you siblings and parents? do you still have communication to them?
    5. Are you now a Japanese citizen? or will you be?
    6. What are your future plans? especially to that person who "gave" you your "dream". I am pretty sure you are grateful to him/her. How do you plan on giving back? Not many people get a lucky chance in life like yours you know so i advice you to be really thankful to that person and do something good to the society as well.
Thanks and be a good person always, learn from what life has done for you! Cheers!
