I have been smoking for 50 yrs. I have been saved sin e I was 12.I struggle with this. Everyday. Plz pray for me.
I smoked for 48 years and just quit 2 months ago. It’s hard but I turned it over to Jesus and his strength has really kept me from cheating. It’s hard as everything. The urges are awful but my ability to say “no I won’t touch them” is actually miraculous this time that I took it to Jesus. I will pray for you.
Barbara i smoke for 35 years and one day I quit and suffer for over a year ans finally it got better... today I been 20 years smoke fee Hallelujah the damage is still there but I feel better and now that I have God in my heart I thank him every day, my friend be strong and hold on to Jesus he will do the rest. Just QUIT AND DONT TOUCH THEM EVER AGAIN. I will be praying for you too, God bless you!!
I smoked for 45 yrs. You can do this girl even if you try and you were off the smoking for 1 week, 2 months say 3 different times, don’t stop and don’t be hard on yourself and remember if time has passed several times and you haven’t smoked that that you went back don’t be hard on yourself. Just remember having mental thought that and the reason why I say this is because now you know you can because you did one month one week two months whatever or, however you long you did but you kept going even when you might’ve messed up you got back up again and you tried again maybe you needed a little more time I don’t know but always remember the time that you did quick, even if they were short time to long crimes so the excuse of using you can’t which the devil will bring up to ya just remember you can because you did and you will do it because Jesus is there helping you and your dad are fighting so just hang in there and go with it
If you ask God to rid you of anything that is keeping you from fulfilling his purpose in your life, and believe that he will do it for you, He will❤🙏🙌💯

I quite smoking for good, when I would pray my way through each and every craving, each time I craved a cigarette, I would say, "Thank you Jesus, Thank you Jesus" over and over again, until the craving passed... then I got up out of my chair, walked outside for a min, or did dishes, did anything... to get occupied otherwise. I've not smoked again. I had tried with some success in the past with the patch, and other devices, and it helped for a couple years I went smoke free,... but the only thing that worked for years now was thanking Jesus. 🙌

I asked God to take smoking away over 30 years ago and He did. Smoking and seeing cigarettes in ashtrays made me sick to my stomach. God is able. I pray He will do the same for all that struggle with smoking.
This is so timely! I’m saved but still struggling with vaping and I know it’s a sin, I feel so guilty doing it and I’m praying for deliverance from it 🙏🏾

I am trying truly to quit smoking. Im embarrassed by it. I started when i was 14 thinking I was cool. Everyone in my family smoked. I call them yuckies. Because thats what they are . Please pray with me that i can be set free from this addiction
I quite smoking 20years ago when I went to church and received Christ. I have never look back. Praise the Lord He has taken the desire for smoking.

the tobacco shouted at me from the bag, unclean, unclean. But it was a sermon that pointed to Jesus' speech in the synagogue in Nazareth that solved me when he said that God had a problem with us not believing God. Then I prayed and asked God to fight the battle that I had lost once and for all. Then me and my husband became free. The love and the craving for smoke disappeared.
My husband (56 y/o) was recently diagnosed with COPD even though he never smoked a day in his life. However, his parents were heavily addicted to cigarettes and he had to live in this daily growing up. His father died of lung cancer a couple years ago and his step mother is dealing with COPD herself and on oxygen. They never believed smoking was “bad”. It’s so sad….I beg you to think of your family also. God bless and thank you for this wonderful message!

I would thank God every day for freeing me from my addiction to cigarettes (even as i was lighting one up sometimes). I said it out loud. and i would continue to thank him time after time...and within 1 week i was able to quit because of my expectation that God would allowme to rise above it and be disgusted by it. Addiction tried to get me again the next year but i realized i wasn't living 100 for the Lord and harbored fears of the future, and once i was truly delivered from my FEAR i no longer had any desire to smoke. It's left me forever. There may be an underlying reason you smoke like how fear worked against me. Hopefully that helps you somehow😊

I am knew to your messages. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior as a child, by 19 years old, I began to learn and growing in Christ. I have back slide on several occasions and smoking and drinking was definitely a strong hold in my life. The word does say touch not the unclean thing. I ask God to forgive me for touching the unclean thing. Please keep me in your prayers. Deliverance is what I need from this addiction. My nerves get bad I smoke, I get upset or people upset me for no reason, I don't even know the majority of the people, they be jealous and envious. Try to do things to me physically to hurt me. I’m a born again Christian and I’m an addict to smoking,I’ve tried to quit so many times,and to no avail,the flesh craves like mad,then I fall back to my old dirty habit.i want our father to purify me so that my whole being will be just for God Amen
I went on a fast for 21 days to quit the habit . I heard the lord say to me after I had spoken to a radical Islamic man over Israel 🇮🇱 and his soul , he told me they took Israel called it their country. I heard the lord say to me you can’t preach the word with those in your hands .
That was the last ones I bought. I’ve been free 14 and more years . This one comes by prayer and fasting only . I am so happy he set me free . My body is a temple , it defile the body . Will it kill me yes , and it’s something I would not do now thinking to offend a person .

Our bodies do not belong to us they belong to God thus our 'temple' is not a self determined instrument for our own cause or effect. Our bodies are specific for Gods will and purpose according to his plan.

I started smoking at eleven years old. Smoked for 62 years then in March of 2022 God healed me of my addiction to this horrible drug. Gal. 5:20 and the greek for the word witchcraft pretty much answers the question being asked for me. I might add that God will not go against your will. All those years I tried many times to quit but truth be known I really didn't want to. When my will was inline with God's will He healed me.
I quit smoking two years ago cold turkey.. because of the Risen Savior of course.. not to say I didn't battle it for a year and half after I got saved but yes.. I woke up I didn't have smokes.. I said to myself and I ain't gettin none either... October is years.. praise God
congrats, im 3 weeks in, cold turkey on both cigarettes and weed. because of this, i have gotten mad, at myself, at the Lord. i hope Jesus forgives me, because its only because of these withdrawels that i got mad, and the fact that my father has a short fuse and my mother always projects instead of blaming themselves for their actions. these things make me do the same things as my parents. when its simply my fault.

I smoked an "aromatic" pipe just occasionaly. Nice tobacco like Cherry, Rum & Maple, etc... I did "the art of pipe smoking." About 4 years ago the Lord spoke into my heart... Just say, this habbit causes me to miss Jesus' bride event. How mad I will be at myself?! I burnt everything and it gave me much more boldness in my relationship with my Redeemer! Thank you Lord!!!

I am also a believer. I am smoking snd are on anti- depressants. I stopped my treatment and had suicidal thoughts all the time .I was of treatment for 5 months .I lost weight could not sleep ,my hair fell out .I one day went to a high place and was ready go jump when tourists came to the same place ,I could not .My dad died by suicide . I pray for deliverance. I had to go back on treatment, but I am ok with that ,as I dont ever want to be in that dark place .Pray for me Pastor for my deliverance. I follow all your messages. It must be a sin. The day a person get reborn the first things you want to let go of is party alcohol and smoking you just feel so guilty when light a sigarette. So interesting! Thank you ! I don’t smoke !!! I hate cigarettes , smoking! I am 69 , still a nurse, the worst , most time consuming patients are the respiratory! They can never breathe, be settled! Mom died, Dad died 3 months later in 2007,. Dad died of a broken heart . My Dad loved coffee , my dtr and I gave my Dad 1/4 teaspoon of coffee close to him taking his last breath ! Wow, I hadn’t thought about this for awhile. God help everyone! Heal these addictions , carry people to Jesus !

Could I ask them,a person with chronic pain should suffer rather than being a slave to pain medication? Or a person with bad lungs not to be a slave to inhalers and breathing treatments to breathe? Thank you for your thoughts and biblical truth
I ask the same as I have been on pain meds for brittle bones since 2010. 3 foot surgeries, both rotator cuff surgeries, carpal tunnel surgery, 2 back surgeries, 4 days apart, and I KNOW I am beyond a doubt that I'm addicted and I also vape. The guilt eats me up, and it makes everything else such a struggle. Please pray for me. I don't want to be like this. God bless you, brother Tiff and you are my pastor for all intents and purposes.
Try Fasting and Prayer it really helped me the cravings are not so severe

Tiff I'm also a tobacco user I've been struggling with this it is addictive and you are 100 percent right on I have quiten for several years and was doing fine with out it until I started back about 15 to 16 years ago and been chewing ever since my wife even chews I've been trying to to pray and for God to take it away I dip and chew jaw tobacco and I'm also diabetic but I've also been noticing here by dipping snuff not been tasting right could that be God working on me please keep me and my wife and every one in prayers and I also have a friend next door he reads his bible about every day he also chews twist tobacco he's 86 year's old and keep him in prayers also thank you tiff
I heard that chewing raisons can help with weening yourself off of that stuff.

I went to one your son's services and I was so ministered to that when I went home, I was so grateful, I made a vow to God to quit, flushed my cigs and God took the desire immediately. However, I do chew nicotine gum. Thank you so much❤

Iam a smoker but I have tried to quit 3 or 4 times I have had brain surgery where I had to stop smoking 2 weeks before surgery which I did and a thunk it was 2 weeks after surgery but my flesh was weak and went back then I thru a full pack away out of my window of my car and then I tried again and still went back my spirit is willing but my flesh is weak I'm 87 years old and I'm smoking 73 years how do I get rid of this habit I know what Jesus did for me and I cover my body with the blood of Jesus why can't I let go I believe in God I have faith and trust in him I ask Jesus to help me with this habit

I believe that overeating and taking in too much sugar as to make you a diabetic is equal to smoking. Taking medication such as pain pills to the extent that they damage your health or screw your thinking falls into this same category. These are the unmentionable sins of the church

Thank you Pastor but is taking weeds a sin. My son takes weeds, sometimes put it in his food so that we would not see him taking it and I’ve cried and cried to God about it that God should deliver him. I love the boy so much I don’t want him to perish.
