Hey sweet friend! I love the marble pear 🍐, love how you organized the cabinet and love love the display.. you have such beautiful decorative pieces.. beautiful vlog.. fully watched
Dear Opal, this is such a random comment but I have a very similar nose to yours and sometimes I get in this spiral about my nose and it really gets me down so I try not to go out as much because I just feel so self-conscious of my nose. Everyday I just "override" the insecurity and make sure I don't dwell on it otherwise I spiral. Anways, watching your videos, your glam look and humor gives me such comfort because your nose is truly beautiful and I love yours so so much! If you ever do a Q&A would you give me any tips for how to accept my nose, I feel like it holds me back so much dating-wise too. Your videos make a difference in my life and I appreciate you a lot. Much love xxx
@@ashleysutton7797 Thanks for writing in and sharing something so personal. I also appreciate your comments and grateful to have you apart of our growing online community and conversation! My take on this - we are all guilty of being our own worst enemy when it comes to personal perception- me included 🙋♀️ I too was extremely self conscious of my nose when I was younger and then as I matured I realised that the only person paying that much attention to my nose was me! The people I met on my life journey, professionally and personally saw me for who I was and that definitely was not based on my appearance but how I held myself, kept to my principles and was kind and friendly to all. It’s easy to forget in world where image is very much hyped on the internet, that are most attractive qualities lie beneath the skin so I chose to work on that and the confidence came over time. Superficially (and mentally) when it comes to looking and feeling my best- I make time for self care in regards to prioritising healthy habits and respecting my body which gives us so much! Habits like eating well, moving my body, a skin/hair care routine that makes me feel my best self so when I walk out the door- make up done or not (usually not!) I walk out confident knowing I’m bringing my best self to my family, myself and others because I am mentally and physically set up for what’s ahead from the self healing I’ve done. We are so much more than just a nose and I’m sure the others around you see the beauty in you so embrace yourself, be kind to yourself and don’t let this hold you back from living your best life! I am also in no way qualified for any advice on this matter- everyone is beautifully different! This is just something that helps me maintain calm and life focused so I don’t fall into patterns that don’t serve me or move me or my family forward. All the best to you, positive attitude is everything and I feel you have it in you to conquer this! 💪🏼
Woww thank you Opal 🥹 I really appreciate your thoughts and wisdom on this soo much!! So true what you said about how these patterns, beliefs or “obsessive thoughts over the insecurity” does not serve us! Thank you for sharing that it was difficult for you too when you were younger. And wow you are so right, people love others for who they are not all on looks or one thing you don’t like about yourself. It really is about that confidence in who you are in your soul and spirit, your kindness and love to others and that is how people see you. And mindsettt yess, God created all of us beautifully and it’s time I truly believe it about my nose (I feel like I’ve really loved my body and mind and have no issues around it because I know its an endless pursuit that doesn’t make you happy). But it’s time to find contentment in accepting and finding a way to be okay with the nose I have. I am tryingg so hard but definitely spiral quite often about it for weeks. Thank you Opal, I definitely want to incorporate some more beauty feel goods too like you mentioned with haircare, totally would help give me a pep in my step to go that extra mile and really style it ect. Much much much love! I feel very seen thank you! ❤❤❤
