Hunters, for final boss I strongly recommend void, devour build, deadfall tether. Be sure to have trappers ambush and vanishing step. Go lucky pants for armour, paired with malfeasance. Rocket in power slot, forebearance in the special.
I tried both arc and solar and could not get this boss down flawlessly. Arc Hunter puts you in a lot of danger, and solar is a real pain for the hex dudes.
    Here’s the hard sell reasons on void;
1.) Trappers ambush/Quickfall will take the hex off of you, plus grant invisibility. This is so useful.
2.) Once you have devour procced, it’s unlikely you’ll lose it until after damage phases, keeping uptime on constant heals is a breeze.
3.) Don’t even worry about using heavy for damage, just use malfeasance. Two rockets will destroy the scorn broken knights, any leftover heavy can just be thrown in after you power through illegally modded holster.
4.) Tether will give you an insanely long damage phase up top, as it will connect and kill blight eyes with ease.

Pro tip at Ogre, move between torches to form a "Z" : this way you add extra distance between you and the boss compared to going for the normal route.
    Some other tips :
At ogre for hunters : assassin's cowl and knives to clear Taken eyes very safely and very quickly.
At final boss: if you're hunter, swapping from assassin's cowl to Celestial N few seconds before the damage phase is comfortable and adds a lot of survivability for add clearing and totem capturing phases, instead of running Celestial N thé whole time.
For final stand : don't fight, turn back and move onto the platforms where you fought the boss before, and put on wish ender or any bow for a safe clear. You got all the time you want.

Little tip for 2nd encounter: If you're doing the 2-2 orb strat, then I would strongly suggest putting your first two orbs on one side and your last two orbs on the other side. This will allow you to kill the eyes on that side so you don't have to worry about tanking the damage they give on top of everything else.
By the way, if you're having trouble staying alive in the first encounter on titan, I would strongly recommend using Strongholds, a sword (preferably The Lament), and Banner of War. You can literally just hold guard with your sword while standing in the totems to build up your perfect guard stacks, then unleash it all when you enter a damage phase, which will give you 16 seconds of Restoration. That combined with Banner of War and the intrinsic healing capabilities of Lament should keep you very safe during the encounter.
Also this wasn't in the video for solar titans so I'll just point it out: If you lose your hammer or are waiting for it to regen, you are still able to generate sunspots with your uncharged melee if you have Roaring Flames procced. Getting a kill in this manner will also spawn an orb of power regardless of if you have your hammer or not. For those who know this, it'll be a bit obvious, but for those who don't know this, it is a tool that can potentially save a lot of runs, especially if you're running synthoceps.

Tip for warlock on final boss:
Put your well on the 1st floating platform on the 3rd floor damage phase. This lets you have well for both the 3rd floor damage phase and part of the 1st platform damage phase. This also keeps you safe from the psions. If youre using sunbracers, make sure you get a melee kill before the boss fully teleports to the 1st platform since the psions despawn. Also, your snap can ignite the boss and kill an eye, procing sunbracers. You have to get somewhat close, but its not too bad. I recommend doing this for the 1st platform since you should have well to heal back up.

  • @Niek17

Dawn Chorus turns dawnblade into an alright dps super, as well as making scorch a ton better. It stacks really well with season artifact stuff. It does also help you get you melee back, and snap is pretty good, so that's neat. You can use the 2x resto nade then use the snap melee and your solar primary to keep it up pretty well with empyrean. This alleviates the problem with sunbracers and killing stuff too fast. Its also just an easier loop, which meant I didn't have to think as much in my run. Thinking is hard. I'd recommend a solar weapon with demo and incandescent, like the battler or no survivors. Also go with healing rift, not phoenix dive. Overall I'd say its a much safer, but less potent option

    Great guide as usual
As a proof of concept i have solo'ed this dungeon with a Arc Vesper of Radius Warlock for all encounters. Only seasonal artifact that was useful was Solo OP and Argent ordnance. I focused more on crowd control with reasonable healing allowing me to voltshot anything in sight without having to think to leave some enemies alive to keep resto up. Only concern really was the fact it made me very static in my rift so it needed more attention to were u are positioning yourself because of the witches and the blights in combination with boss splash dmg on 3rd boss. Used VotD weapon perk on Deliverance fusion to heal a bit during last pillar on 2nd boss, as usually i had no rift by then or enemies to surround me to get it back quick enough. Both 1st and 2nd boss are a 3-4phase with Chaos reach, making sure boss was jolted before casting it and then using Lament for the 1st, Acrius on the 2nd and a slideshot+explosive light rocket for 3rd. Future proof after season ends, as are Karnstein's imo, weapon loadout can be improved using Dragon's Breath on 2nd boss for the stun.
I found sunbracers and/or sunshot to be too effective, especially with Rays of Precision from the artifact, it's like a Michael Bay movie.. explosions everywhere and everything dies, and i kept loosing restox2 at the worse times.

    For Hunters:
I highly recommend switching to strand and waiting for your super to charge before attempting the jumping puzzle after the second boss. The near infinite grapples with the super make this light work. Double grapple to the mid point, land to refresh charges and double grapple to the end. Also, while shooting the boss of the top floor (main DPS), alternate your peeking position behind the pillar from left to right. The boss will only shoot at where you stand. Peeking from left and right will make the boss miss entirely.
Don't forget to bring Polaris Lance too when you're out of ammo.

So, here are my two cents.
For Void Hunters: Target Lock + Fourth Times the Charm Retrofit Escapades do shockingly high damage and recharge your super incredibly quickly. Very useful on the final boss and during the second encounter because of how long the damage phases can be, and the damage phase on the platforms get extended immensely by using tether to wipe out eyes as soon as they pop up. Combine this with a secondary damage dealer like Witherhoard and you will be surprised at what you can acomplish in such a short amount of time.
For those using the Arc Punch combo during the first encounter: Liar's handshake cannot outheal the boss and all the adds, and combination blow refuses to trigger off the yellow bar Ravangers, and the Lurkers will throw you off. The fight WILL end if you keep up the combo and play it safe, but you have to be mindful of Liar's not playing nice at times - make sure to stack mods that drop orbs of light and bring a mod to give you healing/regen on pick up, because that CAN absolutely make the difference.
Finally, the final boss is fully invulnerable during final stand if you are not standing on top of the tower he spawns you on, or one of the three platforms during his major damage phase, eyes or no, but that does mean if you pack a long range option for plinking eyes and damaging the boss (a shockingly good option if you have it is Heirchy of Needs, since it ramps up to high damage at range) then you can absolutely spend the entire final stand away from the tower.
    Good hunting!

    • @DemonCipher13
      @DemonCipher13 7 месяцев назад

The reason Malfeasance is the better play is because of the extra damage to Taken enemies. Provided you're using your Lucky Pants properly, it far outclasses a limited-ammo Dragon's Breath, particularly if you have Bait and Switch Apex Predator as your rocket.

Hunter main here, I just did the solo flawless. First boss, solar, shards of glanore, with dragon's breath scatter signal and a solar energy weapon of your choice with incandescent, I found calus mini tool way more useful than a hand canon here, triple solar resists as well. Second encounter, same loadout except I swapped mini tool for an ammit, just for the range, makes dealing with the eyes easier. Why rapid fire guns on both encounters? makes maintaining restoration and radiant way easier than with a hc. last boss, I actually swapped to a void build with lucky pants and malfeasance, a fusion in the energy slot and apex with bait and switch, for the super I used deadfall, because it will deal with the eyes just by shooting the boss, extending damage a bit on the upper plates, for final stand, I just cheesed it like Datto hinted at, left the tower, climbed up on the top plates and used wishender, but that took me almost half an hour just plinking away at him like that, then I used a double grapple to get back up. Hope this helps, good luck.

    For final boss:
if you are struggling with heavy ammo, instead of using a dragon's breath rocket to kill one of the 2 minibosses I found it almost as easy to use a sniper on the last miniboss alive while you stand in the 1/2 totems of the first one, especially if you know how to hit crits with precision instrument. Special ammo will never be a problem in this boss fight, and even though succession is most likely the best sniper you can also go for a rapid-fire frame and use it for more than boss damage.

I'm sure Datto knows this by now, but you don't need to be hunter to damage the last boss in final stand from far away. All classes can do it the only thing you need to do is when you leave the watch tower area and go to the top platforms where you do the ending of normal dps and you can plink at its health with a scout rifle/sniper as the boss wont be immune if youre standing on the top platforms.

For Hunter, I recommend shards for second boss. I was able to consistently get three supers per damage phase, almost getting four each time. It was an extremely easy three phase with my third phase being a super, a dragons breath shot, and a couple fusion shots. If you leave all of the acolytes and thrall and use them to rebuild super between plates, you could very easily get three supers. If you have high intellect, you could get four

    I used Scatter Signal w of/cb

The seasonal mod torch can give a lil extra alongside the mod that gives weapons unraveling after licking up an orb.
Hammer an enemy for orb and radiant then: Hammer boss>Scatter Signal for unraveling>Pyrogale>Dragonsbreath> then spam Scatter Signal.
Keep picking up orba for extra damage on boss and always keep dragonsbreath rotation. Throw hammer when possible.

Something I found during my SF run is that on final boss if you run solar hunter with celestial nighthawk and a heavy LFR you can shoot the boss with your one goldie shot and then hit him once with an LFR shot. This (should) hurt him enough to phase him. This means that you only need to cap 1 totem which reduces the time you need to be in line of sight with the boss. As for final stand I just waited until my super was ready before starting and when it began I gave him 1 celestial shot to the face and then just finished him off with LFR.
    Good luck out there guardians!

For those running Solar builds and are Sidearm Enjoyers(tm), using either Heliocentric QSC with Heal Clip and Incandescent or Drang Baroque with Wellspring and Incandescent provides insane add clear and personal sustain. They do great damage, 2 tap the blights on encounter 3, and are just solid and fun.

For warlocks, you can easily just stand in a well and use supremacy with 4th times + rewind and hit damage check on final boss each time. I was consistently hitting even if I only got 2 totems (given, this was with artifact mods). Between that and a bait and switch catalytic for the top damage phases, it was a 2 phase.
Also, while overflow is good on the new fusion and long term is 100% the play, I’d recommend slice for the time being. There’s an artifact mod that just gives you free damage as long as the boss is strand debuffed and you’re radiant.
Finally, on the ogre, if you deal with the left scorn guy first, the right one will move very close to mid by the time you finish. I had quite a few mistakes with not getting double totems from the first guy, and by doing left first I was able to grab a totem from the right guy as well. The solo quad totem is also possible, though no clue how hard it actually is

I believe it occurred because i killed the boss extremely quickly after dps phase. He was a literally one shot from my epochal integration. If you have the boss extremely low, wait out the dps timer a bit before killing the boss.
