What is YOUR Indian takeaway then?👇👇😋
chicken bhuna, lamb bhuna and prawn bhuna, mushroom rice, bag of chips, keema naan and nine poppadoms
@@Charlzton fire 🔥
Next time find an actual Indian restaurant & not a Pakistani one larping as Indian.. coz no Indian restaurant will serve Peshawari(Pakistani) naan. All their dishes looked sad, pathetic & cheap copy of Indian food.
Out of the entire Indian cuisine the only food these guys got as takeaway was a North Western Indian cuisine..sheesh..the team organizing could have done better
Considering the diverse cuisine India has..Was this the best takeaway these guys could order..beats logic!
BuzzfeedUK literally screwed up the entire thing. All 4 ordered from North Western Indian cuisine/Pakistani cuisine..What a epic fail..And why is the first lady in the video she is least interested..
You can tell no one explores other dishes on the menu 😂
we need BuzzFeed India to recommend us some orders !
@@itshellosepi yeah !
😅😅
@@itshellosepi Well have a mutton briyani with raita,Tandoori chicken, brinjal khatta, dalcha and eggs on the side. Have bread halwa and Firni for dessert. That's a marriage feast in india
@@salempasangasp😵💫😵💫
I don't stan the Palak Paneer slander when all of their other dishes practically came along with the same flavour profile.
Thank you for defending my honour 😂
One of my faves
Yeah.. Palak paneer doesn't taste like spinach at all.
I love palak paneer
It's a great dish, but common these are British they hate their veggies
I swear Brits only know like 5% of Indian Food and that all 5% is all from North India. This is the reason I am not liking any "foreigners try Indian food" videos because I bet it's only all about Naan, Biryani, Chicken tikka or Butter Chicken and Palak paneer
Please don’t tar everyone with the same brush based on a Buzzfeed video 🙄
@@redeye1016😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Isn’t this something that Indians then need to remedy. Like the Thai government used to loan out money to their diaspora to open Thai restaurants in order to promote Thai tourism. Maybe this problem lies not in the west but back home in India where entrepreneurs aren’t willing to be bold and introduce regional Indian cuisine.
@@redeye1016ohh so you know any other dish of India ...
Come on name 10
As an Indian, I wish they could try and taste alll the other variety of food that we Indians have to offer other than the yellow curry that is mostly seen in shaadis.
Why do y’all always say “as an Indian”?? No one asked.
@@Kiran37369 Typical ignorance. Of course an Indian would have a better idea of the quality of their cuisine
@@beeleerosie no one asked tho. That’s the thing. Just say your opinion and leave
@@Kiran37369 Who the fuck about your opinion Bsdk
Just get the fuck out of it
🔥
The way Buzzfeed chose their most uncultured people for this video 😂
I wanted free food
@@adaenechi6723 you could’ve had free food with some flavour 👀
I'm sorry the concept of being "uncultured or cultured" with respect to what your favorite or go to order with respect to any cuisine is absurd. Now if your trying to say the orders were not bougie enough for you well guess it sucks to be you.
@@Charlzton tbh we didn’t pick the restaurant and that food was very meh
Loool 😅
Someone introduce them to Bangalore masala dosa, Chennai idli sambar, kerala fish curry, Andra biryani and goan vindoloo. I love Naan too but there's better stuff!!!
Next time
The people prefer North Indian food there. Reason being they don't like sambhar and rasams because of the spice intolerance. The only thing they end up liking is the dosa crepe
Hyderabad biryani @@buzzfeedUK
Why is everyone ordering rice and naan/roti. Its like everyone is following a template 😂. Some version of rice + some version if naan + a curry + a thing of your choice.
Lol
Because that’s what they want to eat? Lol.
Nobody got anything too spicy. I expected at least a madras but a vindaloo would have been interesting to watch 😂
We still have work straight after filming
@@adaenechi6723 would have made it even funnier 🤣
Noted!
I was gonna get vindaloo the next time I tried Indian, now I’m scared.
Vindaloo is BOMB
As an Indian, I already know this is either going to be so painful that I'll cut the video short or they actually have some good orders other than the four banal things that people always order.
So what was it?
Banal things. This video is like us trying pasta with some salt and pepper and thinking, “yeah, all Italian food must taste like this”
@@buzzfeedUKWell, I watched the entire video, so that says something.
Soooo.. where is the Indian food at?
Lol
It's British Indian
I am completely on board with Ada's assertion that sweet foods and savory meals (ie lunch and dinners) should not be combined.
👏
TBF... That lady either has serious manufacturing issues with her taste buds, or the restaurant sucks. None of those dishes are supposed to be 'sweet'. I often use a bit [ 1/2 - 1 tsp ] of sugar in most of my cooking but they are 'never' 'sweet'. Because the way we add sugar doesn't make the food sweet, but 'enhances' the flavours of the spices.
So, they couldn't find four people who like Indian food? That being said ... I liked her and thought she was still a fun edition to the video. They need to do her favorite food next.
Love the idea of having someone who doesn’t usually order to judge and explore new things!
Noted
You know you're obsessed with ATEEZ when you identify their t-shirt with most of the logo covered up. 🤣
😮 I’ve been found out 😂😂😂😂😂
great profile photo btw 😁
Hanifah on Jack's Pasanda; I feel like this isn't gonna be spicy.
Also Hanifah; Prawn Pasanda.
Punjabi-American here.. Palak paneer is the best dish to exist hands down!!
So good!
Nope. Not gonna take that opinion from an NRI. Definitely not from an Indian born American
Palak paneer is my favorite Indian dish!😊
So good
I know im no Indian takeaway connoisseur I have a long way to go! I think our friends at BuzzFeed India need to recommend us some of their orders….. 👀
Yeah !
Well for starters these are all Pakistani dishes. UK has a big problem where Pakistani restaurants disguise themselves as Indian restaurants and fool the public to think they are eating authentic Indian food. It is not Indian by any means.
Some Indian food suggestions : dosa, idly, beef parotta, chicken or mutton (meat) bhuna masala, chicken or mutton (meat) biryani, malai kofta ( it's a vegetarian not spicy) chicken or meat pulao (it's like one pot meal not spicy) , rice and sambhar, rice and rasam, Kerala fish curry, fish fry.
Or just find an actual Indian restaurant & not a Pakistani one larping as Indian.. coz no Indian restaurant will serve Peshawari(Pakistani) naan. All their dishes looked sad, pathetic & cheap copy of Indian food.
Masala Dosa with all the chutneys, Gobi 65, and anything paneer
That was a terrible restaurant to use, all their curries look the same, and they cook the prawns in its shell??? so now you have to use your hands to get the meat out in the curry. Got to eat it naked, curry stains.
So pumped if this series is making a real comeback ❤
It is!
I'm here to say there's lot in Indian food rather than the Naan and chicken Tikka Masala 🫠
I've never seen ppl who didn't like palak paneer 😭
Ya I think they didn't make it properly, cus one of them said she can smell the spinach and that's a failed palak paneer if you can the palak
Now you have
Haha! True! They somehow probably managed to find the 'blandest' Palak Paneer in the whole of the UK.
@@178som: Clearly not sautéd & seasoned properly. It's a dish that can be totally screwed up if you're not good at it.
its nice seeing sepi here i remember watching that jolly video with her and her dad :)
Drooling. I’m gluten free & in the states- my Indian order is usually tandoori chicken & aloo gobi. Sometimes paneer. Chicken curry is amazing too
Sounds great!
Not even a flicker of spice in any of these! Needed at least one different kind of order, surely...
Haha
The Palak Paneer can be made moderately spicy. The restaurant probably makes it 'bland' for the Brits.
I did say I was just there to eat! However if the restaurant had my usual order I’m convinced I would have won…maybe next time
nobody appreciates the allure of just getting some free food for fun sometimes lel
Maybe next time
Well that blows they didn't have your favorite dish on the menu. Buzzfeed let the lady order from the place that has her standard order.
I’m with Ada- hate the taste of cilantro/coriander. Just personal preference
Ya cilantro/coriander is one of them love it or hate it items.@@ladyramen7655
Not surprised the Persian girl likes the paneer dish. Looks like khodesh sabzi lol
😂😂😂😂 it’s so goood! Paneer is so delicious you know the deal hahaha
Congratulations on trying just 1% percent of Indian menu. loved the video❤
Lol
I quite enjoyed this. Much better than the usual uploads. Hope to see more content like this going forward.
I loved the hater girl haha, the one with braids in grey sweater, because I am the same haha, I am weird with food and don't like a lot of things. So relatable, loves it. 😂
Glad you enjoyed!
Well you want an Indian feast lemme give you an Indian feast then. Here's the order.
Start with rumali roti with a side of pepper chicken gravy, chicken tikka skewer,
Tandoori chicken leg, raita, brinjal khatta, Chicken 65,fried eggs, dalcha on the side.
A delicious Mutton briyani for the main dish. And to finish it off Bread halwa and Firni. After these have a Cool soda.
It'd be the best Indian meal you'll ever have
I don't understand how this people who eats boiled foods rates 6 or 7 to Indian dishes 😂
What would be interesting is have the BuzzFeed India gang rate their orders and then have BuzzFeed UK rate there iconic British take away orders. Ada excellent attitude who can complain when someone else is paying for the meal. :) Now BuzzFeed give some thought to my suggestion about the collaboration.
I’m confused should I compliment something just because it’s free?
And how would they get each others orders? Like genuinely?
Awesome suggestion.
BRILLIANT 🎉
As an average Indian from India, I haven't eaten most of these dishes
I’m surprised people only order one sauce.
Me too
USA notes. no expert but I had to Google PASANDA.. and the word " Hench" lol
More of these videos!
More to come!
Huge fan of Sepi !
Hey I just subscribed to your channel. I'm from Australia. I like butter chicken 🍛 . I also like rice with chicken tikka masala and garlic naan bread and papadums .
Welcome!!
@@buzzfeedUK thank you
Just understand one thing abt Indian food it's not always spicy it should be flavourful and very tasty and even a little aromatic
These all are the kind of people at a group ordering to order a korma and tuck into the bhuna 😉🤣
Does Jack have a girlfriend because i’m in love with him
loved everyone’s honesty
You’re welcome
How did no-one order biriyani 😢
Ada's order was my favorite in this video. My usual Indian takeaway order is; a keema naan (I eat it as my starter), plain basmati rice and chicken madras or chicken dopiaza as my main, and, occasionally, a sweet lassi to drink.
How about trying each other’s Austrian food orders (or if you don‘t have that German food orders)? 😊
Also I feel like trying each other’s salad orders or soup orders would be really fun bc ppl tend to have very divided & heated opinion on those 😂
There is so much more to Indian dishes than rice and naan and chicken tikka and all that.. you are missing out on so many delicious dishes
Well all those orders are borderline rubbish😂😂😂 they literally haven't tried anything new for their orders
Next time then
@@buzzfeedUK yes please do it better with proper research next time because this is just plain boring. Nothing beyond rice, naan, butter paneer or chicken. There's more to it
Jack can use spoon. 👀
Wow that jack is something else 😍
I wish I could have done this episode for the people of Britain frfr. Respectfully of course.
India needs to sue you guys
Lmao
Oh no hahah
You're finally back
Where is the Rogan Josh or Keema? 😢
Right? 😢 I guess it'll just have to be in our hearts and our tummies ❤
@@dodette Along with the desserts and drinks 🍻
@@abhishekpriyadarshi2433 well now I have to have a masala chai or a mango lassi or I'll simply perish! 😭Next time you order a takeaway know I'll be waiting for a cheers 😊🍻
@@dodette Fun fact: my takeaways are currently South East Asian (Malaysian/Indonesian) 🙈
Mango lassi reminds me of childhood 😁
Although my current favourite Indian dessert is a (saffron) Kesar Lassi or Kesar Rasmalai 😁
The fun fact is that many Indians don't even tasted butter chicken that much there are many other great chicken dishes as compared to butter chicken
Exactly! Because we'd only order 'Butter Chicken' if there's a
Lots of very mild dishes here. Would be good to see some spicy ones too.
Saying that, I personally love creamy, buttery curries, but that's because I'm not a big fan of the tomato-based ones. I love a butter chicken balti or murgh mahkani 🥰
My order is Chicken Madras Skinny Fries, Nan Bread 🥹🥹🥹
Look the universe full of Indian food, but I'm gonna order only one thing again and again!
They all had such different opinions lol
Please get ride of Ada
I missed these vids. I am surprised no one ordered meat. Lamb balti with a buttered chapatti yummy.
Next time!
@@buzzfeedUK Please 🙏😂
Wanted free food, but we don't want free advise.
Pappadam..Being a Keralite it made me happy❤
Would love to be on this show
I’m here to watch Sepi. The rest is just there.
Hahah
My order is Chicken Korma with Coconut Rice and Peshwari Naan with Poppadoms
Now they don't avoid Indian takeaway
No lassi?
This was a sad video. I couldn't finish it. As an Indian I felt like inviting them for lunch at my home just to make them aware there is Indian food beyond Nan and 'curry' .
At the end of video i realised they wanted to say Pulav rice not pilau rice😂😂
I knew what the dishes were gonna be before I watched the video
I couldn’t concentrate after finding out Jack is half Flip???? Like where is the Flip? Lol ❤️🇵🇭
jack is beautiful
And is 😍😍😍
So no one ordered biriyani or kababs on a takeaway order 😅
Shocking
Guys.. Thanks you tried Indian food.. Little corrections.. It's Papad not papadam.. It's Pulav not pilav.. And Indian food makes spicy.. not mild spicy or sweet.. It's should be spicy.. And guys we have thousands of verity in veg food and you can't imagine how many dishes in non vegetarian food.. You should try some are those.. Thanks again.. And keep it up 🙏🏻 Namaste
Did no one of them have tried Murg dam kali mirch ,Rogan josh, Murg musallam, Mutton kadai ,Murg Lababdar ,Chicken rezala😢😢
You can eat yogurt if you’re lactose intolerant 🌠
Saying palu rice is menta😂😂
pappadum/appalum with a meat curry is weird to me LOL
i thought buzzfeed was dead.
I’d get Lamb Korma, Samosa chaat, Garlic naan, and mango lassi!
What is pasanda? Even as an Indian i never heard of it
As an Indian from India, I genuinely want to know wtf is a Pasanda?
I'm not familiar with Indian cuisine. Is it basically the same things with different flavors? They all seemed to order the same type of food?
Nope. Indian cuisine has varieties. But all 4 of them almost ordered the same stuff.
@@narayanimanapadam65 thanks!
most Indian takeout in the UK is basically just the interpretation of Bangladeshi immigrants (different country) of Delhi-Punjabi cuisine with hints from other parts of India and molded to fit a western palate, for eg: using heavy cream or deglazing your pan (french technique). It tastes good, but as an Indian it is annoying because we prob have one of the most diverse cuisines of any country.
Feeling pity for the lives without spices😭😭😭😂😂
But which type of indian takeaway are we talking about here...
I’m surprised no one gets butter chicken
Literally one of the BEST f*****g things I’ve tasted in my life SO FAR.
As an Indian, sweet rice, sweet curry, sweet Naan, a big NO!
Chicken Bhuna, pilau rice, garlic nan(cheese if you’d like) mango chutney and poppadoms, end of imo
Even betterwith some veggie pakora
SOUTH Indian cuisine Do Check out- WEsterns First encounter with their Appetite with their flooded North Indian Punjabi cuisine...
California and NY including BOSTON has SOUTH Indian Cuisine.. Please do check out...
Bollywood and Hindi are not the only ones.. But you need to check there are 24 states 24 languages with URBAN & RURAL Cusines... and Famous Portugal Union territories- GOA and Pondicherry in SOUTH India..
It's not Indian food . Its Delhi-Punjab food with Papad from Taminadu (maybe some other region of South not sure though)
0 East West & South cuisine
Just gonna add to this that all of the food tasted sweet because they are made for white/English peoples palette go to India and then try saying that indian food is sweet
Honestly disappointed that these orders were all so similar and very basic. No fish pakora? No vindaloo, korma, aloo gobi, roghan josh? And only one person each for raita & chutneys? Crazy.
Never seen papad being eaten with chicken and prawns😆😆 except maybe if you go the kori rotti way.
And how did no one get Biryani!!!
It's funny none of them ordered a side of daal but still ordered papad. lol
That's not indians eat.
Why these foreigners think that india means only delhi or north states.
If you really wanna try some flavours, then look down to south. Specially telugu food.
Should've ordered biryaani too. Cuz If ask an Indian about takeaways, its always the Biryani.
I cannot understand Sweet foods that are not deserts too. So i understand Ada.
Culture thing? I dunno
just curious what is pilau rice? is that pulao? or something else on itself.
it's the rice version of "Naan Bread". 🤭
@@RonBhattacharya or I guess chai tea?🤣
@@hbinitials7: Haha! But to be fair we Bengalis here also say things like "Prawn Fish" and "Whale Fish". 😆
@@RonBhattacharya tf fish after every name
@@hbinitials7: Yepp. Funny thing is Bengalis love Prawns (especially Jumbo Prawns that are the size of small lobsters)... and are generally pretty science-inclined...

"Pappadam" not poppadom 💀
LOL Ada saltyyyy
