Jo-El was such a nice guy and wonderful performer. He will be truly missed. He left this world doing what he loved the most. He had just left the stage after getting a standing ovation for singing “Tear Stained Letter”, then was called to do an encore which was Jambalaya. After leaving the stage he had a massive heart attack and passed. This was in Texas on 1/13/24. RIP Mr Sonnier. I’m sure you have them on their feet there in heaven.
Miss him and ms Bobbie so much. It's been so long since I've seen them. We lost our mother back in 2011, she really enjoyed seeing jo-el perform all summer long in Michigan.
