And from what I understand all of these issues were from solved in the original release by modders as well, why weren't they fixed in the base game version of the LE?
Then they would just be added to the already talented teams who make the games but have tremendous red tape in front of them. Every decision has to be approved by someone. Modders can just put in what they make.
Me: Hmm, I don't know. It looks cool and all but not something I see as necessary. MrHulthen: You can invite Tali up to your cabin and watch movies together. Me: I'LL TAKE YOUR ENTIRE STOCK!
At 4:38, you mention collectables around the ship and show Shepard picking up model ships to display in their cabin. This is already a base-game feature, for both the original and legendary editions. The collectables you had from your ME2 save import are tucked around the ship, ostensibly moved while everything was being upgraded. Similarly, the "new companion outfits" were DLC from the original
I really like the idea of spending casual time with squad mates, especially your love interest, and especially Tali. The mass effect games are linear RPG shooters, but being able to explore more of the RPG aspects helps connect players to the NPCs and strengthens player investment. So in future games, i want to see more relaxed downtime, extended dialog trees, and crew reactions. I envison the atmosphere created in the Citadel DLC. I also want a bigger return in investing in relationships. Imagine how satisfying it would have been if you could have married your love interest in ME3 before the final battle. Knowing you have a future waiting for you is a huge motivation to survive. Plus it could reveal more about alien marriage rituals.
@sakuradabp6400 it's a "cool if they have it, fine if they don't" situation. I know many couples will get married before one goes off to war. It embodies the idea of having to come back alive for. It's sad when their new spouse never returns, but the sense of forlorn loves gives the ending a deeper impact.
@sakuradabp6400 it wouldn't have to happen the day before. Even if It is a common trope in stories for the lead to marry the love interest before the final battle. Or even in this example, when Elizabeth swan and will turner married on the deck of a ship in the middle of a navel battle. It all depends on the execution. It could be good or bad.
This mod ( minor spoiler ) Has a side mission called "Ghosts of Antillin", which gave a larger story detail on the Virtual Aliens, an alien race that were merely mentioned in Mass Effect 2, but never got a follow up in 3, like the Raloi. In my opinion, the "Ghosts of Antillin" would have been a perfect DLC, in place of DLCs such as Leviathan or From Ashes.
A lot of the content in ME 1-3 were cut content (to meet release date) that was later expanded upon, Lair of Shadow broker was meant to be base game, Zaeed was meant to be base game. Legion was meant to be recruited in act 1 or 2 not at the end of act 2 leading into act 3. Javik also being cut for pre-order DLC. Wouldn't surprise me if Leviathan and/or Omega was meant to be a part of the main game. (At least Omega since it's about retaking it, similar to Citadel invasion) and Leviathan makes sense as a mid-act 2 surprise about the origin of the reapers instead of DLC like a year later. So definitely agree with you that Ghosts of Antillin being a perfect DLC, since the others feel like they should've been a part of the main game.
The main campaign of Mass Effect 3 should have had the abominations and scions and praetorians among the reaper enemies. The Klixen should have gotten reaperized as well.
@@NostalgicGamerRickOShay Generally it should have had the Collectors, but either Bioware ran out of time to include them, which prompted them to add the Collectors in multiplayer (And Armax Arsenal Arena in the Citadel DLC), or they felt that bringing back the Collectors would make the suicide mission meaningless as the Collectors we're obliterated at the end of Mass Effect 2.
So, I played the original and I wanted to add some notes to your video. Keep in mind that I don't have legendary edition (I'm not paying 60$ when all I'm missing are the ME1 dlcs, which I can't install since I got it through steam before I knew better.) 1. There are minigames where the Normandy's armaments and/or customizations that you buy for her make those games easier. For example, there's a visit to Thessia where you have to grab up refugees and war assets while the Salarians, Asari, Quarian and Geth fleets buy you time. After a certain point you can't do any more and you can't save ALL the Asari that are trying to flee Thessia. If you do the right balance of refugees, cultural artifacts and war assets Diana Allers will run a piece that adds a little to your war asset score. 2. There are galaxy map missions that tie into the multiplayer classes, giving an explanation for how each joined the war effort. These all run similarly to the above evacuation of Thessia. You have to choose and you only have a certain amount of time to save everyone. However the opener to this series of galaxy missions almost gave me a heart attack. Go to earth (its open) and set off your sensor pings. But um... don't go too far from the mass relay... >.> these weren't the normal reapers that attack you in EVERY other system. These guys must have been chugging freakin caffine they were so fast! And I do mean every other system, because everywhere you've been from ME1 and 2 are all unlocked. There are even war assets on places like Illos or Virmire that you can collect and either use or trade for material. 3. My favorite roleplaying related feature of the mod are the visitors you can have on the Normandy. After every mission where an ME2 squadmate appears, if they're still alive afterwards, they'll show up on the Normandy's lower decks somewhere. Jacob and Miranda weren't there mind. Neither was Samara. But if they don't say they've got their own transport or they're staying behind, expect to find them on the Normandy somewhere until you return to a major port (IE the citadel) to let them off. My favorite was when you rescue Jack and her students. They throw a party in the lounge that has the bar in it, but its so loud that David Archer retreats to the AI chamber to play chess with Edi, who uses holographic pieces on an electronic board to play with David. You can ask him what he thinks of the party and he says "earplugs would be good." My second favorite is after Grunt's mission, if you enter the normandy's sickbay you find Dr. Chakwas and whomever you picked up for extra personelle tending to his wounds and a few survivors of his squad down in the cargo bay with James and Cortez. The "not Grunt" (ie if he died in ME2) is there, being cast by the mod author as Grunt's second in command. 4. you can get a set of spectre armor after Ashley or Kaiden are accepted to the Spectres, and get a new weapon. when you interact with the new armor Shepard says "And this is my faaaavorite store on the citadel." The note left with it is from spectre R+D, who have decided that with two human spectres its best to start working on fine tuning their equipment to fit humans. The spectre armor is identical to what's her name, the Asari spectre from Lair of the Shadow broker. You know who I mean. 5. you can sneak through the omega 4 relay to aquire a set of collector weapons and armor, which alliance R+D will reproduce for you.
this mod looks so cool. it makes me wish i could use them but unfortunately i play the game on console. either way it's great to see the community still producing such great content for the game making it even better than before. maybe bioware could take some notes and apply them to the next game
EGM is mainly lore-overhaul mod than gameplay to be saying. It adds many systems from ME1/ME2 to scan around to find random war assets, even go into Omega Relay once (with properly edited ME2 cutscene). I just wish there would've been mission expanding mods that use multiplayer/campaign maps - missions you could repeat again and again that appear randomly with edited dialogs to tell different objective why we got here with guns blazin' again.
just finished a playthrough of ME3 legendary edition with the EGM mod and it fits in so well and adds just an insane amount of QoL changes that it almost feels necessary for future play throughs .
Quick scanner is so awesome. By napkin calculation, it can save me like 5 minutes of scan passing my future times playing. As a celebration, run trough the new scanner back and forth for 30 minutes.

Me too man, Mass Effect and Project Zomboid are the best games ever made in my opinion. I hope to save up some money for new PC until they release ME 4
I never touched Me until Legendary Edition but it quickly became one of my favorites, might change should I play Andromeda lol I‘m hopeful towards Me4, at least I‘m excited about gaming again :D
EGM is the best mod to ever grace my playthrough. My advice, the mod page has some mod recommendation that integrate with the game. INSTALL ALL OF THEM. After Priority Thessia, there is a small mission that will make you want to smash your keyboard. You have been warned.
I always heard it was supposed to be good but was never sure if I should get it or not. I read a few things but wasn't convinced. You finally did! Thank you for covering so many things! I'll get it right after I finish my Insanity Run in all games!
EGM is the best mod ever! Spectre Expansion, Priority Earth, Take Earth Back, Project Variety, Omega Hub, Happy Ending/Audemus' Happy Ending, and Ark are some other great mods worth trying. Great video, mate!!
As a person with the expanded galaxy, spectre and community patch, amongst a few other things, I'm quite happy. Fov mod. Being able to lower my weapon or manually crouch. I mean . Shit we expected to do. Simple things bioware didn't fix on the way out that were easy to do. The cut conversation with Anderson at the end of the game restored. Getting TIM'S eyes on the slider and varying up the enemies with varying types . Lime Cerberus gets different armors like inferno, assault armor, etc. Reapers get collector units like pratorian , scion, and abomination. The geth bomber from ME3 multiplayer makes a return. Pretty cool stuff. Nothing that makes the game super easy and cheats, but stuff I expected to do. Being able to ask Jack and Wrex to fight on non-priority missions after Armax unlocked them in game in Citadel DLC felt natural to have them in ME3 story after you find reunite. So cool.
I'll still end up trying to get a PC, It really is such a shame that Bioware left all this content out of the trilogy including ME3 which still felt like a rushed job due to EA's mandates and Ashley having her hair down in ME3 really doesn't reflect on her character which was a poor choice that Bioware made in my opinion aside from the rushed lackluster ending including extended cut.
@@uniteddreams7065 Honestly, yeah. I'm beyond grateful we got the remaster at all, its so much more convenient, but I wish they had spent more time on ME3 instead of ME1. Have you seen Audemus's "happy ending" mod? The last two scenes could've been added to Perfect Destroy and fit perfectly. You hear the crew's voices as they search the ruins and the camera pans to Shep who takes a big breath of life. Followed by a funeral where Shep, beaten and battered, puts Anderson's name on the memorial wall, hugs LI, final shot of normandy flying over burning Earth. The og writers state this is what happens anyways on Perfect Destroy so showing it officially would've been nice. I guess that's what mods are for.
Yeah I've seen the happy ending mod, But I usually perfer a bittersweet ending, But at the same time however when I pick destroy I play the Citadel party after defeating the Reapers and Cerberus. I'm also uploading cutscenes of my playthrough as Jayne Shepard with a Garrus romance on my channel.
@@uniteddreams7065 Absolutely, I get that, part of what I love about Dead Space. I just think ending Perfect Destroy with Shep breathing (and alive) but not showing anything after is weird, especially if future games don't pick up on it. Would've been nice to take that one ending a step further for LE, even just the voices of the crew calling out to them implying they're going to be rescued. Ah well. Yeah I do the same with Citadel, its mood feels weird before Earth. Given how wound up Shep is throughout the campaign, how every day the reapers kill millions, I can't imagine any of them actually taking shore leave like that until the war was done. Sweet, i'll have to check it out!
Gotta give a shout out to the maker of mod “Children of Rannock”! The diversification of the Quarian people is amazing and being able to see different styles of faces and suits is beyond this world! Example, Admiral Han’ Gerral! With the CoR mod, you see his armor with war scars and he is missing an eye through his visor. The different facial details is stunning!
Hey Alex, could you make a video about the best pack of mods you can install to transform ME:LE in a new experience (inmersive and graphically) after playing the vanilla? An maybe how to install them (including the textures mods, like deleting the vignette when taking damage, that's so annoying haha)
I installed this mod because I was looking for a way to invite my love interest up to the cabin, but all the additional stuff really surprised me and I love it. Now I can watch movies, look at fish and buy a gift for Tali, and I can also hang out with my bros Garrus, Javik, and Kaiden at the gun range. I also really like how I was able to recruit additional guards and crew members. Now I have a Geth and a male Quarian working in the engine room (reflecting my Rannoch peace decision) and there's a a Salarian and Asari working with Chakwas in the medical bay. It feels like my alien crew isn't all by themselves anymore and the ship just feels way more alive and fully staffed like a warship should be. 10/10
Maranda date terminal, no matter where you are in the galaxy, no matter what time zone your in , you can always call me - long distance romances exist so please add it to the mod.
I love EGM but it still has some issues in some missions, causing infinite loading, black screens or crashes. If you don't have it, great. If you do, you can temporarily disable EGM. This will not have any effects on your savefile. I just couldn't bother with disabling it every third mission and opted-out of EGM mid-game.
@@GameClipsAndStuff I definitely don't recommend installing texture mods on LE. They're sharp enough. Especially ME3 because ME3 needs the mod modularity for frequent changes.
Will definitively give it a try. Something that was hoping to get (but I don't think is possible in the LE edition) are the multiplayer weapons. Too bad they didn't added them in the solo.
I want a mod where the Biotic God makes his triumphant return and singlehandedly destroys a Reaper like Starkiller did with a star destroyer in the Force Unleashed.
This is truly an EPIC mod, i think this one i will maybe use in the future. It makes me think so many things could heave been added but when the legendary edition was released they decided not to add them... the mods are great but i feel this should heave been done by bioware. Keep up the Awesome work MrHulthen.
some of those things should be in the game... if you romance a character from mass effect one or two their defualt place after recruitment should be in the captain cabin and should have a unique set of dialogues that you can repeat. like old school conversation.
Look, I LOVE Tali. Literally. I refuse to romance any other character. But if I have to hear her sing with that SHRIEKINGLY metallic speaker system again, I will rip my own ears off.
I love walking around my ship seeing krogan and marines chilling about, i feel much more safe when you see a squad or krogan warlords or asari commandos in your ship.
Shame they didn't fix the errors in the script so that Ash isn't addressed as Lieutenant instead of Lieutenant Commander like in the scene in this video and by Admiral Anderson at the start of the game.
i dont care what the simps say i still think we need a mod that shows female /male shepards child depending on the love interest - goddamnit i wanna have garus's baby !!! make the mod already!
Man never been interested in kids because it's fan made stuff and not official but this stuff I've seen so far makes me either want to get mass effect legendary edition on PC or wish they made the mods for console or something idk.
y'know mod like this makes me think Legendary Edition is just another greedy cash grab from EA. As a remaster, you supposed to restore all the cut contents/dialogues or add some new features not just some HD texture or lens flares and call it a day. It's understandable they deliberately cut corners back in the day to catch up with release day but now that you had a chance to restore everything, why not do it? For that I say F you EA
Maybe stop being pathetic instant-gratification junkies and sock-cuckers to autocratic platform overlords, and get a real gaming platform? You get what you pay for. You didn't pay for customisability, so you don't get it. Deal with it.
Well, seams like it finally time for me. to reinstall the old ME and try some mods for the first time. (at least succesfull for the first time, hopefully
Damn, I want all the juicy mods for ME3 but don't want to have to install the controller mod. I game on the PC In the living room so controller support is a must and I was really looking forward to playing modded ME3LE but the rest of EGM hasn't been ported yet and having played the full version for legacy ME3, I can't play without it now. I want to know if I can import a ME2 LE save into ME3 legacy.
Never heard of it.. thanks for posting video. I'm on Xbox One, so I suppose this and other mods are NOT available? So how good of a gaming PC do I need to buy to run Mass Effect trilogy and mods well?
it's some one of the amazing mods i have played with this game but the war assets seems a bit extended and somehow my ems were low by the mod but somehow the good ending but it didn't show the crew getting off on the ship, it got cut-off just like the low ems and ended on hackett speech (any help?)
The mod I'd broken for me doesn't have the features described in this video. It used to work then stopped working so I gave up on it. Was cool when it worked tho

The og writers state this is what happens anyways on Perfect Destroy so showing it officially would've been nice. I guess that's what mods are for.
Yeah I've seen the happy ending mod, But I usually perfer a bittersweet ending,
But at the same time however when I pick destroy I play the Citadel party after defeating the Reapers and Cerberus.
Sweet, i'll have to check it out!
so you're telling me Traynor toothbrush costs as much as an entire shooting range...
She was trying to scam us or we got a really shitty shooting range
Replaying the serious with these mods add so much dept to it. I love it!
1:10 No problem, just some Turians flying while walking here
Damn Turian Air Jesuses.
Damn it right when I’m about to finish my play through this comes out. Oh well just gotta wait another 6 months till I make another character.
You should be able to just run through the scanner in the normany like at the citadel
Been using this mod for awhile now. Can't wait for it to be finished. If you don't have Legendary on PC Steam has it 59% off ( $24.59 USD ) right now
Hey Alex, could you make a video about the best pack of mods you can install to transform ME:LE in a new experience (inmersive and graphically) after playing the vanilla? An maybe how to install them (including the textures mods, like deleting the vignette when taking damage, that's so annoying haha)
Ooh, I could look into it for sure. Might take a while to make tho, but i'll write it up :D
I wouldn't get anything done, just spending quality time with Tali in the captains cabin 🤭🤭🤭
I want a mod where the Biotic God makes his triumphant return and singlehandedly destroys a Reaper like Starkiller did with a star destroyer in the Force Unleashed.
apparently i installed it and forgot cause i do not use the hotkeys for helmets and weapons i was not even aware of them XD
This is truly an EPIC mod, i think this one i will maybe use in the future.
It makes me think so many things could heave been added but when the legendary edition was released they decided not to add them... the mods are great but i feel this should heave been done by bioware.
Keep up the Awesome work MrHulthen.
5:10 Tali where's your hand? 🤨
When you’re done with your favorite mods videos you should drop a “top games similar to mass effect” list
The movie date is really cute and a WELCOME addition. X3
You know, just saying, but you could already customize your squad's outfits at either of your personal terminals in the base game
"I'm commander Shepard, and this is my favorite channel on the extranet."
Everyone knows the best date is watching an empty fish tank together.
I don’t know why more companies don’t take the Bethesda approach and put mods available on the Title Screen of games on console….
some of those things should be in the game... if you romance a character from mass effect one or two their defualt place after recruitment should be in the captain cabin and should have a unique set of dialogues that you can repeat. like old school conversation.
One of these days I gotta catch Fleet and Flotilla.
Look, I LOVE Tali. Literally. I refuse to romance any other character.
But if I have to hear her sing with that SHRIEKINGLY metallic speaker system again, I will rip my own ears off.
mod is worth it for the love interest interactions alone
i am really liking these mod videos its so cool
I love walking around my ship seeing krogan and marines chilling about, i feel much more safe when you see a squad or krogan warlords or asari commandos in your ship.
From who?
I’m Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite mod on the Citadel
EGM, TEB and PV are the best mods ever!!! 😍😍😍😍
Shame they didn't fix the errors in the script so that Ash isn't addressed as Lieutenant instead of Lieutenant Commander like in the scene in this video and by Admiral Anderson at the start of the game.
''to motivate you to get good, garrus will be silent watching you from *behind* ''
I don't like where this is going 🤣🤣
Not seeing him doing calibrations concern me......
4:50 LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOO
i dont care what the simps say i still think we need a mod that shows female /male shepards child depending on the love interest - goddamnit i wanna have garus's baby !!! make the mod already!
If this mod was available on Xbox that would be amazing
If console jockeys would get a grasp on the reality of things, that would be amazing, too.
It's stuff like this that makes me wish I had a PC 😭
You'll have a hell of a list to go through when you get one ;)
Man never been interested in kids because it's fan made stuff and not official but this stuff I've seen so far makes me either want to get mass effect legendary edition on PC or wish they made the mods for console or something idk.
It sucks playing console. Now I want this mod AND the mod that shuts Kai Leng up/replaces him with intimidating Cerberus Phantom
Don't play on console then.
"This is Commander Shepard and Tali's thighs are my favorite in the galaxy."
EGM might not get fully transferred, because some of it required Multiplayer.
y'know mod like this makes me think Legendary Edition is just another greedy cash grab from EA.
Does this bring back Zaeed's cut dialogue explaining what happens if you went paragon with him in ME2?
I cannot get Vortex to recognize Mass Effect Legendary. So depressing
Hmm try using ME3 Mod Manager instead :)
@@MrHulthen Thanks I will!!
Ive owned mass effect on the Xbox/PC/PS4 thanks for making me buy it again on the PC just for mods ☹️
I'd settle for just a quest tracker.
I really really hope the bringing this to the console version Xbox because this is something most people need
Wish we could get these mods on consoles 😩
Maybe stop being pathetic instant-gratification junkies and sock-cuckers to autocratic platform overlords, and get a real gaming platform? You get what you pay for. You didn't pay for customisability, so you don't get it. Deal with it.
Is there a way to know what the new hotkeys are (i.e how to lower weapon, make companions have helmets, etc, ect)?
It says I need something called the “Normandy Module,” to change the mission timings. What is the Normandy module?
This mod is awesome 😍, i want it now. Downloading in 3, 2, 1...
Well, seams like it finally time for me. to reinstall the old ME and try some mods for the first time.
(at least succesfull for the first time, hopefully
I wish it added the galaxy map
Does changing armor on the fly also include casual clothing? Like can I change Shepard's outfit on the Citadel whenever I want?
Is this compatible with the Audemus Happy Ending Mod?
It looks absolutely phenomenal!
I think so :D
Yes.
Damn too bad I play on console
woot!
Quite good
Tali is best girl
Wait you chose to save Ashley and not Kaiden why would you chose the bitch over a great friend
Damn. Baited me with the title. 0:10.
Damn I wish they made this available to PS4
Never heard of it.. thanks for posting video. I'm on Xbox One, so I suppose this and other mods are NOT available? So how good of a gaming PC do I need to buy to run Mass Effect trilogy and mods well?
Uh.... you do realize that the model ships around the Normandy are part of the regular game, right?
Have you been able to find the new fish the mod adds?
it's some one of the amazing mods i have played with this game but the war assets seems a bit extended and somehow my ems were low by the mod but somehow the good ending but it didn't show the crew getting off on the ship, it got cut-off just like the low ems and ended on hackett speech (any help?)
Guys any new on the new updates on EGM and Spectre Expansion Mod?
Not Since Feb. for EGM and Apr. for SPECTRE
If only they add the missions bit
Good video as always bro. Does this mode hurt the game in any way? Bugs, crashes etc. I've never insalled a mod before.
So far it hasn't broken anything. Alot of people don't play without it so i don't think it would : )
@@MrHulthen I see. Thank you. Keep up the good work :)
The mod I'd broken for me doesn't have the features described in this video. It used to work then stopped working so I gave up on it. Was cool when it worked tho
I enjoy the mods.
