Nice selection there I must say!
Another honourable mention for this topic would be GNR J52 no 1247 as that had travelled to Sacramento at some point in the early 90s.

Thanks for putting the Canadian hunslets in there. In a way I wish they stayed over here because there all within a two hour driving distance of me but the majority of them weren’t getting the care they deserve and I know statfold takes good care of them.

Oh also do you happen to have more information about them? I can’t find much online.

In the caption you accidentally stated that M7 No. 30053 was built by the LMS at Crewe Works in 1938. It was, of course, built by the LSWR at Nine Elms in 1905.

I wish someone would repatriate another gcr 8K from Australia or the middle east. That would be great. I really like those engines.

Nice compilation, this video showed what fate the SAR 7A had after its adventure at the Whipsnade Zoo.
I don't know for how long it had operated there but saw it mentioned in a list of preserved SAR locomotives from 1984.
Apparently it was in the Shildon museum in this video but where is it normally based now?
Do another episode if you get more footage, this one didn't cover all repatriates.
I know about 2 other cape gauge SAR locomotives in the UK, the GL class Garratt in the MOSI, and the class 15F in the Glasgow museum of Transport.
I have seen them both and they are true giants.

It was built in the UK at the Boston Lodge works of the Ffestiniog railway for the owner of the Darj. locomotive. It is a replica of the SR&RL parlour car.

I'm assuming you just don't have any footage of locos on the L&B, but practically every loco except Lyn is a repatriated loco there.
