I was really stressed out today and this came up in my recommended videos. Thanks so much for unlocking a key memory and bringing me back to sitting criss cross apple sauce on my brothers bedroom floor playing this as a child. Really helped me through a very tough day.
I always remember how at 32:53 if you were far away enough from the bear chasing you that you were out of his sight; you could go to the rock wall on the right hand side of the screen, stand against it so you were hidden, and he'd run right past you, not noticing you. I always thought that was a really clever thing the game did. Especially for a PS1 game; really believable AI.

The boss fight its way better in n64. In ps1-ps2-gamecube its just merlock shooting arrows and trying to set you in fire. In n64 - pc its merlock who transform himself in a fricking dragon who shoots fire balls

This and Star Wars Demolition were my two favorite games on the Playstation, we couldn't afford any others but I'd be hooked for days.
