Lol I cringed and I'm American. I mean, we don't have anything like that here as far as I know, but being that I have access to the internet I was fully aware you dilute it. At this point I thought it was common knowledge 🤷🏾
And every American cringed when tom used chili for his sloppy Joes rather than ground beef, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce. Ingredients that you can find, even in Britain! Especially since Worcestershire sauce is British!

My mouth was burning in sympathy when Jeff swigged that Ribena straight up. But the fish and chips look amazing, it’s got me craving my local chippys large chips, with loads of salt and vinegar, and a pot of curry sauce 🤤 I’m biased, but the British menu is definitely the best!

He drank his straight because in America its not normal for us to dilute any of our drinks. We just grab and go. The only thing that we do is if we are making something homemade like lemonade or using a powder like kool-aid, or tang anything like that. :)

I'm from Jersey and I'm today years-old when I learned Ribena had to be diluted. i've had it before, but it was already served poured and diluted. I almost want to try it straight from the bottle now.
I like that Jeff complains about the colour of the food, but that everything he gave Tom was also varying shades of brown, aside from the blueberries. In fact, I think the food Tom gave Jeff was actually MORE colourful!

Chicken and waffles is very common for dinner in the south. It depends where you’re from. Some places in the US serve it for breakfast while others serve them for lunch or dinner.

@@hifriede8581 I’ve never had a full english, but it does seem like a lot while pancakes can be on the lighter side depending on how many and what type they are.
I have had these cinnamon roll pancakes, they where amazing but also the size of the plate. I do not recommend eating them if you plan to eat anything else for the rest of the day

Those smaller thick pancakes are popular in the uk..sometimes called ‘pikelets’ in South Wales. My nan cooked them on a skillet every birthday & pancake day. I didn’t try the crepe pancakes until I was about 15

I just discovered the Scotch egg about a year ago...I LOVE THEM 🤤 I maybe “Americanized” mine...I eat them while warm and have a side of country gravy (white ..like biscuit/gravy type) to dip it in 🤷🏻♀️ and its amazing 😁
