Over 3 hours long, this installment was jam packed with great info. I saw it live and even though I have many years of experience working with these materials, even I learned stuff I did not know. Well worth the watch!

I lived across the street from Smooth-On when you were at 1000 Valley Road in Stirling N.J.. Since there was no internet in the 70's and 80's I never knew what you manufactured. It wasn't until your PMC-724 Elastomer started being used for Motion Picture air Bladders and the stretching face in "An American Werewolf In London" that I figured it out.

I appreciated hearing about the needling pour with the very high viscosity product after vacuum degassing and the beautiful end result! Your explanations are extremely helpful here in successful product creation in the end result, so very much appreciated! Thank you!

This is great, thank You! I have a question though, I m trying to copy miniature 1:24 scale car tires (they are extremely detailed, and expensive too), what material would you recommend, it needs to be like rubber, and what should I use for casting material, thak You!

Hello, I have some questions about painting,
Its there the possibility of making a paint mix from platinum silicone cure, and for platinum cure silicone? So it can have its propertis.
Or in case you want a fading effects in color,
Do you recommend applying a thin fast curing platinum cure silicone on the mold, and in the middle of curing add the rest with platinum cure (being a more viscous version) with the base color?
    Example:
Thin (Body Double Fast Set) and thick (Ecoflex 00-31 Near Clean )
    Thanks in advance :)

We would recommend using Psycho Paint, a platinum silicone paint base, for bet adhesion: www.smooth-on.com/product-line/psycho-paint/

Hi all. I need to make thin silicone strands, 1,5 mm in diameter and about 300 mm long. We make BDSM floggers and I want to make these strands for the sensual flogger. I am thinking that extruding the strands may work. Does anyone have any inputs or advice please?

You should not mix tin and platinum in the same project.
