    Hey Thank you for the information shared in this video.
    When searching about it, I came across Fuji-Hakon pass. I am planning to cover Hakone from Kawaguchiko, do you think its worth it?

    • @KenshoQuest

    Is the Mt Fuji pass worth it if we are just doing a 1- whole day excursion?

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  Месяц назад +1

      Hi. The 1-Day Mt. Fuji Pass costs 5,500 Yen per adult. It probably wouldn't pay off unless you visit Mt. Fuji 5th Station (part way up Mt Fuji), as well as other sites in the 5 Lakes Area. Alternatively, you could buy a 1-Day bus pass once you get into the Kawaguchiko area, or just pay as you go for transportation. 🌸 Heidi

    I have family holiday on this June 13-24 . Arrival in Osaka and Departure from Tokyo. We are 5 pax including 3 children 😊
    I just realized that June is rainy season in Japan 😂😂
    I'm trying to make itinerary start from osaka - nara - kyoto - nagoya - shirakawa go - tokyo - hakone - tokyo .. Do you have any suggestion for us for the places worth-it to visit during rainy season ? Thank you

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  4 месяца назад

      Hi, while it will be rainy season I do think you will get a lot of sun too. Your itinerary is doable but going from Nagoya to Shirakawa-go will take the most time as there is no shinkansen between the two.

    Hello. i planning to stay in Kawaguchiko area for 2 full days than after check out on the 3rd day we plan to go to Gotemba Premium Outlet before departing to Tokyo. Planning to do it luggage free. If we were to use the Yamato service do the luggage reach on the same day or you will advice just to find luggage locker at Gotemba area?

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  2 месяца назад +1

      Luggage forwarding service can take a day or two, depending upon the distance. I recommend forwarding your luggage with Yamato Transport before you head to Kawaguchiko. Have it shipped to your accommodation in Tokyo. You can select the date you want your luggage delivered to your hotel. That way you can take just a small bag/backpack with you to Kawaguchiko. Hi! Im planning on doing a 1 day hakone and 1 day Fuji area. I'm contemplating on getting the Fuji-Hakone pass for 64usd.
    Itinerary is Shibuya-Odawara-Lake Aishi-Togendai Ropeway-Gora- Gotemba overnight stay, then Gotemba to Chureito-Fuji ropeway-Fuji-Q then to Shibuya all within 2 days!
    Is that possible?

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  3 месяца назад

      Hi, Yes! You can certainly do it in 2 days. Just a suggestion, unless you have a reason to spend the night in Gotemba, you might want to consider going directly to Kawaguchiko and spend the night there. This way you will have a full day in the area before heading back to Shibuya. Because as the day goes on more and more day trippers show up in the Chureito-Fuji area.

    Hi @KenshoQuest, I'm going to Japan in June, and my itinerary includes Hakone and Kawaguchiko ( 1 day in each site) , round trip from Tokyo. Do you recommend the Fuji Hakone pass from the Odakyu website? Or purchase separately the Hakone and the Mt Fuji pass? I'm so confused ... thank you in advance for your help

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  4 месяца назад +1

      Hi, yes, I would recommend getting the Fuji Hakone Pass offered by Odakyu Railway. It will cover the same sightseeing loop covered by the Hakone Free Pass. Then you can take the bus to Kawaguchiko. And it covers both the trains and buses in the Fuji Five Lakes area. The reason we didn't use that pass was because we were staying longer in the Mt. Fuji area before heading to Hakone. Here are the details for the Fuji Hakone Pass: www.odakyu.jp/english/passes/fujihakone/ And here's our affiliate link, if you'd like to purchase on Klook: affiliate.klook.com/redirect?aid=29280&aff_adid=852585&k_site=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.klook.com%2Factivity%2F77858-fuji-hakone-transport-day-pass-tokyo%2F

    Hi! I really enjoy your videos :) my husband and I are planning a 2 day trip to Kawaguchiko and Hakone. Is that possible? What would you suggest?

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  Месяц назад

      That is possible. If you want to visit Hakone for one day and then Kawaguchiko for 1-2 days, you may want to use the 3-Day Fuji-Hakone Pass. Here's our affiliate link to the pass: geni.us/fujihakonepass You can take a train from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo and head first to Hakone. Then from Hakone there are buses to Gotemba and onward to Kawaguchiko. One day is enough to complete the sightseeing loop in Hakone, as I described in this separate video: ruclips.net/video/XpuGU_2zNuQ/видео.html

      I'd like to stay at a ryokan in Kawaguchiko, so I'll probably do Tokyo to Hakone and head to Kawaguchiko that same day. Spend the night and following day at Kawaguchiko and then take a shinkansen to Kyoto later that evening. Does this sound doable to you?

    Hi , I need help with booking Hitachi seaside park and Ashikaga flower park . however klook is not allowing me to book beyond 16th or 12th May . Does that mean we cannot book tickets to see these parks post 12th May . Please help . I am trying for a day package to these places between 18th and 2oth May .. can you advise please

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  4 месяца назад +1

      Hi! I just went to Hitachi Seaside Park two days ago. 🌷🌊 It might be that the spring flowers will no longer be blooming after those dates, so Klook isn’t offering tours after that point. Or they only allow booking three weeks out, I’m not sure. Right now the Baby Blue Eyes and tulips are in bloom. I went independently, instead of with a tour bus. I took the Hitachi/ Tokiwa Limited Express train from Tokyo to Katsuta Station and then took a local bus to Hitachi Seaside Park. If the Klook package isn’t extended, maybe you could go on your own. 🌸 Heidi

    • @KenshoQuest

      Hi. The JR Tokyo Wide Pass DOES include Fujikyu Railway. It's the only JR pass that will take you all the way to Kawaguchiko Station. Here's our affiliate link geni.us/tokyowidepass and here is some more info: www.jreast.co.jp/multi/en/pass/tokyowidepass.html?src=gnavi

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  2 месяца назад

      @@ME2UFilms The Fujisan View Express that requires an extra fare is a special sightseeing train. From Shinjuku Station in Tokyo you can ride the Fuji Excursion Limited Express train all the way to Kawaguchiko Station. You do NOT need to pay extra for the portion from Otsuki Station to Kawaguchiko Station if you have the JR Tokyo Wide Pass. This is the only pass that covers all the way to Kawaguchiko. However, the Fuji Excursion sells out, so reserve as soon as you can! The Whole Japan Rail Pass only covers as far as Otsuki Station. Here is our video on getting to Mt.
