WHO WON THIS FIGHT ?
Clearly Ali
Ali
Ali
Norton not just won this, he won the rivalry, only fanboys will tell Ali, its a disgrace to say Ali won only because you're a fanboy
@@robertogodoy4779Norton lost this, he clearly do nothing to beat Ali in this fight!
These guys were old school tough!!
No pansying around!!
Both Hard as nails, both durable and could take a punch!
Norton was physically strong, Ali had fast hands and a more precise puncher !!
👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!
Arthur Mercante is one the best referees ever in boxing he is impartial and unbiased says the fght was dead evem going into the fifteenth round. Norton's corner told hm, he had the fight won, he had it in his vest pocket and not to take an unncessary chances. Norton then coasted in the fifteenth round, the pivotal round of the fight, allowed Ali to take the play away from him for at two minutes and fifteen seconds. Norton then came on in the last forty seconds but was too late and not eough to overcome his deficit for the first two minutes, Norton lost the last round and thus ;lost the fight, just as what happened in the second fight. when Alt took the last round there.
Mercante actually had Ali ahead going into the 15th round. His final score was 8-6-1, meaning that before the 15th round it would have been 7-6-1 on his scorecard.
اي ❤محمد على كلاي بطل العالم الله يرحمك ويجعل قبرك روظه من رياض الجنة ولهم اهله الصبر و السلوان
Ali was the BEST OF ALL TIME❤❤👍👍
"Ali 🦁 Edged Kenny 🦁🥊..
...?
I agree. And I think it was superb contest, as were all three of them.
@ 8:01 .......... wow, that is the first time i noticed Muhamad ali ever get visibly hurt with a hard shot to the body like that 😮😮😮
Yes but he was incredible resistant and what a quick recovery
Joe Frazier hurt him with a body shot that staggered Ali in the 11th round in Fight of the Century
THE MOST BEAUTYFUL BOXING DANCING AND FIGHTER EVER , THANK YOU MUHAMMAD ALI , R.I.P PAPA 🥲❤️🌹🙏🏽
Mohamed Ali was very experienced boxer and strong man
Ali’s overhand right has always been his “money” shot. It has set up almost all of his ko wins.
I’ve scored this fight several times over the years, and I’ve never once had Ali winning the fight. Per the last time I scored it, I had it 145-140 (10-5) for Norton.
Both guys got in their share of swing rounds, and I could’ve plausibly had the fight scored as close as 143-142 (8-7) for Norton. Ali definitely had his moments when he was able to dance, jab, and land quick straight rights, but overall Norton landed the cleaner, harder, more effective, more telling blows throughout the fight. He got in on numerous occasions to land hard rights up top as well as some good body blows. His defense was on point too as he ducked, blocked, caught, and swatted punches away with his cross-armed defense.
Ali himself even admitted he lost!
But the question is did Ken Norton land more punches than Ali landed? I don’t think he did and in my opinion the that lands the most punches and gets hit the least should always win the fight.
Because if you go by who lands the hardest punches then most of the time it’s no need for the 2 fighters to fight because you already know who is going to land the hardest punches.
We know that George Forman is always going to land harder punches than his opponents.
We know that Mike Tyson is always going to land harder punches than his opponent before they step in the ring. So in my opinion the name of the game is hit and not get hit and the fighter that landed the most punches should always win.
@@Mr.Be.Realistic it’s not about who lands more.
I mean don’t get me wrong, if 1 guy lands 500 punches and the other guy only lands 50, there’s a good chance I’m going with the guy who landed 500 punches.
But that scenario aside, it’s not about who lands more. And it’s not so much about who’s a harder puncher either. For me, my biggest scoring criteria is clean and effective punching….who’s landing the clearer, cleaner shots? Whose shots are more effective? Are his shots backing up or staggering his opponent? Are they snapping his head back? Those are the biggest things that I look for
@@Mr.Be.Realistic and to answer your question, yes, Norton DID land more punches than Ali; 82 more punches, to be exact. Sure Ali was busier than Norton, but Ken was landing the harder, more effective shots, he was landing more often, and he was much more accurate.
A lot of Norton's shots landed either on Ali's elbows or his gloves. Ali had masterful defense throughout most of the fight. Ali landed more clean, stiff jabs and crosses, and even some solid uppercuts from time to time as well.
@@Demonizer5134 yeah I’m sure Ali blocked a lot of shots….not every shot lands. The shots that WERE landing by Norton, however, were harder, cleaner, and clearer than Ali’s shots.
Norton too put on a decent defensive display as well. With his unique stance and cross-armed guard, he was able to duck, slip, block, and catch a lot of Ali’s shot. That’s why Norton had a significantly higher connect percentage.
Ken couldn't match hand speed with Ali and that put Ali out in front in this fight. I also noticed that when Ali started dancing, Ken wasn't able to get in the fight at all. Ali boxed his way to a win and did a great job out boxing Ken.
Norton was tough against boxers, but the bangers knocked him out quickly. Problem with Ali was, he lacked that power.
10:52 Ali ❤
Float like a butterfly
Sting like a bee
Close fight - if Norton had won the 15th Round convincingly he’d have gotten the decision.
Muhammad Ali the greatest of all time.
Not in this fight.

Ali already showed that he defended the title this night.. Norton didn't do anything convincing to beat Ali😂 all these haters say Norton won but they didn't watch the full fight compeletely😂😂🤣
Norton didn’t do anything convincing?!?! He was landing the cleaner, harder, more effective shots all night!! There’s no doubt that Ali had his moments and took rounds, but Norton’s punches were clearly more damaging and effective!!
@@corytclark Norton may landing effective but sometimes he waste time or even do nothing shit also he play safe multiple times which wasting his time and all he should do to win was destroying Ali and he didn't do it in this fight..
@@hudaarifathul6950 I won’t say that Norton didn’t bide his time or wait a long time between some attacks. BUT….he landed a lot more heavier and meaner shots than Ali.
People who think Norton won this fight are not haters of Ali. They are honest with themselves in what they saw.
Yeah but when your champion the opponent has to overwhelmingly/convincingly win..its in questuon like it or not and thats not good enough to take it from someone..IMO
Cut the bit out when the camera pans to Ali's face when the verdict was being read out...even he seemed embarrassed by the decision!
All of their fights were close and great. Arguably Norton won 2 of them. This could have been a draw it was that close
Ein Weltmeister muss schon garantiert 2x zu Boden gehen, sonst wird es für den Herausforderer schwierig, die nötigen Punkte zu holen.
Great Great part of history.
My score of the fight:
Round 1: Ali
Round 2: Norton
Round 3: Norton
Round 4: Ali
Round 5: Norton
Round 6: Norton
Round 7: Ali
Round 8: Norton
Round 9: Ali
Round 10: Even
Round 11: Ali
Round 12: Even
Round 13: Even
Round 14: Norton
Round 15: Ali
Final Score: 6 rounds Ali, 6 rounds Norton, 3 rounds even. Ladies and gentlemen I score it a draw.
Ali beat Norton fair and square. And how could Norton be a convincing Champion after being destroyed by Foreman. I’m taking nothing from Norton, a terrific fighter, who along with Frazier gave the Greatest his toughest tests.
If Foreman destroyed Norton, what does that say about Ali? Norton, went the distance 3 times will Ali, and should have won at least 2.
@@garywallace5602 It says Ali was a better fighter than Norton.
Norton's style is a problem for Ali ..... Close fight.
Norton ALL DAY
Not sure he ever beat Norton
Norton won. You rave on .
Ken Norton could fight
Grandi pugili
I always thought Norton beat Ali twice
As happened in the two fights with Ernie shaver and Jimmy Young, Ali win the fights when they reached the judges' hands.
norton win this fight and ali know that, you can look to his face after the fight
not fair
He beat shavers and young
@@TheMiketyson9 My dear, I am a huge fan of the legend Ali, but let's not be unfair to the fighters who defeated him and were not given credit for that.
Learn the rules of boxing. The winner is the man who scored the most punches, and by that Ali clearly won
@@alanwelch6594 no way, ali landed less than all of the three ( shavers, young, norton )
@@RareMan-d3w Punches caught on the gloves don't count but jabs do. Try counting.
Ali missed approximately 3 years in his prime due to the War. He potentially could of won another 5-10 fights
Ali haters always say Norton robbed but the reality they don't know how to judge a fight and never actually see the full fight🤪
How are they Ali haters if they believe Norton won. All of the commentators ringside thought Norton won. They are not Ali haters. Sounds like you need to grow up.
@@stephenbanks5860Commentators were undercover haters and BS just look at the judges they were unanimous on Ali and they were right just watch the fight without volume
🔥
El mediocre Ken Norton
Still sad we never got a Ali Foreman 2 think Foreman would have knocked him out early in States!
Can you imagine, you don't rate Ali at all 😊
Que es lo que le decía Ali a Norton ? Cuándo le Decía Norton Made Fo norton made fo Norton Made Fo que le gritaba al publico? Di alguien me puede traducir ? Muchas gracias no hablo ni escribo ni entiendo ingles mucho
The sweet science
Even Ali knew he had lost the fight, just see the reaction of norton and the one of Ali in the end of round 15🤪 Norton got robbed
Who are these announcer?
Wish Norton knocked out Ali.
You don't defeat a champion with dead body shots. Ali, was far away superior to Ken.
I thought at was close, but I have Ken Norton winning this fight. Kenny himself wrote a great piece about how and why he won this fight in his opinion, it is included in Taschen’s great “ALI” book, a must-have for any fight fan. He makes good arguments though I have it closer than him. Norton sure did more damage to Ali than vice versa, and Ali knew it. But he won on the judge’s scorecards, and that appeared to be enough reason to keep the Ali show with all his associates moving along.
Ali
Narton beat ali three times they make more money from ali as champ
You a sore loser. Ali won the fight clearly.
This!
Ali was heavily favoured, so please dont come tell his the GOAT
He beat the Best Fighters in his prime and he ducked anything. He is the GOAT
@@ElTerribleProductionHe took on everybody but he got controversial decision wins over Young and Norton. He avoided a fourth fight with Norton in favor of a fight with a 6-0-1 Leon Spinks. He then got a rematch with Spinks instead of having to face Norton again.
@@ElTerribleProduction he will never be the goat, he was a bad person to frazier who helped him, he paid back frazier with making fun of him, he got smacked and went to 12 rounds with average boxers, lost to norton twice, frazier, spinks with 7 pro fights, he relied on islam to avoid war and to be nasty with his wife, his fights with liston are hugely controversial, he was a really good boxer but never the goat, that title goes to Joe Louis, the GOAT and also a much better human being, an example of a person.
Norton big girls blouse 😂
Ali clearly won this fight and Norton just wouldn't do shit to beat Ali, if he wanna beat Ali he must do the same way as what as he was in the 1st fight, and in the last round of this fight Norton let Ali to jab him for 2 minutes 15 seconds😂 that's the mistake Norton made this night which cause him to lost🤪🤪 haters accept reality and stop making excuses😝
Wow, what a disgrace Norton clearly won that fight..he was robbed!!
too little too late...
even Ali admitted he lost
Crooked Judges
9-6 Norton
@@martinlively23928-6-1 Ali
Ken Norton won all three fights😂.. Ali is was over rated.
Norton whooped Ali’s ass, he was robbed,
I Agree
Norton whoop none ass that night, nothing convincingly he has done.. Ali proved he is defending the title
@@hudaarifathul6950 it’s probably a good thing that you are not a boxing judge,
@@mrmoon1482 you too
Norton❤💪
Why was Ali weak against Norton?
Was it because of speed?
If so, would Ali in his prime have easily defeated Norton?
1. Norton's trainer exposed Ali's weaknesses so Ali wasn't quite effective and also this match took place after exhibition fight but in so called entertaining match took a toll on Ali's leg and he couldn't dance as much as he used to.
2. Ali's skills were diminishing so his speed was in decline.
3. Prime Ali would have beaten norton up convincingly.
Got it. Thank you for answering.
@@カリちゃんねる-f4d 😘
Some fighters style just give other fighters problems
@waldosilas919 Actually ken norton was type of boxer who could give problem for all boxers but his weak chin against devastating puncher kept him from being one of the greatest ever, if he had had durable chin likely he would have beaten up foreman in 1974 by narrow margain :(.
Norton won the rivalry but Fan boys claim Ali was god hahahaha
