LYRICS (As if you didn't already see them on the screen, duh)
Rescue me, I need you by my side
You're all I got, I ain’t ever gonna stop,
Hoping you will set me free, Lord, Rescue me
Ayyy, Imma need your help. I feel like I am trapped in a cold jail cell
I feel like I am walking through the middle of Hell
Like I’m by myself, but I ain’t giving up now
My enemies they’re all around me, they are shouting
BrySi, it looks like you’re drowning
I’m calling You for help, cause You are like a shield about me
Your love is great, and Your grace knows no boundaries
Sights are set, I am locked and loaded, even though my soul
Feels bruised and broken
My Spirit flies high like an Eagle floating
I see the whole world, and it’s only cause you’ve
Rescue me, I need you by my side
I ain't ever gonna stop, you're all I've got,
Hoping you will set me free, Lord, Rescue me
The wise are put to shame, the proud confounded
When they hear my King and my Savior crowned with
Thorns on a rough wood cross behind Him
Forgave even those who beat and bound Him
Be my rock, and my refuge LORD
For this much my heart is sure
I never needed one like You before
Until I felt death knocking at my door
My life has been made brand new
Never before, and never again, Has there been someone like you
You did not forsake me
You keep me from darkness, You lead me to safety
Rescue me, I need you by my side
I ain't ever gonna stop, you're all I've got,
Hoping you will set me free, Lord, Rescue me
If you were standing right here, close beside me
You’d probably say AYY, I got you Bryan
Remember the time David killed the Giant
The 10 foot tall Philistine Goliath
One little rock through the air went flying
No scope slingshot, popped his eyelids
His enemy laid there, slowly dying
While his enemy friends were there sniffling, crying
Whenever I’m weak, You'll guide my stones
No matter how I feel, I am never alone
You are the King, in the Heavens, You sit on the throne
Give life to these old dry bones and
Rescue me, I need you by my side
I ain't ever gonna stop, you're all I've got,
Hoping you will set me free, Lord, Rescue me Видеоклипы

BrySi - The Rap Prophet Are you gonna do an Infinite Warfare rap? 😊
Michael Martinez i hope not
BrySi - The Rap Prophet I am going to miss the video game raps but I will support you no matter what
Michael Martinez hahahaha
+BrySi - The Rap Prophet Is the Lord Good though? Before we go on lets remind ourselves this being has not been proven but nevertheless .. This is an outrageous assertion without evidence. And raises many questions and a fundamental problem. Now if you want to give credit for the good, it seems fair you have to give credit for the bad. What makes you certain of this? How do you know he is good? Every religious person says how can it be an accident.. The beauty of this world, the way people help each-other etc. There is a great deal of evidence that the collision of our galaxy and that of andromeda is going to happen.. why would a creator be so interested in our little corner of the universe only to be destroyed? The sun will most likely die in it's last stages and fry us rather the occupants inhabiting earth at this time. I can go on.. 98.8 percent of all life on earth has gone extinct and we came close... why would he allow this to happen. Some designer. If someone wants to take credit for this creation, let them take credit for the whole thing and for all the despair, misery that goes with it. For all the babies that are born without brains at all, or with cancer, or with no chance of living beyond a day. Who’s responsible for that? In what mysterious ways does the divinity move when this occurs? Wouldn’t you rather think, harsh as it is that at least it was all random? But no, the solipsism must go on.
Nothing imperfect can come from a perfect god -- that is a logical contradiction -- and we can clearly see that we live in an imperfect world.God knew that mankind would rebel before he created us, seeing as he's omniscient (all-knowing), yet he created us anyway, and then punished us for doing exactly what he knew we'd do. It is immoral to make an entire species pay the price for what two members of said species did -- that is not loving, nor is it kind. I assume this the same god that made the deal with Satan, his archenemy, that God will keep all the righteous for himself and Satan can keep all the sinners for himself to torture for eternity? Oh and just to keep things interesting, we'll make everyone imperfect and see what pans out. Sounds like a just, loving, wise and powerful creator to me.
Also if you believe God is good and has a hand in 'saving' you or another or has a hand in doing the good, you must also have to believe God has a hand in millions of children dying slow and agonising lives by lack of pure drinking water. If you claim the one the have to claim the other. Otherwise you are being a la carte. If you are going to claim the good things in the world to be gifts from a deity because he is the creator and controller and is all protecting, you have to claim he is also behind the evil in this world too. The times where he clearly was not there to 'protect'. The times where children have been abused by his vicars on earth. The times where prayers were not answered and blessings not fulfilled. You have to credit this God to that too. Which again begs the question is God all good? I get so exasperated at wilful self deception. If you believe that God is all power, all knowing, and all good then it is obviously inconsistency to say that that God doesn't know how to build a world without sin. Either he is all powerful and wants sin in which case he isn't all good, or he is all good but doesn't know how to stop them in which case is he not all powerful.
_Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?_
_Then he is not omnipotent._
_Is he able, but not willing?_
_Then he is malevolent. _
_Is he both able and willing?_
_Then whence cometh evil?_
_Is he neither able nor willing?_
_Then why call him God?"_
-- Epicurus
It really breaks my heart to see people giving God credit for the achievements of mankind. Of course. Those medical professionals, doctors, surgeons and rescuers who worked their asses off didn't do anything. It was all God. How could I have been so stupid? It’s the way the Universe works, and always has: action-reaction, decision-consequence, causality in a nutshell. Which is exactly why I find it very hard to tolerate the people that not only decide to blame every misfortune on some person in the sky, not only thank said person for every accomplishment they’ve ever had, but also try very hard to convince me that if I cross a 6 lane road in full traffic and get run over, it was the will of the magical person in the sky, and not a direct result of my obvious idiocy. In every case we have better explanations for why most things happen. We know what cause the flood and what killed the people and how others were saved... postulating a god in this is unnecessary and brings more questions than it answers. Besides by letting this happen, does that make god not all good and capricious, callous and indifferent? This was my point in my first comment: anyone who says they know God's mind in this had better not mind looking a bit foolish or had better say take responsibility - take responsibility and say, yes, by letting this flood happen, or letting the other people die, God must in some way wish it to. That is being rational. That is all I want to hear. Someone being logical and open-minded.
I assume this is falls under the category _'Everything happens for a reason'_ bullshit. The fact is that faith, by definition, is not reasonable. If it could be empirically verified with facts or by using the scientific method, it wouldn’t be faith. It would be a theory. Also, consider how such a pithy phrase sounds to someone who was raped. Do you really mean to tell them there’s a reason that happened? Better to be quiet, listen and if appropriate, mourn alongside them. But don’t dismiss grief or tragedy with such a meaningless phrase. -- What about people with mental illness? What about people in war-torn countries who are tortured to death? What about the millions of Jews murdered in the Holocaust? And this also implies that, if really horrible things are happening to you, God “gave” it to you. Is this a test? Am I being punished? Is God just arbitrarily cruel? --Telling someone who was raped, abused, tortured, neglected, died in agony & fear etc. that God was in control during that experience likely is enough to incent that person to turn from the concept of God forever, you do realise that don't you. That is what you are basically saying. -- This is a very unattractive thing to say. First, it implies a power/privilege imbalance (ie, _“I’m saved, but I’m guessing you’re not based on some assumptions I’m making about you"_), and it also leaps over the hurdle of personal investment and relationship, straight into the deep waters of personal faith.
If the Lord punishes another for falling into some sort of deceitful trap and is still a good person is going to hell, which seems to be the case, seems like he is not good. A person who is extremely nice and good but has to believe in in the Lord to get to heaven and if he doesn't is therefore going to hell. Does that not warrant a question about bad people can get into heaven if they just accept god? So god create hell just incase you don't love him back? What does that say about god? And what does that say about this so called after life.
It is a marvelous beautiful and hostile world we live in.. I can accept that, but if one wants to assert a designer behind this It must take credit for the hostility and not just the hostility of our little planet of our solar system but many of the other planets it decided to extinguish and it's possible occupants. But they do not. This may be the most frustrating part of the religious repertoire. They praise Jesus when they get what they want, as if Jesus has acted on their behalf, but if their 3 year old drowns in a pool, they don't say, "Praise the Lord!" If the drought was stopped by a God, or you got a raise at work because of a God, then your dead child, or your broken down car should also warrant a big ol Praise Him!!! Yet, it never does. Instead of praising him for killing their baby, they beg on their knees to the murderous bastard to stop screwing them over. But, something something, mysterious ways, something. Boggles the mind!
It's all explained. Innate Human Solidarity and Morality. Simple. We have an innate sense of empathy built into us that compels us to treat others well. Why? You are entitled to ask.. Well you and me would not be here typing. Our species would not have survived, if we didn't have, as well as many selfish instincts, the need, and often for our own sake, to be of use to others, to combine with them, to take an interest in them, to care for them, and to worry when they're in pain. Any more assumptions on this can be disregarded.
So you think he is "good".. you can believe if you so wish but you have to accept that but it does raise many questions. God is in control. God knows better. God is Good. It raises a fundamental problem, Telling someone who was raped, abused, tortured, neglected, etc. that God was in control or knows better or is Good during that experience seems not only wrong but what does that say about God? But look at me rambling on..Apologies.
You can believe all these things, I am not saying not to. But at-least stand up and take responsibility and say if God is Good he is also Bad. If you claim he is good, you have to claim the bad. You might push it off and move the goalposts and say:
*a)* _'Everything happens for a reason_ (see above) - consider how such a pithy phrase sounds to someone who was raped. Do you really mean to tell them there’s a reason that happened?
*b)* _"Well god didn't create evil, satan did."_ Well who created Satan? I thought God created everything, did he not? and if he is all-knowing as Christians tend to claim, he created satan knowing satan would create evil. It is self-refuting, circular reasoning with a dab of special pleading.
*c)* _"We have free will"_ No god did not give us free will... if he did that negates the meaning behind it... _"You have free will because I command you to have it"_ It goes against the meaning of free will.. it's nonsense. We have no choice but to have it. We make our own decisions? but if we don't pick the ones he likes we are going to hell? How is that free will? God: _"you have free will but if you don't obey my rules your going to hell"_... not really free will is it especially once you are commanded it... it's self-cancelling. Does a baby have free will when he/she dies in childbirth? or was it the mothers wrong doings that caused the baby to die? There are too many questions for these assumptions. The world works without it. I am not sure free will makes sense. To elaborate, free will is expressed how? Through deliberate action--> "I think then I do". But what about the thought in the first place? Am I authoring that thought? I mean, if I have free will, then I must be God gives you free will to do whatever you want as well as original sin, then punishes you for having free will and being a sinner.
There are too many unnecessary questions and assumptions for a plausible answer that a) God exists b) he is good To me, it is neither comforting nor rational to believe that God could have stopped it a tragedy or saved all of the people in this tragedy, but did not. If an omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent God could have prevented it but did not, then he is either negligent or incompetent. And making a second appeal to him via incantations and prayers, with nothing but a silent reply--it only shows his cruelty. So do your God's name a favour, don't pray. If God exists, he has to begin with a series of heartfelt apologies to his creations--his negligence and incompetence allowing for and leading to unnecessary pain and suffering of all the sentient beings who have ever lived and died on earth. How about children who die at a young age who barely had a chance of life. I notice when people say, _“Look at all we have to be thankful for,”_ or, _“Look at what’s so wonderful,”_ , they mean when the baby falls out of the window and bounced on the soft roof of a car, don’t they? They say, _“Oh, God had it his hand.”_ They’ve nothing to say when the ditches are full of dead babies and no one did a thing. Look at the beauty of the design of the plague vassilis or the incredible eagerness and hunger and ruthlessness and beauty of the cancer cell or the cobra. Who created all this, is what I want to know? If someone wants to take credit for this creation, let them take credit for the whole thing and for all the despair, misery that goes with it. For all the babies that are born without brains at all, or with cancer, or with no chance of living beyond a day. Who’s responsible for that? In what mysterious ways does the divinity move when this occurs? Wouldn’t you rather think, harsh as it is that at least it was all random? But no, the solipsism must go on. Like I said before, If you claim one you have to claim it all.
I could argue the Lord God is a monster, a horrible monster that knowingly created us sick and ordered us on pain of death to be well again and for this, for the original sin he graciously gifted us in the first place, we are told we are born with this sin on our shoulders and to praise and grovel like slaves to a tyrannical dictator to be well again and be accepted in his kingdom.
God gives you free will to do whatever you want as well as original sin, then punishes you for having free will and being a sinner. Why would anybody respect and worship a god who uses us as his play thing, created us sick and gave us free will to wash his hands clean of his imperfect creation.
But that would be too "rambly"... for now I just want to depict the fundamental flaw in what people assert saying the Lord is good.
Just two things that have been nagging me: If Jesus could heal the blind, why did he not heal blindness? Why would God create homosexuals in order to punish and torture them?

This is a really well constructed song Brysi. I'm not exactly religious but I can definitely see the appeal to anyone who is.
