- The video of the first Type 075 LHD Hainan 31. It was commissioned on 21 April 2021. It shows the interior layout, elevator, flight deck ops, amongst others.
The Type 075 landing helicopter dock (NATO reporting name Yushen-class landing helicopter assault) is a class of Chinese amphibious assault ship under construction by the Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding company for the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN). It has a full-length flight deck for helicopter operations and features a floodable well deck from which to disembark hovercraft and armored amphibious assault vehicles.

This ships no joke. If the finish the 8 planned they will be well on the way to competing with the US
Yep, especially for all of cjinas small neighbours, and especially taiwan. Coupled with China's 2 soon to be 3-4 carriers, and 8 of these babies, along with type 55, type 71, China's 80 subs, and the dozens of modern state of the art destroyer like type 52D or type 54, and of course China's land based assets like its whole 1000+ modern jets and coastal anti air and anti ship missile batteries, basically means no one can mess with China within 1000km of Chinas coast. This also includes the South China Seas. Not even USA can save Taiwan even if it's purely a conventional non nuclear war, let alone small neighbours like Taiwan, who sees China's buildup and current capabilities yet still talks like they are the tough guy and taking an escalatory tone of speech rather than trying to deescalate. Quite hilarious since like I said, no one can save Taiwan if war actually happens, even if the whole world wanted to with 1000% resolve..

Back after two years. I’m still impressed with the type 075 but not as much as I was before. This ship isn’t built like Americas. I’m not sure why they went cheap and simple. 150 million USD would have got them a much better ship. It’s a large shipping container at the end of the day. All of the decks need to be reinforced.
