How to use a head gasket tester and combustion gas checker

So, I'm diagnosing a cooling issue and looking for the possibility of a head gasket problem. This checker is one way of trying to find head gasket issues. It will detect if combustion gasses are forcing past the head and into the cooling system. these tester kits are widely available at any local parts store. Most of the time you can jut barrow them and not have to buy it for keeps.
