So since you mentioned the "first" video I guess this is part two but they are released out of order? And, I know you mentioned it that the takoyaki dont contain octopus but its literally TAKO (octopus) yaki. I know you know it, but for some reason it still triggers me and I dont know why ^^

If you remember Sanji's bento box that he made in Whole Cake Island arc for Pudding.
It contains all the food that the Strawhats love.
Luffy - Meat
Zoro - White rice and meat(probably sea king meat)
Nami - Tangerines (which was outside the bento box)
Usopp - Fish
Sanji - Pasta
Chopper - Chocolate (outside the box as well)
Robin - Sandwich
Franky - Hamburger
Brook - Curry
And lastly Wine just to compliment everything inside the bento box.
Oh and Jinbe's favorite is Mozuku. Which is seaweed with vinegar.
Maybe we go full circle and make the bento?

The takoyaki was probably the hardest one, I was really struggling between brook and usopp, since I remembered usopp carrying around a thermos of tea and also he's fishing quite often so the seafood associaton was also there
For me it was the octopus buffet when they met Brook
Well for me, i know that brook really loves tea, and usopp usually fish
For me it was the herbal tea that said brook cus he always has a cup

Here are some of things i know from One Piece.
Luffy likes meat a lot.
Zoro loves Booze.
Nami her tangerines.
Ussop actually im a little lost on him.
Sanji i think he likes wine not sure I remember.
Chopper cotton candy.
Robin loves coffee for sure.
Franky the guy runs on Cola.
Brook a cup of tea.
Usopp likes his fish, and Nami likes her ice cream sundaes I think? Wait no, Nami just likes fruit. Sanji likes spicy seafood pasta and things that compliment black tea.
Zoro's favorite food is oni giri.

I knew Nico Robin because several times she asked for Coffee for breakfast
Brook was a thinker at first, but then I remembered that they had the giant octopus buffet when they met him

The Franky and Chopper were easy guesses, I had to think a lot but I guessed Nico Robin right, and the Curry Takoyaki with herbal tea completely threw me in for a loop. I only ever imagined Brook's food to be with some sort of milk. Anyways, great video!

In the Whole Cake Island arc when Sanji makes the big bento for Pudding it had all the Straw Hats favorite food and Brook's favorite food was curry rice.
I remeber hearing Brook likes japenese curry so it was easy for me. And Brook loves his tea. The fact he likes takoyaki was completely new to me

I actually got all of these… my pride as a One Piece fan has been preserved!! The drinks saved me the most on this one. Honestly, I think Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp’s dishes would be very hard to guess, and I think Luffy’s would definitely just be a giant slab of meat lol

I haven't seen one piece since it first started airing in the US, (actually looking at the episode guide I had watched around 100 Episodes as I remember episode 94) but it was still a fun video.
also, I now have another type of takoyaki to make once my takoyaki pan comes in (order has been delayed like 4 times at this point, though that seems to be a recurring issue w/ anything i order lately)
Abigail and the energy she brings reminds me so much of one of my best friends that now lives on the other side of the country, it's great seeing her keep popping up.

I actually got them all right 🤯 the only ones that kinda through me off for a bit was Robin and Brook because I had to think back on who drank more of what beverage before the timeskip I don’t really remember Brook drinking much coffee or Robin very much tea 😅 this was a really fun episode and I’d love to see more!
I always remembered Brook was tea though but I did get the robin one right (I was thinking it was either Nami or Robin)

Nailed all of them. Almost changed the Takoyaki to Chopper because of the floral tea but then I remembered Cotton Candy will always be Chopper's favorite.

I went 4/4 on these! The only one that was a little difficult was Brook, but then I remembered that Brook loves tea. I was thinking Sanji, but the databooks list his favorite food as Konjac so it had to be Brook

Super easy honestly, the paired drinks gave it away for me, Robin loves coffee Brook always has tea and cola fuels Franky. However it all looked really good and in an sbs it was mentioned that curry is brooks favorite food and with the feast after he joined the curry takoyaki was a great choice for Brook.

There's an anime named Yuzu Camp ("Laid-Back Camp"). Very wholesome show about high school girls who like to do winter camping. They do a lot of camper cooking. The ep I'm watching has warming up with Hot Buttered Rum Cows (nonalcoholic rum syrup).

Was able to guess the first 3 just from the drinks alone, franky's burger had me guessing till you said cola. Chopper was waaaay to easy, the second you said "cotton candy", it was over.
I got them all right especially Robin. Brook was a bit of a head scratcher but the moment you told her it was black tea, I knew it was or favorite pervy bag of bones. Yo ho ho ho ho ho!!!!!

I don't watch anime so I got them all wrong. The curry takoyaki dish makes me want some okonomiyaki with octopus, squid, sweet corn, and a lot of green onion, no bonito flakes on top but covered in curry at the end instead.
All of this together should be known as the Straw Hats meal challenge
For the first one, my thoughts immediately went to Robin since she likes sandwiches and she's the only one I've seen drink coffee. Also because of the sweetness and her relationship with Chopper, I felt like that HAD to be her.
1: Robin. Clue was Coffee
2: Brooke. Clue Tea
3: Franky. Come on the character is American. Come on Cola?
4: Chopper. Cotton Candy Pirate nuff said
Such a cool challenge for a One Piece fan.
With the very little knowledge I have on One Piece and the Straw Hats, I thought I'd have fun trying to guess myself.
1. My first guess was Nico Robin as well because the fruity sandwich itself along with the cold brew looks like something an intellectual person would love to snack on as they read a book.
2. I have pretty much zero knowledge of Brook so I was never going to get this one. My guess was Zoro because I felt like tea and takoyaki sounded right with him.
3. One of the only trivia I know about Frankie is his favorite food is hamburgers so I guessed this one correctly.
4. Aside from the mentions in the video, I knew beforehand Chopper liked sweets so this was also a correct guess.
3/4 doesn't seem that bad.

Put just a puff piece of cotton candy on top would that add to make it cotton candy flavor or just melt into the pastry?

When you said before the time skip but after they enter the grand line… all those members are what were on the table. (Luffy, Zoro, Nani, Ussop, and Sanji were before the Grand Line)

Wish you would’ve showed the characters eating the food as well. Because if I’m being honest I have no idea who any of these characters are but seeing a side by side comparison would’ve been helpful. Food looks amazing btw

I got stumped for a second on the Franky dish only because I kept thinking Luffy would like that to and I was a little hesitant on the curry takoyaki because I kept thinking I’ve never seen Brook eat curry but I know I’ve seen them eat takoyaki a bunch of times in the show and then we need to say it with a black tea was like oh that’s Brook
When you try guessing what food is for who but the only thing working is your stomach and salivary gland

This was fun! I wasn't sure about the first one because I immediately thought Nami when you mentioned fruit but when you said coffee..I was like..I don't think Nami is into coffee then I thought Brook because he always has that little cup which I later realized is a tea cup lol Franky's was easy because he's american and burgers very much a staple in the USA and Choppers was easy because he lovess sweets, hes the sweetest. I'm curious to know what you would've made for Sanji, Zoro and Luffy. Zoro's would probably be easy though since it would be paired with some type of alcohol lol

I knew the first one was either robin or brook but couldn't decide which one, second was easy to figure out it was brook with the tea. and yea last two were pre simple.

As a former pro baker I agree with your decision. Baking bread is not like cooking there is so much more... Waiting. And sourdough and brioche specifically are more time consuming.

The second one was the only one that was remotely difficult. And honestly the drinks gave it away more than the food.
I guessed robin first because she drinks coffee a lot, but man that threw me off with the fruit in the sandwiches, brook second because he was first shown drinking tea and it's curry flavoured (he likes curry), and the last 2 were obvious i don't need to explain my thinking.

1st: I hear coffee, so I'm thinking Nico Robin - Got it!
2nd: Takoyaki.. well Luffy loves Takoyaki, but Luffy loves like anything. Since it's combined with Curry I'll got with Usopp for this one. - Damn it, didn't even consider Brook for this one. Should've thought about it again after the black tea probably..
3rd: Burger, Franky, done. - yep
4th: Cotton Candy, Chopper - yeah..
Well now I'm angry at myself for getting Brook wrong, but I really enjoyed the video!
what's your go-to method for measuring a cold brew water-to-bean ratio? i own a cold brew filter/pitcher and i have no idea how many beans i need to how much water to use in the brew.
Ngl, I wing it and just fill my cold Brew contraption with beans and add water. The most I try to control is the grind of the bean
