Youve been wanting to do this for a long time. This was your 100k goal but you pushed sooo far beyond that now Also I LOVE fujikawaguchiko area! Same station you ate at I ate at. I LOVE their Curry w/Croquet. So delicious! Made a friend there at an Isakaya thats no longer there I think. The Pandemic ran them out of business. I miss them. Still though, the lake, chureito Pagoda and the panoramic view from atop the cable car summit was incredible! Stayed a few nights at a Ryokan there and had an unforgettable experience. The grape ice cream is delicious and people there are soo friendly! Dont give up RION! GAO!!!!

Konniciwa Rion, Loved the video seeing all the different sights and sounds. The places and food you eat is very good, loved seeing the different places and you eating different foods, all looked delicious. I enjoyed seeing you on the buses, the buses looked so well kept and looked after. Taxis are always expensive no matter where you go. Your hotel room was very small and bit odd to see the sink near the bed. Rest room looked fine. Good to hear you can have unlimited alcohol, the sake looked nice, I like sake. Sorry to hear you can't get to mount Fiji yet, you were so close, you'll get there next time, stay positive, make it happen, it will sort it self out. Enjoy the hotel room. Arigato.
Love this video! I will be visiting 3 weeks from now and I feel much more confident about how to catch the bus to Oshino Hakkai from Kawaguchi Station. Seeing how sad you felt at the end makes me feel sad for you. That's just part of travelling, it can't be perfect all the time :). You always do such a great job!

It is OK Rion. Can always still do it next year. I heard there are multiple trails to get to the summit. Which one are you guys taking? I guess you can refer to some youtubers that recently went to Mt Fuji's summit for reference. Stay safe. You can go to other places too for the time being.

Stuff happens sometimes that prevent us from our original plans. Mt Fuji is not going anywhere, so you can always go back another time. Put it this way, I rather be where you are now, than at work. Just enjoy where you are now...Have Fun!

Dear Rion, thank you for offering us such a pieceful and lovely scenery of the Yamaguchi Pref. Because of so much beauty it is hard to perceive everything upon first viewing - for details more replays shall be needed. I hope you will manage somehow to climb Mt. Fuji for the weather is so fine ideal for going uphills. If not perhaps your friend will be there for you another time. Mt. FUJI is staying at its spot forever! There are obviously some restrictions because it became too popular even among the tourist to climb it. Anyhow, the scenes from climbing Mt. EVEREST with the climber queue from the bottom to the mountain top should be avoided for sure. GAMBATTE!!

omg i just went to kawaguchiko last few months in april - may! i love oshino hakkai but it was pretty crowded when i went 😅 maybe cuz it was close to Fuji Shibazakura festival. I also noticed there's lack of taxi in kawaguchiko area! i was with my elder parents so they get tired easily and they cant really stand out for too long to wait for bus... so i had to look for taxi by asking random hotel lobby or stores to call them for us 😅 luckily i can speak basic japanese and they willing to help us since like you said uber doesnt work here! but overall it was still a nice peaceful area, just can get busy during holiday season. Though most hotel in kawaguchiko area seems to offer free shuttle from their hotel to kawaguchiko station so its nothing to worry about! and im sorry to hear about your plan on climbing mount fuji! i hope u can find something else fun to do in the area! and im sure u can climb it next time :) fuji san isnt going anywhere! we all be looking forward for your next opportunity!
thanks for your videos and showing us the beautiful nature Oshino Hakkai and street foods. It is OK if you need to plan for something else due somethings you might have missed doing before the trip. Trust me, it happens. When I was solo traveling Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, trust me, there were so many things I had wanted to do but didn't get to do it due to time or even after my research, I got inaccurate information because it was not updated, which meant I made a "wasted" trip without seeing what I had wanted to. Anyways I told myself, to plan for another back there soon, hopefully. Stay positive and hopeful... till your next video.

One question: I notice that sometimes, like in this episode, you seem to pronounce some words like ‘sake’ in what does not seem to be a Tokyo and/or Osaka dialect. (For example ‘sake’ like ‘sawkey’ rather than ‘sawkay’. Is that a pronunciation to make it a bit more familiar for speakers of English, or is it a regional dialect? I know there are a lot of them!! We look forward to seeing you get to Fuji!! Hope u make it!!!
That cute little town is why I want to spend as much time as possible in Japan. It's picture perfect and looks so relaxing! I can imagine myself sat in sight of the water wheel with a big old book and some snacks. I'll cross my fingers even tighter for mt fuji! I'd cross my toes too but I need them to walk to the cafe for my morning coffee!
I love videos of the country side areas. If you don't climb mount Fuji you have to ride the roller coaster. Trust me from my experience you don't want to have to have an upset stomach at the top of mount Fuji as there is no public restroom. Love how when you get out of big city's you get the best local stores selling farm grown vegetables. If you can't climb mount Fuji you'll find something just as interesting. Wow a free bar in the hotel with great selection of drinks. I would have gone and hit it hard after hearing the bad news. Lol
Beautiful town with such lovely landscaped gardens. And the view of Mt Fuji is worth the trip even if you can’t do the Mt Fuji hike. I am happy to just see the towns around Mt Fuji. ❤️(Not sure if it’s true, but I heard they are limiting the # of hikers per day due to overcrowding and shortage of staff.) 😔

Just a opinion. You should buy s camper and tour us over Japan. You can colab with Coupy for reference if you agree. With the camper no more expensive hotel and travel transportation.

Stuff happens sometimes that prevent us from our original plans. Mt Fuji is not going anywhere, so you can always go back another time. Put it this way, I rather be where you are now, than at work. Just enjoy where you are now...Have Fun!

Dear Rion, thank you for offering us such a pieceful and lovely scenery of the Yamaguchi Pref. Because of so much beauty it is hard to perceive everything upon first viewing - for details more replays shall be needed. I hope you will manage somehow to climb Mt. Fuji for the weather is so fine ideal for going uphills. If not perhaps your friend will be there for you another time. Mt. FUJI is staying at its spot forever! There are obviously some restrictions because it became too popular even among the tourist to climb it. Anyhow, the scenes from climbing Mt. EVEREST with the climber queue from the bottom to the mountain top should be avoided for sure. GAMBATTE!!

omg i just went to kawaguchiko last few months in april - may! i love oshino hakkai but it was pretty crowded when i went 😅 maybe cuz it was close to Fuji Shibazakura festival. I also noticed there's lack of taxi in kawaguchiko area! i was with my elder parents so they get tired easily and they cant really stand out for too long to wait for bus... so i had to look for taxi by asking random hotel lobby or stores to call them for us 😅 luckily i can speak basic japanese and they willing to help us since like you said uber doesnt work here! but overall it was still a nice peaceful area, just can get busy during holiday season. Though most hotel in kawaguchiko area seems to offer free shuttle from their hotel to kawaguchiko station so its nothing to worry about!
and im sorry to hear about your plan on climbing mount fuji! i hope u can find something else fun to do in the area! and im sure u can climb it next time :) fuji san isnt going anywhere! we all be looking forward for your next opportunity!

thanks for your videos and showing us the beautiful nature Oshino Hakkai and street foods. It is OK if you need to plan for something else due somethings you might have missed doing before the trip. Trust me, it happens. When I was solo traveling Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, trust me, there were so many things I had wanted to do but didn't get to do it due to time or even after my research, I got inaccurate information because it was not updated, which meant I made a "wasted" trip without seeing what I had wanted to. Anyways I told myself, to plan for another back there soon, hopefully. Stay positive and hopeful... till your next video.

Hello from 2 hours South of Chicago!! We LOVE your episodes. One question: I notice that sometimes, like in this episode, you seem to pronounce some words like ‘sake’ in what does not seem to be a Tokyo and/or Osaka dialect. (For example ‘sake’ like ‘sawkey’ rather than ‘sawkay’.
Is that a pronunciation to make it a bit more familiar for speakers of English, or is it a regional dialect? I know there are a lot of them!!

I love videos of the country side areas. If you don't climb mount Fuji you have to ride the roller coaster. Trust me from my experience you don't want to have to have an upset stomach at the top of mount Fuji as there is no public restroom. Love how when you get out of big city's you get the best local stores selling farm grown vegetables. If you can't climb mount Fuji you'll find something just as interesting. Wow a free bar in the hotel with great selection of drinks. I would have gone and hit it hard after hearing the bad news. Lol
Beautiful town with such lovely landscaped gardens. And the view of Mt Fuji is worth the trip even if you can’t do the Mt Fuji hike. I am happy to just see the towns around Mt Fuji. ❤️(Not sure if it’s true, but I heard they are limiting the # of hikers per day due to overcrowding and shortage of staff.) 😔

You can just go to Chureito Pagoda or Shimonoyoshida to view Mt. Fuji.
Just a opinion. You should buy s camper and tour us over Japan. You can colab with Coupy for reference if you agree. With the camper no more expensive hotel and travel transportation.
